A few factors might be responsible for the failures

Do you have a decent calculation background ?

Do you have numerous copies of Gmats, Dragnet past questions?

While doing mock sessions on these past questions, do you time yourself to know your efficiency vis-a-vis your scores?

By the grace of God...I have never erred in any aptitude test and I satisfied all these factors

I have an interview with the above company on Monday in which they request that I bring my credentials when coming.
The issue is that I submitted my CV 3days ago and yesterday I received a mail and SMS for interview.
I wonder if there won't be any kind of aptitude test before oral interview.
I want to believe I am going for a genuine interview as I don't want to waste my time and resources going for an interview I will later regret.

Data analysis has to do with econometrics. You should have an idea on that. However,data analysis has to do with evaluating data using analytical and logical reasoning to examine each component of the data provided.
It has to do with creating a regression model with the information gotten from the data collected,and evaluating the relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variables(serial correlation problem). And if possible,forecast for the company.
This is the little I can say about it.

You can go for a certification in data analysis to become a data analyst.

You don't need to tell us about your achievement...some people here are first class.

Then if I remove the battery,put it back and on,it comes back to recovery.

But when I removed d battery the first time and on it,it showed dat red logo and went back to d recovery...it didn't show me any sign of installing.

Lemme share this story, I went for an interview for the role of a Customer Care in a popular firm. On getting there, I met a friend; the least person I expected to see. Know why? She graduated with 1st Class. She actually came for the role of marketing. Had to confront her cos I was short of words. When I heard her story, I just had to curse this country. This is a lady that is extremely hard-working plus a nerd. This was a year after our NYSC.

And do u know what it means to be under-employed Please ask around for clarification. Quote me anywhere, 60-70% of graduates are under-employed. Do u think its favourable? Think of the transport cost, feeding, expenses to keep up wit then lastly family pressure Especially if u work in a city.

By the way, help is needed in writing ur CV. U need a professional touch to it which u cant clearly know since u arent in the HR dept And neither is it something u study in school.

Dont just sit down and talk thrash when u have no idea of what the situation is. Fine some graduates could be lazy but thats a little percentage to the total number of the unemployed.

Lol! I said some...you still agreed some are lazy...and call my words thrash.
Bro, employment is not always by good grades(only in Naija do we value grades than skill),but also by that skill that makes you outstanding out of the multitude. I know first class that are unemployed (trust me....it baffles me),and I still have the ones doing very well.
It is that extra effort that you put in will aid you get a job. And also prayers.

If I don't get a job as at the time I stipulated, I'm definitely not going to be lying around still seeking. Always have other plans for yourself.

Everyone knows its not easy getting a job.
but don't make it extra difficult.

Hmm....I must first of all appreciate the OP.

This thread with its comments, has been discouraging in some point.

We all know of the country's failure towards employment, but it doesn't always have to be the country's fault for your being unemployed.

I am currently serving in a remote village in ondo state, which I will be rounding off in July by God's grace. And I must say that some Nigerian graduates are the most unserious and lazy sets of graduates.
Few months ago, a company recuiting,requested for cv submission, and to my utter amazement, I saw most corp member running helter-skelter begging for help to prepare their cv.
For Jupiter sake, why will you relax until you are being tensed, before you know what is good for you.

Preparations for the labour market begins from your nysc days. Some people relaxed until after service before preparing to seek employment.

I am currently Learning data analysis, advance use of excel, And at the same time studying aptitude test questions both on GRE and SHL,and all this cost me real good money. While I got colleagues who spends their time chatting and eating all day. And you expect me to wish them success in labour market. Lol!
As much as I know it's not going to be easy out there, so also do I try to reduce the chances of it being too hard.

They say "Success is Pain....Ignorance is bliss".Make your choice.

Some of you who have typed here know you didn't prepare real good for the job.

I actually feel for the unemployed, and I pray my story will not turn the same, as your stories will turn to testimonies soon.

A little tip for the sharp guys..

If you don't want to stress yourself parading after you are done with ur registration and collected ur kits, until close of registration, do not change ur cloth to whites yet.

Just fresh up in the morning, wear ur normal cloth, carry ur file, and join the others that haven't registered.
