I built a news API by scapping news from the most popular Nigerian Forum, Nairaland(https://Nairaland.com), NLand api. I created it using puppeteer web scrapper, it's built with node/express and deployed to render instaed of cyclic due to its size

Next is recreating the clone itself by using the API to build a clone of the site, frontend - react deployed to netlify, backend- Node/express deployed to cyclic. https://NLand.netlify.app

this is quite easy, I can just copy the UI codes from the developers tool

What about the API, how easy is it?. The clone is a react app, copying the HTML from from dev tools is easy, what about the CSS and JavaScript, API call etc. Whilst, I never took it as a challenge, it's just to improve my web dev skills, and build my portfolio stronger aimed at attracting jobs
