@ Ikengawo

You are obviously a confused and a troubled soul and have cooked up silly statistics to flatter your ego.
News flash; no one here is fooled or as confused as yourself. So crawl back into the hole you came from. Come back here when you have got something sensible to write.

As long as he is brought to book. I seem to have this fantasy of spotting Ibori at some international airport after he has been declared wanted, and being the one to make the phone call to the authorities after which I stand and watch as over zealous pot bellied Nigerian police officers drop in from the glass roof and rough him up naija style before taking him into custody.
You watching too many 24/prison break grin

All lavour votes so far. Would be interesting to know why many foregners are alledged to support labour.

Also, again i ask how many of us would be voting on may 6? If we dont and we get a conservative govt or eg a BNP MP/councillor, it could make life miserable for immigrants/ethnic minorities.
PoliticsRe: Breaking News - Ibori's Investigator Attacked By Gunmen by snowdrops(m): 2:11pm On Apr 06, 2010
If members of the EFCC are being attacked, sad as it is, ironically means they are doing a proper job.
Its again better than seeing them living a cosy life working in a country like Naija.

The government needs to properly renumerate and compensate these brave individuals. A good fraction of recovered loot can be set aside to meet this cost.

I dont know who you are referring to. I have said times without number i am apolitical and dont support any of the mainstream political parties, and your best attempts to tie me with the disgraced PDP will never work.
PDP and AC are opposite halves of the same backside, twiddle dee twiddle dum. Their members in Edo state keep switching from one to the other party. Recycled materials. They head wherever money is. As AC is the current "come and chop party" is fashionably attractives to all decampees. The sooner all of the current lots of politicians are kicked out the better for the common man.

Foreign AffairsUk Election On May 6; With Polls by snowdrops(op): 12:53pm On Apr 06, 2010
British prime minister Gordon Brown today announced May 6 as polling day. His party the Labour party is behind in most opinion polls to rivals the conservative party. The latter look set to produce the next British PM come may 6.

The conservatives [Tories] have a reputation of being the nasty party due to unfavourable records on discrimination against minorities. They have stated their intention on putting a limit to the number of immigrants to britain. Critics have called this unworkable. This if passed can make life more difficult for would be migrants from Nigeria, and we would need to wait for any impact on Nigerian temporary residents here. Other fringe parties such as UKIP, BNP and the Green party have also made significant strides.

PS; i wonder how many Nigerians in UK are registered to vote. And if so who would you vote for. There are up to 1 million Nigerians in the Uk [legal/illegal, direct/indirect descendants] and thats constitutes a good number of the voting public. I am creating a poll for nairalanders in the UK so we can get a feel of which party we want at 10 Downinf street in the next parliament.

Its about quality of life for the common man on the streets and not billions of dollars in earnings/investments that never filter down anyway.

Nigeria is not that bad, afterall we only have massive unemployment, insecurity [ie armed robbery, kidnapping, assassinations, 419, ethnic/religious cleansing, toothless law enforcement], corruption, poverty, poor infracstructure[electricity, water, bad roads], and anarchy.

Please be comfortable in this backwardness while other countries march forwards. Continue wallowing in denial.
