Travel / Re: Nigerian With Permanent US Resident, Almost Denied Entry To Visa Free Country by Snowmusic: 6:12pm On Sep 25, 2023 |
You are a man of double standard. Nigeria visa free eligible countries has nothing to do with your green card and green card does not allow you to travel to any country without visa. These are two separate issue. Yes, we all know Nigeria passport does not have much value at the international or global level and this is not about Tinubu in any way.... We have been suffering that since the day of John the Baptist sir. Even with your permanent status in USA , you still need visa to enter Canada which is your land locked/nearest country. Don't mislead us here! |
Politics / Re: Twitter, Facebook, Youtube And Others Should Be Regulated In Nigeria Or Banned by Snowmusic: 5:31pm On Aug 11, 2023 |
I believe what needs to be regulated on all social media platforms is NEWS from un-licensed individual spreading fake news. Let the MAIN media stream do their job. By that ,Govt can easily monitor there information and sources of info. Other than that, influencers and creators should be allowed to make their money in the social media. Nigerians generate revenues on those platforms. 1 Like |

TemplarLandry: I see CANADA has also passed Media Act Bill that prohibits all news streams , content creators/pages on news and related active TOTALLY on facebook. Same should be implemented in Nigeria. We need to STOP social Media misinformation in NIGERIA. |

BEANSANDBREAD00: WHAT IF it is blessing in disguise. Employer mostly do not put exact salary amount on indeed advert. Maybe the HR just fill amount to complete form? What happen to your bargaining power if deemed qualified? Have you reached the company? Moreover, not all interviews are necessary job offer.. but they do contribute to applicant confident and improve on skills needed to a successful job interview. The more interview a job seeker does, it more he or she improves. |

Politics / Re: Can The Poor Survive On 8,000 Naira Monthly? by Snowmusic: 3:29pm On Jul 19, 2023 |
jmoore: Yes, individual family I met ... 12million families , 60 Million indirectly individuals. There is no amount govt can share that will ever meet the needs of people based the fact that things are extremely difficult in Nigeria. what the govt actually did was to divide the $800, 000 by 12Million but came out to be very little. They need to do something extraordinary. |
Politics / Re: How Did Tinubu Arrived At 12 Million Poor And Low-income Households’ In Nigeria? by Snowmusic: 3:24pm On Jul 19, 2023 |
progoh: It is not 130millions homes, it is 130 million Nigerians. Remember our population is around 220M , so it can not be 130M homes. However, the NBS said we have 43Million household in Nigeria and part of those household is 12M that are extremely poor...the poor of the poorest. They also mentioned Nigeria household is average 5.6 persons if i remember which translate to indirect impact of 60 million. However, based on the President order, the 8000k is now suspended to be reviewed.. Finger Crossed. |
Politics / Re: ‘Is It For Groundnuts?’ — Atiku’s Aide Dismisses Tinubu’s ₦8k Relief Plan by Snowmusic: 10:23pm On Jul 14, 2023 |
ladididanlami: If this money is a joke and a peanut to an individual/anyone, then, he or she is not among the poor the money is met for. Imagine how a sincere or authentic poor man will be happy if he receives such alert. Subsidy is not for everyone around the world unfortunately. The only concern is getting the cash to the right individual, the extremely poor people of Naija land. That is my concern |
Politics / Re: How Did Tinubu Arrived At 12 Million Poor And Low-income Households’ In Nigeria? by Snowmusic: 3:56pm On Jul 14, 2023 |

Politics / Re: Can The Poor Survive On 8,000 Naira Monthly? by Snowmusic: 3:30pm On Jul 13, 2023 |
jmoore: You forgot that the money is not met to feed but rather subsidize transportation cost of low income earners. Meaning , whatever the fuel subsidy removal creates burdens to such family, the 8k will be able to at least relieve them. So it is let to each individual to use the money as deemed fit where they are hit most. After all, they have some form of earnings without the relieve. 2 Likes |
