Gastric bypass surgery: a procedure whereby a channel is created to bypass your stomach such that foods are not stored there thus minimal nutrients are absorbed while majority is excreted in faeces Bulimnia nervosa : well basically STARVING yourself Post prandial Induction of vomiting : induce vomiting few minutes after eating. I don't recommend any of these. For the surgery, well all risks of surgery are there; U could die right there on the table amongst others. Other conditions are also risky. EXERCISE is the safest with many health benefits. |
Personally I think Jonathan would not have done too badly if not for these boko haram guys trying @ all cost to disrupt his government. To be fair on Jonathan, the security issues in Nigeria dates as far back independence, there's always been religious crises and it has remained unresolved even throughout the Obasanjo era evident by the various riots in Jos. The reason why I didn't join the bandwagon of tongue lashing the president on his travel to Brazil is dis; it is obvious that Boko Haram are just out there to make headlines, cause disarray and total stalemate in the administration of this nation it would be a wrong move for the president to cancel his trip, giving boko haram more power and highlighting their relevance and this could backfire especially considering the fact that the government has almost no plan to tackle them just yet. |
Mental fight, emotional fight, and seduction are cool, But physical fights wtih blows, slaps , infliction of injuries! Dat is taking it too far |

Kai! Na wao. So Mr Farouk Lawan who would have passed as one of the few sane left. this will rubbish the whole subsidy probe report. Doomsday. IMO nothing meaningful will come out of the whole bribery scandal, and even the subsidy report. |
I was part of a clique , every other person wanted medicine...I didn't want to be left behind. |
Things are just not right in Nigeria. So what happens now? If the doctors are not paid the full salary whhere does the money go? Stolen, given to Godfathers. I get surprised and agitated whenever the government finds it difficult to pay workers so and so amount. These politicians are paid far better than the populace and still steal much more. I'm surprised at the sentiments some pple here have against doctors, truth is this kind of mass action is what Nigerian government needs. |
In my area, we could as much as 3weeks or 4 without light, and when it comes it barely lasts an hour. It is that bad. I think as we wake everyday aftEr praying for ourselves and our loved ones, all Nigerians should just rain curses on our leaders. May God punish them for making life unbearable for citizens and stealing our money |
There isn't a thing wrong with this, the oil companies do all the work, the drilling, take all d risks including kidnapping and develop tHe communities. This is just a fair deal. And remember that all the oil companies in the upstream sector(shell, chevron, mobil etc) in Nigeria share this 18billion naira from whence they pay all their workers(which mostly are nigerians by d way)while d govt takes a whooping 25billion. |
U pple shuldnt be making an issue out of grammar. There are real issues to be dealt with. But just to clear the air, the use of the word by the govt isn't inappropriate. Palliation in medicine is d treatment given to relieve specific unavoidable symptoms of a particualar disease especially when the patient has an incurable disease e.g. Administration of pain relieving drugs in a patient with terminal stage Cancer.I.e. Palliation is aimed ap the symptom only. In this context, the disease is d "removal of the subsidy" and the unavoi dable symptom is d price hike in goods and services.therefore the govt palliative measures are targeted at easing d struggles associated with the price-hike. |
