Felicity0001: I personally domt think Dru will comeback to nairaland again, among many reasons I'll only state one sarcastically.
Give yourself a two weeks break from nairaland or let the mods ban you say for like 7days, you would have noticed NL adds little or no value to you rather a total waste of resource, time and energy which you've profited you more had you invested those same time, resource and energy on something else.
In a nut shell, dru isn't coming back because it doesnt cost anything to create another other moniker.
Same reason is behind my erratic presence here if not for the mentions, hineatly? I don't know. Good you found that out, good for you man. |

ncnerio: Okay so Uber ban me for the second time and said no chance of appealing. First was late last year according to them my fone was not compactable this time around I believe it due cancellation cos the distance I kept getting for pickup is absolutely just crazy and when I decline to pick my cancellation rate jump sometimes as high as 4point and even wen I do pick just so it doesn't go up it reduce by just one point. Minus 32% now before lock down I was at 7. Done all back and forth der refuse changing dia mind. I get like 11kplus with Dem and that was due to a rider that took me round town for like 10 hours plus that day don't even know if that why I was block cos the guy never update trip said it was his boss paying no issue an. Hope am getting paid sha cos have not gotten alert and I want to believe it because of the public holiday? I would like to believe Uber are a responsible company and would pay you. Whats the model of the mobile device you were using and how did they find out? |

peeps4u: Uber/bolt takes it's commission from your card trips. In case you are having only cash trips, uber's/bolt's will keep being counted against you, you will see how much you're owing them on your app. Any time you have a card trip, the commission will be taken from the card trip. If you have credit left on that card trip, it will be credited to you, but if the card trip still can't cancel the debt, your debt remains whatever left after the card trip amount is deducted from the debt.
If your debt is getting uncomfortably high for you, you may pay them to their bank accts to cancel your debt.
Hope my story was clear and helpful a lil enough?
Good day. Thanks a lot, fully understood. Best of luck man. |

InfinityEstates: Oga go for training, and if you already have, go for retraining... One thing that would never change on nairaland is people being eager to show off their level of smartness an knowledge which often turns out to be a deep abundance of stupidity. Now let me ask you these Oga. Must I be part of something before I understand their basic modes of operation? Did I quote you with the question? If it seemed silly to you or you don't fully understand, why not act mature and educated, ignore it. It's not right to always open your mouth, especially if not being directly spoken to. ....and yes, there's an ongoing internal strike; NASU, and there's Nationwide strike; ASUU. Honestly, if you had ended your earlier post with the last sentence here. I would have just quoted you with words of appreciation. But the sarcasm was so overdone, I didn't understand whether you were giving a positive reply or not. I knew these bodies were on strike but I was of the opinion they had ended it, hence I added atm behind my question. For what its worth, thank you. |

Dru23, I had to quote you when you addressed all Nigerian insurance companies as scams. I felt offended by that comment as I work in Leadway and this is the first reaction I get from most people. The truth is that most of the time, these people have had no direct dealings with these companies but are merely repeating what A told them happened to B they never met. It is a recurring issue that upsets me a lot as I like dealing with facts and figures, not stories they told me.
Now, someone with that mindset that comes across your post believes he or she has more confirmation to a story they have heard all too often.
I am sincerely sorry about what happened to your vehicle, it is really difficult to keep up with this thread buh I saw somewhere where you appeared to be making peace with the said driver in question. That is mature of you - as I would expect. I hope this situation has taught you a lesson and you take future precautions by insuring your vehicle next time. Best of luck. |

OlaSalo: Did you just arrive from Wuhan? oh...I guess so. After months of total lockdown, they finally let you guys out...and that's why you're asking if there's an ongoing strike Is this meant to be a joke or a stunt? Oga, you should have left my post if you could not give a reasonable answer. Some pipu would just come online and be showing their stupidity since there was still a little left from their daily interactions. Fucking keyboard warriors. |
