No reason was publicly offered for Mr Tinubu’s snob of the opportunity to share his plans with Nigerians via a live broadcast. However, the former Lagos governor was spotted at the birthday party of his associate, retired colonel Sani Bello, some 6.4 km (an eight-minute drive) from the venue.

Mr Tinubu’s absence from the town hall meeting is the latest in his series of purposeful boycotts of public gatherings aimed at engaging directly with candidates for public office.

The absence of the former Lagos governor has sparked widespread public outrage.

His prior performances had sparked concerns about his health and ability to manage the country in 2023 and beyond. Given the low ratings that Mr Tinubu’s public relations stunts have earned him, his aides have kept him out of public scrutiny.

His Excellency Peter Obi made a serious error being at the Presidential Debate. Tinubu snubbed the Debate and Atiku sent his Vice Presidential Candidate. It was a master stroke to show downgrade the debate as second rate. Obi, should have just stood up and announce that he won't be debating with Vice Presidential Candidates. He is too nice and despite public support for him, he might loose because of this.

He should have walked out and tell the organizers that he will only debate with Presidential candidates.

Baby girl, it's like ur parents buy those Indomie noodles u eat regularly. Ask them how much a carton of super pack was sold for in May 2015,then ask them how much they buy it now.
The difference u get is just a measure of the destruction the Tinubu-led evil party,APC dealt on the Nigerian economy. Now when u factor in the high cost of food stuffs, diesel/petrol pump price, high exchange rate, unemployment, insecurity etc then u will realize that we don't have time to play games as a nation.

In Anambra, he succeeded in blocking off a lot of leakages, and cut down the cost of governance.
More taxes started going directly into the government purse, rather than into the purses of highly-placed individuals.
The IGR of Anambra increased under Peter-Obi, not just because he widened the tax-net,, but because he blocked-off a lot of the leakages.

The workers in Anambra State started becoming productive. All those redundant and unproductive methods of doing “work” became obsolete in the State. He brought in productiveness into the system. He also started using locally-sourced vendors from amongst the people to supply goods and services to the Government,, (and he never towed the line of giving such contracts to the same “cronies” within the Government which he might have brought in into the Government. He didn't even bring in his “cronies” in his Government to start with.)
For the first time in Anambra State, Local Contractors got contracts without paying any sort of kickbacks.

He was doing frequent audience phone-in programs on television and radio. People called to ask questions. And he answered all of them, or noted them..
Even recently, with the way he always made himself available to be questioned and interviewed by the mainstream media.., and his recent interaction with citizens on Zoom, it shows that we can always reach him. We have ways of getting him to answer our direct questions.
