Only exemplary thing about EA is that it was reclaimed from the ocean.... As for the city itself, its nothing spectacular or unusual to other new developments around Africa

6 wins, 3 draws & just 1 defeat in 10 games for Ralf Rangnick but media pushing the line that he’s struggling. Conte has 9/3/3 but apparently he has steadied the ship & is lauded. I don't know the agenda against United.

Danielnino00:
Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen.
Sequel to my post yesterday where I expressed my intention to take over the responsibility of organising the annual Nairaland Nigeria Football award as requested by Icon4s this year, I'm glad to announce that the award would go ahead as planned, and I'll be coordinating it with Drklever.

Three people from this thread will join the nomination committee alongside me and Drklever, with icon4s being a honorary member.

On this note, members of the thread are to nominate 3 monikers they wish to be part of the committee. Unlike how it was previously done where we would nominate only one moniker, I suggest we nominate 3 each so as to make it more flexible and have more people nominated.
Here's how the nomination selection will be sorted;
3 points would be awarded to the first name nominated, 2 points to the second and 1 point to the last.
Example: I nominate Danielnino00, Drklever and icon4s. in this case, Danielnino00 will have 3 nomination point, Drklever will have 2 and icon4s will have 1.
At the close of the nomination process, the 3 monikers with the most points will be added to the committee. Any moniker that's selected to the committee but doesn't wish to participate for any reason whatsoever will be replaced by the another one from below the top 4.
Nomination starts now and close on Monday, December 27th 2021.

Thank you.

Cool.

This is 2011 - 10yrs ago.

Firstly, before I corrected you, you had marked the construction zone. You all suddenly shifted the goal post to those two stretches where you see the extension of Unpaved road.

Accept you were wrong.
that means it's worst now because from the picture you posted it is equivalent to earth road. Unless the picture you posted is not recent or there're massive road construction on all Nairobi Street now cool

Secondly what I said is inner street and I still maintain that till now

Yes, I did that to prove a point. And you've proved yourself wrong on your previous submission - "that section is unpaved".

One rule of a fair debate is to drop a google map of a place and prove that that same place is doing worse or better than the other. What you're doing, is ignorantly posting random outdated images to disapprove your previous point. But you don't want to bring the same locality in your city we compare then contrast. cool
can you prove this. Because I played by your rules cool

I am talking about the inner streets not the space or road alongside the bridge. It is obvious the inner streets is either earth road or bad road. Clarify me on this.

I really don't know where you're getting these pics. As of 2011, this place was like this. You said that section is unpaved, did you?

Secondly, it's evidently clear that the tarred road we're seeing is not there as of 2021, they were removed due to its ramshackle state. New streets are coming up.

First thing first, we need to accept that Google map images are old. NMS, came into leadership with changes. One of the agendas being to recapet all run-down roads. As we're speaking, 70% of the roads within Nairobi have been recarpeted.

Streets in Nairobi don't share names. If it's crossway, it's crossway. I believe that section has been unpaved to open room for neat streets. I believe construction activity is underway.
first thing first you introduced Google map to the discussion and you provided the picture i used.

And what I said earlier is either the inner streets is earth road or bad road. So far it is proven I am right 100%.

Your image is not the most recent one. Your image was taken during groundbreaking activity just adjacent to that tree.

That road looks bad because of the activities taking place in that locality .
so it's safe to say I am right

We're talking about the road. And since the tree is just adjacent to it, it means the entire section is under road work activity. The surrounding is paved and neat. I gave you a clear pic. But with numerous activities, the road has been colored brown.
but my own image is the most recent one making what I said earlier about the road valid. Don't you see the road look bad?. That's why I asked whether that place is your CBD

Go and study the history of this tree. It was to be uprooted since it seats on the land of the expressway. But with the love of green space in the country, the tree was saved.
but my guy we're not talking about tree here

You don't need to leave in Nairobi to display this kind of ignorance. From google's image, the entire place is tarred. Calling it a bad road will not be fair enough.

Can you see where crossway is?
looking at that crossway critically. I still maintain what I said earlier
