Please, who has processed transcript from FUTA? I'm thinking of processing my hubby's transcript since he is reluctant to do that. I really don't know how to go about it.

We keep praying oo. I have my ECA and IELTS in the bag since February. I'm waiting for hubby to process his ECA and write IELTS to increase our score.

Praying for you. You are doing the right thing by starting the process. Don't worry, he will catch on later once he sees how much you have progressed.

Congratulations to you and your family. I'm really happy for you. Thank you so much for your help while I was frustrated about IELTS. I joined one of the IELTS class and it was an eye-opener for me. The tutor was selfless and ready to help (@travel bunny: she even called me the night before my test to encourage me). I'm really grateful. Today ILETS is history after 4 attempts and one remark (writing). I pray that Canada will favour you. You shall eat the fruit of the land.

Thank for all you do.

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by sokem: 12:45pm On Feb 02, 2019
I applied for remark via mail. I downloaded the EOR form, took the picture of the completed form with my phone and sent to their mail with evidence of payment (copied Idp Australia). Although, I havnt collected my TRV from their office at that time. I requested for remark of writing and speaking and my writing was upgraded. I had 8 in speaking already. A refund form was sent to my mail

venorite:
Quick question my people. If I remark my writing and listening and only one comes out positive, will I get a refund? And also, must I visit idp if I want to remark or can it be done online? And lastly, what’s the cost for remark. Pls help
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by sokem: 12:34pm On Feb 02, 2019
I applied on Dec 23,2018 and my EOR was ready on Jan 30,2019

bharbhyie:
How long did it take?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by sokem: 12:24pm On Feb 02, 2019
I'm glad that you want to rewrite. I only practiced more. I used ielts listening test samples on YouTube ( I think they are more difficult than the actual test). I also practiced on ieltsonlinetest.com. I do this everyday (atleast 3 listening test). While practising, I discovered that I mostly loss marks because of plural sound (e.g butterfly but the right answer is butterflies) so i started paying more attention to that. I started listening to CNN everyday after work and weekends. Their discussions became clearer to me gradually.

I must also say that thankfully, there was no map question(s) in the test where I had 8.5 in listening because I still can't get around with map in listening test.

Pray as well. You must testify.

quote author=Garnyangel post=75328860]Hello. Congrats. Pls I beg you in the name of God. What tips and strategies did you use for your listening? I have written my IELTS 4 times now and I have been getting 7 in my listening score. Please what strategies did you use to ace the test this time around? I want to write the 5th one by February 14. Pls I need your help on how to ace the listening. Thanks.[/quote]

I am thankful to God that today finally came. I have looked forward to the day I will also testify to success in IELTS exam. I received my EOR today and writing was changed from 6.5 to 7.

MOD Dec 1, 2018
Listening 8.5
Reading 9
Speaking 8
Writing 6.5 now 7

BC
I wrote ielts twice before this one:
October 28, 2017 L 6.5 R 5.5 S 7.5 W7 (i felt i was not good enough so I decided to stop)
November 10, 2018 L 7, R 6.5 S 7.5 W 6

I was encouraged by testimonies on this platform and i made up my mind that i wont stop until i make it.

GOD DID THIS FOR ME.

Rode20:
Congratulations to all who received ITA, PPR and COPR.

I will like to share my EOR experience with you all. My first Ielts on the 13 of October my result was LSRW 8,8,6.5,6 . while my second attempt on the 10 of November the result was LSRW 8.5, 6.5,7,7. I cried, because I was disappointed since my speaking result in my first attempt was 8 and now as low as 6.5. Actually on the test day when I noticed the examiner was a woman my heart skipped, cos as an HR personal I know female examiner's tend to be quite strict with another female. But quickly cleared the thought from my head and gave it my best. Unfortunately my speaking result was 6.5. So I immediately applied for an EOR copied Australia just as one of us did on this trend. To my Surprise after 10 days from when the EOR was acknowledged by MOD, I mailed IDP Australia to confirm they had received my EOR, the response was that it has not been sent contact your test center. I mailed MOD again they said it was sent but when I mailed Australia again they confirm it had not been received. I had mixed feelings and lost hope in the whole process. After some days IDP Australia confirmed they just received it close to 3 weeks after I applied for the EOR.

Just got a mail now that the outcome of my EOR was ready and my refund. So quickly checked online and saw the speaking had changed to 7.5. Am so excited now my result is LSRW 8.5, 7.5, 7, 7.

I will like to draw the attention of anyone applying for EOR once you are sure of yourself to please follow-up... I wonder if they ready had the intention of sending it to Australia in the first place
Could kindly share the idp australia email address. I will be requesting for a remark too.

cool you can also tailor your assessment so you have two options wink wink. NT should be alright since they are looking for people, start browsing jobs down now and take screenshots of them to show strong employement prospect.

I must say that this platform has equipped me with many information. Please i need your advice. I am planning to send my credentials for assessment but i'm confused. I have Bsc Mass Communication (4 year course) from a Private University and Msc in Human Resources Management from a UK University. I have 8 years work experience in Human Resources and i plan to apply for NT SUBCLASS 489 visa-Human Resources Adviser (This is the only option i found to be relevant to my present job role). Do you think my first degree could affect the assessment. I also have a professional qualification (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Nigeria). Will it add to my assessment.
