North Korea officially has maintained that there are no cases of novel coronavirus.

In what appears to be a rather drastic measure to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID 19), North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un allegedly sanctioned for the execution of the first North Korean patient tested positive for the deadly strain of the virus.

According to Secret Beijing, an anonymous social media commentator, who terms himself as an analyst on China affairs, the patient was shot dead. The story is still developing and there is still no clarity on the details of the patient executed by North Korea.

Bukayo Saka admitted he doubted he could play for Arsenal’s first team, given the array of stars in the Gunners squad.

The versatile player signed his first professional contract after turning 17, following impressive performances for the youth team.

The wing-back was then promoted to the senior team and made his debut for the Emirates Stadium outfit in their Europa League game against Vorskla Poltava back in November 2018.

Saka has since been a key figure for Arsenal and this season he boasts of three goals, his nine assists across all competitions is the most from any Gunners’ player this campaign.

The 18-year-old recollected how he started his journey to stardom, praising his Nigerian parents for their support.

“To be honest it all really started a long time before that. From the age of three or four I would be playing football at home in the garden with my dad, and my elder brother, Yomi,” he told the club website.

“I just enjoyed playing, but I don’t think I ever really thought I was going to make it to the first team until I actually signed my first professional contract when I turned 17.

“You go through the youth teams, year by year, and you see all these great players around you – some of them could be the best in the year – and slowly they are all let go, to other clubs or even stopping completely.

“So you could never be sure that you would make it, but what I said to myself is that I would always give my best in every single session. I always wanted to learn to get better, I always watched a lot of football to see how I could improve.

“But we had a big group at Hale End, and even though we had so many quality players, the coaches would always say, ‘Look around the dressing room, only maybe one or possibly two of you will make it to the first team one day.’

“We would look at each other and wonder who it would be. I was always determined for it to be me, and so I wanted to do whatever it took to achieve that.

“My mum and dad always encouraged me. They never stopped me from playing football, they just wanted to see a balance and that I was also interested in my education.”

The England U19 winger is eligible to play for the Super Eagles, given he has not featured for the Three Lions at the senior team.

Saka, who admitted back in December he is yet to decide on his international future, revealed he has visited Nigeria along with his parents.

“I was lucky enough to travel a lot when I was younger as well. Every year my mum and dad would take us away,” he continued.

“We went to Nigeria of course, where my mum and dad are both from, we went to Dubai, and to America a few times because my cousins live there. I remember going to Chicago and LA, and a few other places too.”

Saka will hope to play a key role when Arsenal take on take on Olympiakos in the second leg Round of 32 of their Europa League game on Thursday night.

unidentified woman has left her husband with a broken skull as a result of her burying her high heel shoes on in his skull while he was asleep.

The man was rushed to the intensive care unit in the early hours of Sunday after the incident.

Sources say the ugly incident took place over the night when the man was asleep.

Further details suggest the woman may have gone through her husband’s mobile device and found incriminating messages, leading to her attack on him.

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has been sued by her ex-husband Olakunle Churchill over her explosive interview in May 2019.

Olakunle Churchill who referenced the three-part YouTube series titled ‘The Evidence’ which was shared in May 2019, said his ex-wife accused him of being into cyber fraud popularly known as Yahoo Yahoo and also alleged that she caught him clad in a red cloth, surrounded by red candles with a laptop placed on his lap.

He also sought for legal redress against Tonto Dikeh over claim of his father being a gardener as she dispelled speculation of him being related to former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

In the lawsuit notice which has him as the 1st claimant and Big Church Foundation as the second claimant, Churchill stated that the allegations are baseless and sponsored to tarnish and damage his image and political ambition. He hinted on telling Tonto Dikeh about his intention to run for the House of Representatives in his constituency.

The series of malicious and fallacious allegations, assertions and accusations through media campaigns and publications by Tonto Dikeh and her charity group was defamatory.”

In the court summon which has gone viral, the actress was asked to appear for trial 14 days from December 10, 2019, as the court may proceed therein with judgment even in her absence.

An armed gang have kidnapped two medical doctors and a medical recorder in Benue state.

The incident occurred in Okpoga in Okpokwu local Government area of Benue south senatorial district.

The Nation reports that victims are all staff of General Hospital Okpoga.

They were ambushed and seized from their vehicles after they closed from duty on Saturday.

The abductors are yet to contact the families.

The Founder of the Evangelical Church of Yahweh Worldwide, Primate Theophilus Olabayo, has revealed what he claimed to have heard from God concerning the governorship election in Edo State and the 2023 presidential election.

Prophet Olabayo, whose number of prophesies had reportedly come to pass in recent times, said that the North will retain power beyond 2023.

The prophet, who notably predicted the death of Sani Abacha, Nigeria’s former Head of State and MKO Abiola, said a new political party will emerge and fizzle out the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, before the general elections.

Olabayo told The Sun that there will be series of political assassinations in Edo State, and warned the National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole to calm down.

“Power will remain in the North in 2023. We should not be fooling ourselves. All the money that politicians in the South West are spending in anticipation of winning the 2023 presidency will not go anywhere,” he said.

“Let them sit down and work for their people. The roads are bad and there is no infrastructure anywhere.”

Ahead of the election in Edo, he said, “Oshiomhole should calm down; all these braggadocio will not take him anywhere. What I am seeing is that political assassination will be so rampant in Edo State and people should watch.”

Speaking further on 2023, he added, “A new party will emerge; APC and PDP will fizzle out before 2023 because a new dawn is coming.

“God will raise people whose names have not been heard before in this country and they will raise the banner of this country. Truth will come out.”
