Let me explain something to you. The word "consumed" might not be the exact word to use in this context. If the war the FGN trying to push us into happens everybody in Nigeria will feel the heat. As at this moment Nigerian economy is dangling on a line without any clear or concrete plan on how to move it forward. Going into full war couple with the BH problem up North, my friend everybody will feel the heat either financially or otherwise. Loosing property will be the least of your problem, you will have other serious issues to grapple with. Yes using the word 'consume" in my initial post connotes that even Afonja will feel the heat.

So instead of insulting me, why dont you think about the implication of FGN outburst to a problem that could be solved peacefully.

Now you are talking like a real man...argument without sentiment/tribalism is what i like. We the poor masses will suffer the most. this corrupt set of politicians will pack their bags n leave whenever anything happens. We the youths should stage a nationwide protest to the Aso rock and demand from this people the direction which they are leading us. A blind man can see that we r on a brink of collapse and war...they are treating us all like fools. instead of engaging each other on social media, why can't we unite as one force and free ourselves from this modern slavery. * Presidency proposed to spend N904,015,000 for the acquisition of brand new automobile fleet?
*Ministry of Communication Technology proposed N585,000,000 for the purchase of chairs and N415,500,000 for the purchase of tables. My brother, the table are they made of gold?
*The general renovation of Aso Rock Guest House was proposed to cost N387,980,200, just as furnishing the rooms in the Guest House was put at N45million. Who is fooling who?
*Approximately 800million was budgeted for Aso rock medical center and yet none of them goes there for treatment.
Curiously, the presidency also proposed to spend N322,421,971 to link a cable to the drivers’ restroom at the presidential villa. Another N213,873,953 was proposed for linking of a cable from Guest House through generator house to the gate and N618,604,265 for the installation of electrical lighting and fittings at the villa, N371,733,964 for the installation of electrical distribution boards and other cables. In fact, I will suggest you take A revisit to 2016 budget, a.k.a #BudgetOfCorruption cos if I should continue I might run out of cyberspace.

I sometimes pity the way people like you think and criticize other peoples write up, going into details of the budget or how it went missing is what most if not every young Nigerian knows... In your wisdom and intelligent write up, you said the president 'proposed' ( put forward (a plan or suggestion) for consideration by
others) to spend the aforementioned figures in your write-up. This budget will pass through the senate before approval (I stand to be corrected). The issue of instability of power should have been a thing of the past in Nigeria by now, that's my point and you and I know that the only way to generate wealth for the country is dwindling.

If some of existing companies should expose how much they spend on power alone, you begin to wonder what then happens to their profit?

Where is the money to make power supply stable? The past governments should have improved on this issues when our crude still held value... They just compounded the situation of this country by looting the treasury.. Yet all we do is blame Buhari and his CHANGE theme, forgetting that the way to generate money to fix this country is no more (Crude oil).

Ppl don't really understand what is going on...let me explain a little....The only way we generate money in this country is through crude oil, and since the price of crude has dropped drastically what do you want Buhari to do? The PDP led government should have developed other sectors of the economy with all the money they embezzled, hence the problem now...don't just start talking gibberish without having the facts...To buttress your point what was the subsidy money for? Its just a sham a way for this PDP thugs to enrich themselves.
