Sports › Re: Messi’s Hamstring Injury Raises World Cup Concerns by Solofresh2: 9:02am On May 26
Father Time is undefeated. And he is tapping Messi on the shoulder. At 38, a hamstring is not just a muscle. It is a warning. The body is telling Messi what it has been telling every athlete before him: you are not invincible.
Argentina without Messi is like a Ferrari without an engine. It looks good, but it is not going anywhere.Messi has defied age longer than almost anyone. But eventually, the body says no. This may be the beginning of that no.Messi will play. But the Messi we see in the World Cup may not be the Messi we remember. Hamstrings do not lie
Politics › Re: How Did APC Record More Votes In Primaries Than In 2023 Elections? by Solofresh2: 8:58am On May 26
Because primaries are controlled by the party. General elections are controlled by the people.
In a primary, the party decides who votes. In a general election, the people decide who votes. One is a private party. The other is a public contest. They are not the same.
A party primary can be inflated. General elections are harder to fake.
In Enugu, Tinubu got 4,772 votes in 2023. In the 2026 primary, he got 383,382. That is an 8,000% increase. In a state where he is not popular. That is not mobilization. That is manipulation. The party registered 12 million members and linked them with NIN. But NIN does not stop multiple voting in a primary. It only confirms identity — not that the person voted only once.
The primary numbers are inflated. They always have been. The question is not how APC got more votes. The question is why anyone is surprised.Nigerian politics is a game of numbers. The party controls the primary. INEC controls the general election (mostly). One is easier to manipulate than the other. That is the difference.
Tinubu can win a primary in his sleep. Winning a general election when Nigerians are suffering is another matter entirely. The primary numbers are not real. They are a show of force. A flex. But the general election is where the real test begins.
In Nigeria, the party that controls the electoral commission controls the election. But even INEC cannot turn 4,772 votes into 383,382 in a general election. That is the difference between a primary and the real thing.
Foreign Affairs › Re: US Military Says It Has Launched New Strikes On Southern Iran by Solofresh2: 8:51am On May 26
The US is striking Iran while talking to Iran. That is not peace. That is war with a smile. The US is fighting Iran with one hand and shaking hands with the other. That is not diplomacy. That is domination disguised as negotiation. The US is not defending itself. It is projecting power. The 'self-defense' excuse is the same one used in every war.The US is striking now because Iran is weak and disorganized. The Supreme Leader is in hiding. His father was killed. Communication is broken. The US is punching down.Iran cannot afford to look weak. They will respond. The question is when and how hard. The US wants Iran to surrender without a fight. Iran will not

War is not about peace. It is about power. The US is not fighting for freedom. It is fighting for oil, for influence, and for control of global shipping routes.

You just wan increase men hunger this afternoon with those photos angry

Anyways,i support her . It seems the guy is a Yahoo boy angry. Cuz na Dem dey see every looseguarding as a win-win to Dem. Imagine dating a man who take pleasure in taking advantage of others mistakes.
Calling a man a 'Yahoo boy' for keeping ₦500 that a waiter mistakenly undercharged him is a reach. A Yahoo boy steals. This man did not steal. He simply did not correct an error in his favor. The waiter made a mistake. The restaurant will survive. The man saved ₦500. That is not fraud. That is life
A man who keeps a waiter's error is not a Yahoo boy. He is a man who understands that the world does not reward unnecessary honesty. The restaurant would not have paid him ₦500 if the waiter had overcharged him. So why should he pay them?
Romance › Re: She Broke Up With Him Because Of ₦500 by Solofresh2: 8:15am On May 21
wildcatter23:
RELATIONSHIP IS NOT FOR THE WEAK🤦🤦

I went to a restaurant this evening to get food for my girlfriend.

After getting the food and just as I was about to leave, I saw two lovers arguing.

I asked the girl what the issue was, and she explained that they had also come to get food.

Their bill was supposed to be ₦8,300, but the waiter mistakenly charged them ₦7,800, which the guy paid.

As they were about to leave, she noticed the mistake and told her boyfriend to go back and pay the remaining balance, but he refused.

That disagreement eventually led to their breakup.

Is that enough to warrant a breakup?

What do you guys think?

Was the lady loyal to the guy?
The lady was not loyal. She was testing him. And he passed the test — by refusing to be a fool.
The waiter made a mistake in their favor. Any sensible person would keep quiet and leave. She chose to make it an issue. That is not loyalty. That is control.
He saved ₦500. That is not theft. That is a waiter's error. She wanted him to prove his 'good character' by paying extra. He refused. Good for him.
A woman who breaks up with a man over ₦500 was looking for an exit. The ₦500 was just an excuse. If she loved him, she would have said 'thank you for the food' and left. Instead, she chose to fight over a waiter's mistake. She did him a favor by leaving

Family › As A Father, Learn To Get Closer To Your Daughters For Your Own Good by Solofresh2(op): 9:29am On May 16
Good morning nairaland Fathers, trust you all are doing well.
I have an advice for you as a father and I would like you take it serious.
If you notice well, you will realize that men always tend to favour their mothers at old age. Some will even abadon their fathers totally because they believe he is a man like them. Some of you who are fathers now can relate to what am talking about and tomorrow you will expect your male kids to look out for you at old age as well abi😏
Well, normally as a man, you should be able to plan well for your future but then again, anything can happen at anytime even though we don't pray for bad things to happen.
So, my point is, you see those daughters of yours, make a good relationship with them because they are the only ones that can have you in mind in the future.Forget all the women this, women that.Women actually care much for their kids and their fathers except they don't have a good relationship with their fathers. They tend to have this pity for their fathers. As men tend to favour their mothers, women tend to favour their fathers too.check well.
Make a good relationship with your daughter even if her mother is spoiling your image around her.Make her understand your struggles and how you strive to take good care of her and she will always remember you

Feel free to share your thoughts on this matter

Romance › Stop Simping Around Women — A Message To My Brothers by Solofresh2(op): 9:22am On May 15
I used to simp. I gave my time, money, and attention to a woman who never gave anything back. I learned the hard way.

Simping is self-destruction. It drains your money, your peace, and your self-respect. Women don't respect men who beg for attention.

How to stop: Value yourself. Be scarce. Never give without receiving. Build your life first.

If you're simping right now, stop. You're not losing her — you're losing yourself.

Share your experience below. Let's help each other wake up.

Oga, money wey no reach you no reach you.Humans are not the same and our standards of living are not the same. Some people spends so much on food, some clothes, partying etc, while some people spend on all and still have something good to save, and this is because they have more than enough for themselves irrespective of their jobs or source of income

Everything about them centers around emotional and financial manipulation.
I always say it that if you must marry, marry that girl that Loves you far more than you express yours. No matter how ugly she is, marry her provided she has a lot to offer.

Any day you marry that GirL you always KNEEL to plead and pacify per second per second, you will suffer the 10 plagues of Egypt.
If you land a slay demon you will suffer for the rest of your Life. Avoid Slay Queens.
Good GirLs are out there
Those girls you call good,if they have the opportunity and resources to slay, you think they won't ? grin
Just marry a lady that respects and admire you far better and the funny thing is, women can't keep emotions,if they like you they will show it even though some won't tell you directly

You ignored good women that needed attention but chose to parley with women already under the care of another man using your celebrity status just to maintain your social standing. Now other men with possibly higher social status or libido is attracting your societal woman and you feel you don't deserve that. You really deserved more. But being your fellow who might fall for what you fell to, I can only say, sorry oh.
This is what I have always been saying .Some people think having status and money will make a woman committed.Women are in for business. They don't love. You can only attract them with what you have or your look but those things fades. They are material things. The ones who will leave you for someone better to them will leave and the one that will stay will stay because they have nowhere to go
