Romance › Re: Money Is Not The Prize — The Man Is by Solofresh2(op): 9:34pm On Jul 10 |
Mariangeles: Okay. Money is a tool, and the man with the tool is the prize, because without the tool, a man cannot achieve much. A man with the tool calls the shot.
Let me tell you a story about a guy:
This guy, his grandfather left him a big piece of land to build on when he's capable. So, because the land was in a choice area, men with money kept coming for the land, to buy it. They kept making mouthwatering offers [even going through backdoors], but the man refused because of what his grandfather had told him. He took it as an assignment.
Guess what: when the guy made money, he fenced and built a house on that land in less than a year, and that finally put a stop to people coming for the land.
Aim to have the tool, because without it, you will be oppressed by men like you. And that tool is money 💰💰💰 You are right that money is a powerful tool. The man in your story used it wisely. But the tool did not make him a man — he was already a man. The tool helped him build. That is the difference. The man is still the prize. The tool is just what he uses. A man with money but no frame is still a resource. A man with frame but no money is still a leader. A man with both is unstoppable. But if you have to choose one, choose frame — because money can be regained, but respect cannot |
Romance › Money Is Not The Prize — The Man Is by Solofresh2(op): 8:02pm On Jul 10 |
Hello fellow nairalanders, I came across a thread by dbull which I need oppose. https://www.nairaland.com/8706180/until-make-money-man-never#139970208There is a growing belief that a man's value is tied to his wallet. That until he can provide, he cannot be seen as a man. That money makes him the prize. This is a lie. Money is a tool. It is not a man. A man with money but no character is still a weak man. A man without money but with discipline, frame, and purpose is still a man worth respecting. The prize is not the wallet. The prize is the man who carries it. Point 1: Money Attracts — Character Keeps A man with money can attract women. But money attracts women who want money. It does not attract women who want him. A man with character attracts women who want him — whether he has money or not Money can open doors. But only character can keep people inside. Point 2: Money Can Be Lost — Character Cannot A man can lose his money overnight. A business can fail. A job can end. An economy can collapse. If his value is tied to his money, he becomes worthless the moment he loses it. But a man with character — discipline, frame, integrity — cannot lose that. Even if he has nothing, he still has himself. That is true value. A man who ties his worth to his money will never be secure. A man who ties his worth to his character will never be shaken. Point 3: Money Without Frame Is Just a Resource A man with money but no frame will be used. He will be drained. He will be seen as a provider — not a partner. He will give and give, and still be disrespected. A man with frame — even with little money — will be respected. He will not be used. He will not be drained. He will not be taken for granted. A man with money and no frame is a wallet with legs. A man with frame and no money is a king in waiting. Point 4: A Man Is Not Defined by His Wallet A man is defined by his word. His discipline. His ability to lead. His ability to walk away. His ability to build. His ability to protect. These cannot be bought. They must be earned. And they are worth more than any amount of money. Money can buy comfort. It cannot buy respect. And without respect, a man is not a man — he is just a source. Money is not the prize. The man is the prize. And a man is not defined by what he has — but by who he is. Do not let anyone convince you that your wallet determines your worth. Your character, your frame, your discipline, and your integrity are what make you a man. Money is just a tool. You are the prize. |
Romance › Re: Until You Make Money As A Man, You Are Never The Prize!! by Solofresh2: 7:46pm On Jul 10 |
Iamdbull: I see a lot of men deceiving and lying to themselves by calling themselves the prize especially the broke ones, but sorry to break it you, until you make enough money and you can provide and cater for the needs of a woman you can't be perceived as a nman and you might have to bend your knees for things to work out!
Unfortunately the country we found ourselves men have been robbed of this privilege of making enough to have control of the opposite sex.
So the question is how can we change this ? How can we make money? The only hope the country has left for young men now is yahoo, sporty, newsspend•com or doing unskilled work where one is grossly underpaid!
Mann we can't continue like this money is a must!! You are 60% right — but you are also wallowing in defeat. Money is important. But money without character is just a rich fool. And poverty without ambition is just a waiting game. The economy is hard. But hard does not mean impossible. Men have risen from worse. The question is not 'how can I make money?' The question is 'what am I willing to build?'" |

Romance › Re: The Real Reason Women Move On So Fast After Breakups Will Piss You Off by Solofresh2: 7:10pm On Jul 01 |
Samantha125: Why would you want a bitter ex that'll be dragging the breakup for months, if not years?
My husband's ex didn't invest anything financially in his life, but she dragged their breakup for years... I got beaten, poisoned, and even once found myself behind bars because of her, my husband also nearly got into trouble all thanks to her... That lady really properly dealt with us, she taught me a lesson I'll never forget... The original post is not entirely wrong. But it is incomplete. Financial investment is not the only thing that ties a woman to a man. Emotional investment, ego, pride, and possessiveness can be just as powerful and sometimes more dangerous. A woman who loves you will fight. A woman who loves you and feels replaced will burn the world down — with or without financial investment. |
Romance › Re: The Real Reason Women Move On So Fast After Breakups Will Piss You Off by Solofresh2: 7:06pm On Jul 01 |
Pukkalolo: The day my first girlfriend left me, I thought my world had ended.
After one small argument, she sent the cold text: “I’m no longer interested.”
Just like that. Relationship over… Ah
I was shattered. I couldn't eat. I couldn't sleep. I walked around like a dead man for months.
But do you know what truly destroyed me?
She moved on like I never existed. Like, within days this girl was already posting new guys on her status… smiling, laughing, looking happy and refreshed. While I was there dying in emotional pain.
So I went online to search: “Why do women move on faster than men after a breakup?”
The two answers I found sounded smart:
#1. “She already broke up with you emotionally long before she left you.”
#2. “Women cry freely, talk to friends/family about it, and process their feelings faster.”
I believed that nonsense.
Until life proved it wrong with real experience.
After dealing with more women, I discovered the uncomfortable truth:
She moved on so easily because she never invested anything serious in me.
Especially FINANCIALLY.
Think about it.
If a woman was spending her own money on you… paying for things, investing in your life, giving you financial support…do you think she would bounce back like nothing happened?
Hell No.
She would be in serious pain. She would probably even drag the breakup for months or years, constantly reminding herself, “After all I did for this guy…”
But when she has zero financial investment? She walks away light. Zero losses. Off to the next simp...
Imagine a sinking ship.
The people who panic, fight, cry, and do everything possible to save it are the ones who put their money into it: THE INVESTORS.
The passengers who just bought a ticket? They simply jump into the next available boat with zero sorrow. They lose nothing.
Your relationship is that ship.
If she never invested real money in it… then to her, the relationship is just a cruise. Nice while it lasted. When turbulence comes, she jumps ship easily and boards the next one with fresh excitement.
Be wise brothers… The post is correct that a woman with no investment walks away easily. But the deeper truth is,she was never really yours ,because she was never really invested. A woman who invests her time, her emotions, and her loyalty will mourn your loss even if she never spent a kobo on you. If she walked away without a scratch, she was never truly in it Watch what she invests Time, emotion, money all matter Do not be the only one giving If you are the only one investing, you are the one who will hurt Do not confuse her presence with her investment She can be there without being invested If she walks away easily, she was never really there Her absence is your clarity |
