I waited to be sure that she was actually crying, the sniffing continued and so I decided to walk up to her and apologize. But then I stopped and decided against it, this could just be the perfect breaking point for us both, I could use this as the Avenue to finally walk away from her for good, but deep inside me I know I will always return back to her, I can't help it and it's so obvious she can't too. My apology will surely bring us closer and I do not know how she might react - by hugging, kissing or something else.
I got over my thoughts and walked towards her, I touched her shoulders and didn't get my hands shoved back, that meant something. I gently turned her around and held her chin up because her head was lowered.
" I am sorry about that.... It's just that I am tired of all these talk of ancient things and stuff. I only wanted revenge, and if I had known that killing George would have adverse effects, I will gladly have allowed someone else do the killing. Now, I just want to be with my family and be the best husband I can be, but unfortunately I can't seem to have that, instead I get scared because I fear that some of my wolves won't see their prom night or one of the women dear to me might die trying to help stop what was never her business. I am sorry if you found what I said offensive. "
She didn't say anything, she just kept her eyes from looking at me but after a while, she took my hand and kissed them, before saying,

" Alright, let me not keep you here for much longer, I actually summoned you here to give you a warning. "
Surprised, I asked,
" What will that be? "
" The Last time you were here after having an encounter with Anthea, I felt a remnant of her powers within you and I have looking at her her make-up and possible plans. She said there was gonna be a war and if truly they might, then you have to be afraid, William. "
" Why? "
" It's just a thought but I think since she has both creatures living in here, she might likely create beings just like her, those creatures might not be as strong as you but will surely be stronger than your wolves. Remember you are stronger than the Vampires because when Anthea bit your Parents, the bite had a bit of vampire venom in them, it's extremely difficult to completely remove properties of one trait from the other but you have also grown in power because I have been feeding you of late. If she does something like this, which I think she might, you will surely be at her mercy and that might force you to give in to her demands to save your wolves and family, and of course you will be unable to release me, making it the perfect plan, a very feasible plan. By the way, you have to warn your witch to be careful and reduce the amount of time she spends outside your house, she will be the first target if Anthea plans to strike, because she is the only one strong enough apart from you to take on those wolves."
I was taken aback by such thinking and pondered on what she said and I couldn't help but agree with her. If Anthea does have such plans in mind then we shouldn't be celebrating at all, because while we merry, our enemy is busy planning and perfecting her the Evil she has in mind.
" Brilliant thought, very brilliant, you are right, she might just tow this path. So what do have in mind we can use to counter such moves. " my complements brought a smile to her face.
" You have to make sure that's her exact plan, therefore you must find a way to make her say it, only then can you start preparing against it. When you are quite sure, I will do my best to teach you how to counter her plans. Go now and celebrate while you still can. "
She said, I smiled and hugged her one more time before taking my leave.
I got Up to find Angel sleeping beside me, when did she move me back to position because I didn't feel it while in Ollie's prison. I took my shower and headed into the living room. The house was all messy and the kids slept in every available space in the house, they were all completely wasted.
I was able to wake them all up and asked them to clean up before leaving, thanking them after they were done and helped them in leaving the house. When they were gone, I headed for the kitchen where I found Angel,
" Had another meeting with your goddess again? " That was her good morning,
" Yeah, I suppose I did. We talked about Anthea and the possibility of another war. "
" she couldn't find a better time to summon you but just when you were celebrating with your family, that's if we are to call ourselves that. Sometimes, I think you care for her more than you do us. "
That last sentence got me pissed, how dare her utter such,
" Oh, is that what you think now, I care for a strange entity more than my own mate. You know I really don't know if it's your pregnancy or the crazy amount of hormones running through you now but recently you have been seeing things in just black and white, Angel, there is the grey part, okay. It's embarrassing hearing you talk these days, you walk into our room and find me in an awkward position without my shirt on, don't you think I must have been caught off guard. I was trying my best to ignore her summoning but I couldn't and she overpowered me just after my shower. I was really glad to see you play with the rest yesterday, I thought you were finally opening up again, I guess I thought wrong. You need to learn to trust again and see things beyond the surface as you once use to.
You might not like Artemis but even if whatever she is doing is primarily for her own benefit, know also that it's also for ours. I do not know Anthea's plans and strategies, only her knows that and unfortunately, you will be seeing more of those black outs, better get used to that. "
She gave me a fierce glare after my speech and then turn over the food she was preparing into the sink, slammed the plates she had set out to put in the meal and shoved me aside as she stormed out of the kitchen..
I sighed, Angel is back to her old self, I have enough on my hands already, i am not gonna add a grown-up cry baby to the list, I let her be and cleaned up the mess she created.
As I cleaned up the mess, I thought of how I was gonna get Anthea's plans from her lips herself, is it through dialogue, seduction.... Nah I can't go through that path, I might not come out of it as planned. I will go through dialogue, force her to talk too much.

My wolves soon put me down and continued with the party, I decided to help with unraveling the gifts we received from Friends and well, friends since we didn't have a family now to call our own. Angel was really doing great , she sat on the floor like a kid and Lucy joined her. They must have enjoyed doing such as kids, I didn't like the fact that Angel was straining herself this much after nearly cooking for five hours straight but I knew she wouldn't listen if I asked her to leave such activity for me since her stomach is protruding every day. I was glad to see her and Lucy put aside their differences and display that togetherness they once had before I came into their lives.
I was in the middle of watching them when I saw Jason came out from the Kitchen and walk to the Garden with his head bent and shoulders slouched. I stopped what I was doing and followed him outside, from his facial expression I knew it was his girlfriend, April.
I never liked the girl and I told him this without holding back, telling him earlier would make it look like I was exerting too much authority on him, at least that's how he will see it. Rushing into relationships doesn't save one from further heartbreak, it only pushes one into a triangle when the guilty ex comes begging. It's the exact situation I have found myself in except mine is more than just a triangle, it's more like a quadrangle.
That's Why I quickly brought up Audrey to challenge Jason once again. I know Audrey is a very difficult person to woo and the blood Oath and countless bonds we have created among ourselves will make it very difficult for her to look beyond me, but I just want the focus off me for a while, at least till I have found a way to get past Ollie and Anthea. I can't take away the fact that after the next war, I know that is inevitable, there will surely be a war. At the end of the war if nothing goes wrong, I might have four women in my life, a situation no Sane man wants to be in.
After our little chat and the big hug between, I left him and returned to the house, Lucy and Angel were still joking around, running after each other, Audrey too had joined them in the act. The kids were busy in various parts of the house doing what they know best, I wasn't comfortable with the fact that my house is now a wh.ore house, yes it's now mine. Immediately after George's death, I finished up with the process, since there is no one to stop me. But I didn't want to be too hard on them after all, if I stop them, they will surely do it elsewhere.
I went upstairs to shower, I was in the middle of this when suddenly I felt this overwhelming urge to call on Ollie, I ignored it and went into the shower, but the more Ignored it, the stronger it became, it felt like something was trying to force my tongue to speak. I held on till after the shower, but I couldn't hold on any longer, immediately after wearing My shorts, I heeded to Audrey and collapsed on the bed, I woke up in her cell and found her sitting on the floor. She was wearing her Warrior kit, the short Chiton. Her hair was back to blonde and a bit of pepper in it, she looked cool. Her eyes were back to its black empty looking socket and so I quickly looked away, thus I couldn't see the remaining part of her face.
" I am sorry for calling you out like this, I didn't know you were in the shower. You look.. You look.. Nice, very nice. "
I checked myself to find out I was bare chested, I didn't get to put on something before my collapse.
"Why do you want me now, I am celebrating with my family, you shouldn't be having a dialogue with a filth and a man-LovePeddler. You made it quite clear the last time I was here that you didn't want me here or anywhere near you, I have stayed away from you, I still don't know you can't do the same, can't you just leave me be!"

I asked cutting her off,

But Ollie saying she wants to be truthful is a plus for me, refusing to do this now might stop her from doing so. I breathe in deeply and slowly raise my head up and look directly into her eyes , I expected my eyes to get burnt but nothing of such happened, her eyes were back to normal, but the black pupil being dominant.
She burst out laughing after I opened my hands haven hardened then for what was to come. I didn't find it funny but she did,

But some gods didn't like that, they felt I was taking my resolve too far and several times made my followers fall in love, dad was also part of it. I became angry and killed one of those love gods, thinking about since then, I have discovered that I played right into the hands of my enemies. I hated rivalry and competition and usually ended them before they got any attention. People saw me as a jealous and vengeful goddess, but Achaeon was the finishing move.
I hated the fact that he was a good hunter and some people thought he was actually better than me in hunting. I wanted to kill him but I couldn't get to because some gods favored him but when he foolishly looked at my unclothedness, I saw an avenue but I didn't or I couldn't stop and I went too far forcing my dad to intervene, which was the bright lightening you must have seen the other day when I felt you in me. My dad doesn't always intervene but that day he did and that brought about an impromptu meeting. My case was judged and since I did contrary to what I was known and worshiped for ; protection of women and children, such powers were taken from me because I caused the killing of an innocent woman and child and also attempted to kill another.
Also, My father's wife felt I abused the serenity of the woods, including causing havoc using wild animals and corrupted it with innocent blood, thus she asked that my powers over the moon and the wild be taken from me. Dad left my powers over the wild for me but withdrew my most powerful ability, the control over the moon, although not everything, but a large chunk was taken from me leaving me weak and helpless and in a twisted sense of humor, Dad kept me in a prison beneath a tree.
I am sure you know the rest, my deal with Anthea and all, so that's basically it. "
I chuckled which brought a weird look to her beautiful face, before saying,
" You called me out here to tell me about the meaningless killings you did and I should feel pity that you finally got what you deserved or I should be enraged at those you call your enemies, or something because I really don't why you called me out here to indirectly tell me you need a session with a psychiatric or someone to tell you that a supposed goddess shouldn't see competition between her and her subjects. Tell me. "
She starred at me for a while before saying,
" If you think that saying such things will make me regret my decision to open up to you, then you are badly mistaken. I was expecting such from....... "
" That's it, you don't get it, the thing is I don't care if you open up or not or show me how intimidatingly beautiful you are, all I want is you and your psycho apprentice to stay away from my family and loved ones. I don't care about what you did and what you didn't do, you have caused enough harm already in my life and a few minutes speech cannot erase that. If we are done here, let me know. "
She kept quiet after what I said and just starred at me,
" You know what, forget I ever summoned you here, I felt you were the gift my dad sent to me, to motivate me to be a different person. I keep grudges and I rarely forgive but that's not you William, your attitude of giving second chances and your forgiving nature spurned me to do what I just did. Well I guess I got it wrong, it seems you are not so different after all. " with that she turned away from me and then I heard what sounded like sniffing, wait..... Is Ollie crying?"

The last three days after the heartbeat I experienced on Christmas day have been awesome. I got the book and I couldn't have gotten a better read than this. Casanova is a mad dude, his skills are top notch but I think Luke is his sort of followers, the Fvck and leave type. I am more of the single woman type and I must sway Miss Audrey off her feet, thus far I think I am making progress but I Still haven't discover her personality yet, who she is behind the magic and all, what she wants from a man, though I do know she likes smooth, hard and slow love making apart from that I know nothing else which is really bad of me. The only way I can do that is by getting close to her, going to numerous dates with her in different locations, getting to see her reaction from these different settings and all. I need to know where she sync with me, is it during sex, during chores, between dialogues, in the midst of loved ones and friends, strenuous activities, and many more on my List and more importantly, I have to act and behave like a Beta, a true Beta and stop being too nice.

The last few days after vacation have been the best days of my entire existence. I mean minus the sex part, It's been very memorable. I got a ride from Luke and taught April how to drive, she was really happy and asked if the ride was mine but when I denied ownership, she didn't look too amused. I really didn't understand her reaction then, I mean she knows I have been my own man for a while and I am trying really hard to keep my grades up so that I will qualify for a scholarship, April knows all these, so why was she sulking when I said I didn't own the ride. She didn't talk much after that and soon demanded I dropped her at home, I reluctantly obliged.
Things weren't rosy no more between us for a while and still I didn't know what I did wrong, I had this nagging suspicions that April was seeing someone else, I mean she has never allowed me use her cell but I do give her mine willingly. I didn't have proof so I disregarded that thought. I got some cash and bought a new set of Victoria Secrets and that calm things down between us.
I invited her for the party at Mr Richard's and she agreed to come along, I was elated and wanted to show her off to my friends. We got there tagging along with Luke but we had a little difficulty entering and she actually felt we were out of our mind trying to enter an empty space of land by cutting our wrist and murmuring some nonsense. The passage door Wouldn't open, Coach came to our rescue, the look on April's face was priceless seeing Mr Richard appearing from no where. He got us in and then we sang the Christmas song but when Tinie's Tempah Written in the stars, we got mad with the moves and all.
I and Luke thought of getting a gift for Coach but we didn't really know much about his likes and dislikes save for his obsession with Apple pie. We were unable to decide on something and left that out, so I decided to give a speech about Coach, it was the only thing I could think of to thank him most especially for saving my life. The party went wild when Metallica was put on by the dj and I decided to go into the kitchen with April. She had the lingerie I bought for her on her and it fit just well on her. I could feel my erection already but April said she wasn't in the mood, it was that time of the month she said. Shitt! Why can't I ever get it right with girls, Talia, Courtney, Chelsea, Audrey now it's Sanchez. Should I do what Luke said and go for a black girl or I should go for both races like he does and just Fvck and leave.
Nah, I can't do that, it's not right, I might be immune to nasty diseases but what of the emotional strain I am putting myself and those poor girls into.
I was deep in such thoughts when Coach came my way and sat with me on the bench.

A good relationship strives on good communication, if your girlfriend feels you are not doing something right, she should let you know what and where you should improve, but she didn't do that instead she went outside to go get what she wanted making you look a fool for loving her. But Still, don't be hard on yourself, next time pick someone who actually loves you for who you are and I must say they ain't too far away. "

"Oh ....written in the stars ...... a million miles away ......seasons come and go .....but we will never change .......out of our ways ........" The wonderful song by Tinie Tempah and Eric Turner was chorused by everyone in the room as we all looked towards the moon in this special Christmas night. The song spoke to all of us present because as long as we breathe we will never age and yes we will never change.
After the whole Ollie Fiasco , i wasn't myself afterwards, i mean it felt like i was the perfect man who will never have anything he ever wanted, the most cherished of all - a family. When i look at it, it's more a curse, My Ancestor's parents died in quite a marvelous way - killed by their own wolves, my second Earthling parents were killed by a jealous maniac and now two unreasonable women view my family as my sort of weakness, my sole blind spot of which it truly is.
I am fated not to have a family because it never ends well for them and still that's what i want the most while i am supposedly mated to a woman who views family as a sort of fellowship, her excuse of her willingness to subject herself under a man and have a proper family. That revelation this week tore me apart because she was never gonna be open to me or open up to me , she only wanted to trick me by claiming what's not in her - Love. Well , no matter , they are both liars and its best i focus on the enemy i can see that can actually harm me - Anthea.
Well, to the present, Lucy was back to talking with me , her courage and sometimes unnecessary care motivates to do all i can for her, it's why i can never stop loving her, she is that special . She has been trying really hard the last few days to get me to do my duties to her but i have been finding it hard to keep my mind on sex. The constant reminder that i might be starting another family with her that i might not be able to protect keeps me from answering her wish but sooner or later i know i will still give in. Angel was still her usual self, always quiet when she is angry and usually does things that hurts one more than when she is talking, but today she kissed me and did some talking while cooking.
Audrey did some changes to the spell protecting the house , making it slightly difficult for the wolves to get in when they later came with their crew. I had to bring each one through the spell-hold and doing that to about a hundred and seventy-six people wasn't fun one bit. The spell vaporizes an intruder with lightening similar in power to that of Zeus but Audrey tweaked it to any intruder with malicious intent. All night i watched Audrey constant stare at Jason and his pretty girlfriend, one of those times i walked up to her and said,
" Why don't use rekindle the flames again, you guys obviously can't let go of each other."
" I like him , Richard i really do but i love you and there is a big difference between both. i can't just see myself with another man."
I smiled and turned to listen to what Jason had to say when he stopped the music and demanded for attention,
" Today is special because today ,a selfless man was born , a man who changed the lives of many and is now forever celebrated for such exploits . In our midst within us today we have our own special man, he has been with us for just a short time but his works have been felt by each and every one of us in this room, he has been a mentor, a leader and an Alpha to all of here present tonight. There is so much i intend to say but i wont want to bore you all tonight, but i represent the mind of everyone here tonight when we say we love you Mr Cypher and we just wanna let you know that whenever is happening we got your back. Merry Christmas Mr Cypher."
The whole crowd cheered and my wolves ran to me lifting and throwing me up in the air as we returned to the wild part of the party. This Christmas was truly special.

_________________________________________ CONTINUED ___________________________________ RICHARD ______________________________________ The expression on my face said it all, she was indeed responsible for those killings , she ordered those wolves to take apart Achaeon although i cannot tell if she delibrately allowed the spell on the wolves to continue . This is my own summary of what happened; Achaeon was a very good hunter who was well known for his hunting skills and one of the rivals of Artemis, he saw Artemis unclothedness while she took her bath and when he was caught , Artemis sealed his tongue and kept a spell on him to turn him to a stag that will be torn apart by his own hunting wolves should he try to speak. He foolishly called out to his wolves and immediately he turned to a stag who was chased by his wolves and torn limb from limb, that was the account we all know but the wolves going after their master's family wasn't written , well obviously for good reason. Ollie shivered and moved back slowly until she suddenly collapsed to the floor, i didn't come to her aid but watched closely to see how she responds to what she knows i have just seen. Suddenly, like remnants falling from a beautiful wooden work, i was able to see Ollie for who she truly was. Those high walls she kept against me fell right in front of me, i watched her shed tears and this time the fluids flowed freely . I was able to see her eyes for what they truly were, her pupils were actually black and it made her beautiful face seem dark despite her sad state. I thought Audrey's face was perfect but hers had nothing on Ollie's. Ollie's face was inch perfect from the brows to her nose to the contours , it was like the perfect construction and each complemented the other perfectly. She is not beautiful, she is the definition of it, it's hard not to fall flat for such a being on half glance not but right now I hated everything about her including her cursed beauty. I watched her cry for a while and she couldn't stop spitting or cleaning her lips, " Your father intervened and stopped your curse from wiping out an entire family just because a careless father saw your wretched body." My last words brought a vicious stare from her but i didn't care , i continued, " You made the innocent pay for the sins of the father because your t.its and arse was seen by a perverted man. Everyday we see nudity and men do not get torn apart because of that........." " I am not your ordinary woman or LovePeddler, i am Artemis and no man will ever see me naked and live to talk about it. " " Wait, how did you plan on mating with me without me seeing your unclothedness ?" She scoffed, " You really are stupid if you believe when i am forced to mate with you, i will show anything beyond my face."
" Alright, that's fair , i am not interested in helping you anymore. I am barely containing my anger right now, what's make me mad is the fact that you are not sad because of the vile thing you did but because you feel ashamed of having feelings for the very person that you murdered his ancestor. You ought to remain here forever and i will make sure that is so. You are a monster and people like you should be killed, Filth."
I spat i front of her and turned to take my leave,
" You might hate the fact that i cherish my body so much ,but that's the only only thing i hold dear to me, that's what makes me different and i will kill again and again to protect that. Can you say the same about yourself , you man-LovePeddler. " She said ,spitting after.
Me, a man-LovePeddler, i swallowed those bitter words and left her cell, knowing fully well that i won't be coming here anytime soon.

Remember she started it when she tasted his blood and when he did likewise, a sort of bond was formed similar to what happened between Richard and Lucy when they first mated, the only difference is that one is sex, the other was created by blood.

I felt that was the last straw ,tonight I am gonna find out everything ,including what exactly Artemis did that caused even her father to turn his face away from her. I walked back into the car to find Lucy crying ,I opened my side of the car and dragged into me ,
“shh ,its gonna be okay , I promise ,no more secrets love.”
“its never gonna be okay, you keep saying no more secrets but yet you keep secrets from me, where is the trust Richard and yet you call me your mate.”
“ I know and I am sorry about that, I was trying to protect you from all these.”
“its alright to tell me what’s going on ,I am my your mate and we are in this till the very end. So ,what’s the plan now?”
“ find out the truth once and for all.”
I started the car and drove straight home , I parked the car and headed straight for the woods, it was now or never between I and Ollie. I sat laid back on the lake and I didn’t mind if it was still late afternoon. I forced myself to sleep and I woke up in Ollie’s cell. I met here playing with her bow once again.
“ you know you can just call out to me instead of forcing yourself to sleep all the time.” She teased. “ Did you know that I am a descendant of Achaeon ,the unfortunate man who saw your unclothedness.” “What!!! That’s not possible, he didn’t have ….wait…Who told you this?...Anthea?” I nodded. She suddenly came at me and took my right arm, she dug my teeth into my wrist, I grimaced in pain as she tasted some of my blood. She closed her eyes as she reveled in the taste of my blood. Her eyes flew open and she had a monstrous look on her face, she spat out the remaining blood in her mouth and struck me with her arm, I flew some twenty feet back and landed on my back, before I knew what was going on ,she was on top of me pounding her fists into my face, slamming my head into the floor ,screaming “ You fifth, your foolishness caused my present situation, you taught you could see my unclothedness and brag about it and now you didn’t only see it, you actually kissed my sacred lips, you worthless perverted fifth of the Earth. I will kill you this time with my bare hands…”
She had her hands around my throat and was squeezing the life out of me. I was holding on for dear life and I didn’t know when I blasted her with Lightening. She jumped away from me after the impact, I was enraged and that got the better of me. I went for her and dug my teeth into my throat , tasting her blood in the process. Suddenly, I felt some kind of pull and then everywhere changed, I found myself in some woods and then I heard growling and running, a beautiful brown stag ran past me and almost immediately a pack of ferocious wolves followed. I watched as the stag fell into the root hit a tree root and lost its balance ,unfortunately it didn’t have the luxury of recovering as the wolves descended upon the poor stag and tore it limb from limb.
When they were done ,they left for somewhere, I saw them run into a cabin and then I heard screams , I was then able to look inside the cabin and I watched as the wolves tore a woman and her son apart. When they were done , I was able to see the faces of these wolves and just as I thought , their eyes glowed red .
They were possessed , I heard something snapped, a dried stick obviously, I turned around and saw a little boy with a bundle of stick, the wolves heard the snap and turned their attention to him but out of no where a stream of thunder bolt rained down on the wolves, turning them to ash instantly. The heat of the Lightening forced me to close my eyes. I opened them to discover I still had Ollie by her throat, what I just saw made me weak and I just let her go.
“ What happened? I felt you inside me , what did you do William?” She whispered.
“ I believe I just saw why you are in here, you spilled innocent blood, you killed the parents and sibling of my Ancestor. I saw that you are a monster.” I replied with tears falling freely from my eyes.

Angel finally looked up and I swear her eyes were glowing, she was pissed but I couldn't tell why. She stood and left hastily, I walked up to her and held her hand and I was greeted with some a very hard slap on my face.

I watched climbed her up the stairs and then I heard her slam her door.
Waoh! How things change quickly,
" Come get your instructions."i said, referring to Audrey.
She kissed me and got the memories she wanted and left to the Library. How am I supposed to rectify the situation now, they are both right. Women get attracted to me and I can't help but fall in love with the sexiest woman around or the fact that I can barely control my urges. This is the same me who could hardly get a woman except Daphne for more like decades, suddenly women that men will kill to have are fighting tooth and nail over me.
Ollie must be right then, Powers that were dormant in me are suddenly coming up and unfortunately since I do not know much about these powers or what they do, I can't control how they affect me in all ramifications.
What are these powers? Only Ollie can answer those questions truthfully, I can't trust Anthea to answer those without adding or removing.
I was deep in thoughts till it was time for me to prepare for school. I showered and got dressed for school, I found Lucy waiting inside the car already. I started the car and asked the car to play Skillet - Awake and Alive. I needed something to jolt up my brain that wasn't pure rap or rock, and that song was perfect for me. We soon arrived at school and Lucy got of the car rather hastily ignoring every student who greeted her.
I got to my lab and started work, I forward the score register to the respective class teachers and once again, I was lost in thought. I couldn't eat and I couldn't drink while in school,i was just frustrated.
Soon, school closed and Lucy was already waiting for me by the car. I unlocked the car and she got in, the song started again but this time she switched it off.
We were just few kilometres away from home when my car suddenly stopped working, it went off by its self. The car doors opened on their own volition and a powerful force drew us out slamming us both into the woods nearby. I looked around and I found Anthea about twenty feet away, smiling with her hands folded.
I helped Lucy to her feet and faced Anthea,
"What's the meaning of this? What do you want Anthea? "
" What do I want? I want what has been promised me, I want you, William."
"You want me, when you ain't done with your end of the deal. Do your part and I am sure that your master will see to it that you get what you guys agreed upon. "
She chuckled before saying,
" I don't have a master, and I don't know why you think you can trust an Olympian. They do not always do their own end of the deal. All I want is to mate with you and then when I am sure we both share the same powers as mated pairs, then I will have no problem releasing her from her bondage. "
" Aren't you ashamed mother to utter such despicable things from your lips. You want to mate with the same man your daughter is mated to, what kind of a mother does that. " Lucy said rather bitterly.
" Well I did warn you to stay away from him and if you had listened to me, you would be heading a throne by now and not some bimbo who is falling heads over heels for your so called husband. Yeah, I know of your secret meetings Richard. But it was a plan I wanted to carry out although I didn't think it would be you. Richard was created primarily to break stubborn women like Artemis but when you throw a stone targeting something in water, there is a ripple and that effect is what has caught you and the other women under Richard. But having such women in his life has enabled him grow, I saw the effect of you in Richard's life and I decided to relent a little in my resistance.
But I didn't know it would lead to you mating with him, so that's not my fault. "
" What I don't still understand is why you chose me instead of power or something more valuable, why me. " I asked.
" Oh well, when Artemis made her offer, I sought for advice from other beings and I got wind of the conditions that will set her free including the special man that will be sent to release her. Now I wasn't interested in men then so I didn't care but when I heard that the man will be a descendent of Actaeon, the man who saw Artemis's unclothedness. I knew that will be her father's doing, he was doing such out of respect for her even if he was still Mad about what she has done.
We are know that when Zeus favors someone, he usually blesses the person, well I became interested in what that blessing might be, I didn't know then that the added bonus of some of Artemis'sArtemis's powers will be among the blessings. I just wanted you because you were blessed by Zeus, I told Artemis and she cared less about you then so I don't understand why she suddenly cares now. "
" Probably because she has fallen in love. " I replied.
Anthea scoffed,
" Artemis fall in love? That's like moving a mountain. Artemis has vowed never to be subjected under a man and love brings that. If she says she is in love she is only fooling you, she wants her powers back and will do anything to get them back. Now the thing is , only of us can mate with you successfully, if she does that before I do, you will become worthless to me because you will become hers and Hers alone. Whatever family you think you have will become nonexistent to her, because you would have mated with whom you were created to mate with. May I also remind you that mating with a goddess will destroy whatever self will you have. Remember what happened the other day when you were helpless with me, well it's gonna be a lot worse with her. So for what it's worth, I am the better option if you intend to keep your family and will. "
She walked up to after her speech, kissed me on my lips and jerked my stick before leaving.
Lucy growled but she didn't mind, I slumped to the ground after she left. Who the hell am I gonna believe now,
" Look I don't care who this Artemis is, but I think she is the better deal even if you lose your self. I can't share the same man with my mother, the thought alone is disgusting and gross. "
She said angrily and left leaving me in the woods.

I woke up to find Lucy trying to resuscitate me by breathing into my mouth. I kissed her back instead and dragged myself back to my feet. I checked my wrist watch, it was past midnight. I seem to spend quite a lot of time in Ollie's cell.
"What was that Richard? Your body was cold like you were dead, what happened because I nearly lost my mind. "
This woman won't kill herself because of me, can't she just let me be for once, what is it will her?.
"I was busy with something, I do appreciate your concern but you need to get a grip on your self. Stop the worry, it will weigh you down."
She looked pissed after what I said,

Richard, what is wrong with you lately, don't you know that secrets weighs one down and those who love you will begin to lose trust in you. Angel has been worried sick about you despite her state as I have yet you are so oblivious of that. Telling us the truth won't kill us, it will just allow us to be expectant of whatever with happen. My schedule has been simple and straightforward after my broken arm ; Sex, eat and Sleep and April has been of tremendous help. I have come to like her more and more the last few days and several times she has slept over at my place despite her parents warnings. It's called Love and that's what they didn't understand. We have gone to the public park and to the Library on several occasions and I have never felt any better during those times of public display of affection . We have been reading together of late but that had to stop because she was later grounded since her parents had the excuse of examination.
I have been training really hard for days now because I couldn't help but feel we will facing a more sternal test than the last one we faced. The looks on Coach's face lately haven't been good one bit, he looked tired and seem to be ready to collapse anytime soon. I have always wanted to ask him what's going on but I don't know why I have been a little scared after our little fight that day. Coach is very kind but I don't want to push my luck with this new attitude of his, so I allowed sleeping dogs lie. I simply had to do my own part.
I was reading at home and decided against going to school since my next exam was two days away when I heard a knock, I opened the door to find Luke at my door step.

I took my bag and drove off to my best friend's house. The past few days I have training hard, improving my transformation time line and also doing a lot of weight lifting. I am 6 '2 already and I don't think I will grow any taller. I might though since dad is an inch taller that I am presently but then I am only eighteen, I will still definitely grow.

I don't have his charisma, his eyes that seem to twinkle, his smile, his perfect abs, his perfectly brown skin, his strange hair that falls like silk. I don't have such and besides I
am cool with Sanchez. "
" Common, you don't need to have whatever Coach has. Miss Audrey is attracted to you, she can't help it, meaning there is something she likes that you have. She is ten times more beautiful than the prettiest in our school. She doesn't age so you don't have to worry if her t.its are gonna sag or her hips will fall away, Christ, she is the perfect MILF, I mean how can you not see this!"

I searched for someone capable of wielding my powers but there were none because it seemed most of the nymphs were being slaughtered. After relentless searching, I found Anthea. She was still faithful and I found her praying to me. But Anthea have always been ambitious and must have heard whispers from someone, that's why she asked for you as her reward, I didn't bother to think it through then, I accepted her demands since it was the only one.
Each battle since she found you have been carefully selected and planned to not only break the seal but bring out a dormant power in you but you didn't know this. I only became aware of this when you forcefully kissed me the other day, allowing me taste your essence. It was then her obvious double standard slapped me hard on the face. She wants power, she wants more and more power and believe me if she has what she wants from you, she will kill you. She is not interested in love she is of the belief that love makes one weak and I don't think she is wrong after the constant troubles you seem to have with your wives."
She made emphasis on the "wives" to mock me probably.
"Alright, what's the way out and why do I feel a different connection with her. Moments ago, I was helpless, I couldn't stop myself. "
" Well she bit you and so that explains your weird connection. But as as much as you have developed yourself well, you haven't developed your wolf well, you have refused to use your telepathic abilities. If you have been working on that you wouldn't have problems saying no to Anthea. You should work on that in your spare time and that will allow know when any of your wolf is in trouble, it's a very valuable ability.
Now the way out, Anthea now knows what you have and yes I have tempered with it. I am very weak now so I will need your vessel to use some of my powers inside you to help you defeat her. You can't use those powers because you don't have that natural core of a god but I will use them through you so you will have break that spell you used in blocking me.
Anthea doesn't take no for an answer, she will come for you again and If you resist her, she will come again, this time with humans like her, you know, vampire - werewolf. You are no match for her and your wolves will be no match for her army so you will be needing my help because if you don't defeat her in battle, you will be at her mercy and I don't need to tell what will happen. One other thing, Anthea doesn't like competition, it's one of the reasons why she will kill you and whatever you hold dear.

She was right, I should be ashamed of myself. I sat on the floor and covered my face with my palms, I am getting tired and fed up of all this.

I know it's not your father who kept you here, the weak lightening that didn't kill me gave that away. I was sent by your dad to get you out of here and your hasty decision to give me away to get yourself out of here was a big mistake by you. You suddenly realise after meeting me that I was sent by your father but unfortunately Anthea has known this all along, so whatever blessings he gave me for you, have been tampered with by you. I don't know what you did to it, but Anthea knows you have tempered with it.
I have noticed the manner in which both of you speak. You twist your words to lay the blame on me but Anthea gave it away today. You know I am mated to her and not you. I was your forgotten mate, but you gave me up to Anthea because you taught you will never fall in love.
I can't believe I have been so dumb all this while. God! "
" NO... It's not like that, you are getting it all wrong. "
I shook my head and stood up to leave,
" I didn't know my dad would send any one to save me, worst of all, one that I will fall in love with. When I was kept in here, some of my abilities were taken from me and held. But I didn't know my dad will return them through you, I know now but even though I have given you to Anthea, I can't let her have you, those abilities are very sacred and will make her more powerful than I am. It can only be passed to either of us when you mate with us, it's why she wants it before I get out of here. I am very sorry for withholding this from you all this while, please forgive me. "
