Apply with the 304 score. Your GRE isn't the only thing that is assessed on your application. You have a good GPA. What you need is to get very strong recommendation letters (not the typical ones written by most lecturers). The recommendation letters should be personal and give examples of attributes that are stated in the letter. I can send you a sample of a strong engineering recommendation letter if you need one. Additional, have a well written personal statement that clearly outlines your research interest(s). If you have any publication, it can further strengthen your application. But if you don't have any, it wouldn't harm you either. I have a friend who had a WES evaluated GPA of 3.11 and a GRE score of 294 who got admitted to the chemical engineering masters program at the University of North Dakota with full tuition waiver and a graduate research assistantship for Spring 2022 (he got his visa yesterday). He had very strong recommendation letters and a well written personal statement that strengthened his application.

Pls can you share the sample of the recommendation letter with me

Hello, good morning. Please I had an agent who applied for Cyprus International university for me and I was given admission at the school. I've also paid for the acceptance fee but the issue I'm having now is that my lecture is to start by September this year and I want to know if I can leave before next month June. Please is it possible to leave by June while my lecture starts by September? I also want to know if the school will be the one to send a departure date for me or I will be the one to chose the date I will leave to cyprus because my agent told me that it is the school that will give a date I will travel to Cyprus. Please I need respond as soon as possible. Thank you sir/ma

The major problem in UAE is accommodation. House rent in UAE actually depends on the person giving you a bedspace, but you can get a bedspace for a down bed partition in Dubai with the range of 600 to 550 dirhams depends on the neatness and number of people in the room. Why for the up bed you can get a bedspace from the range of 400 to 450 dirhams.
But in areas like Abu hail and Al Quoz you can get a down bed from 400 to 450 dirhams and up bed for 300 to 350 dirhams due to the fact that this is a bit of industrial areas.
But the nice thing about this is that if you are able to get yourself a job with accommodation you won't have much issues with bed space, though jobs that comes with accommodation tends to be a bit lower compared to those that comes without accommodation.
As for transportation it depends on how you move around and your social life as a person because if you are working you won't be really spending money on transport because most companies provide buses at various locations for their workers around various points, why for those that don't provide you can be strolling from your apartment to your work place or you get a bicycle that can aid you to work. Generally transportation tend to be very expensive when you newly enter Dubai and you are currently searching for job, during my job search I really spent alot on transport using metro cos I avoided taxi like a plague.
Feeding is not that expensive in Dubai I must say. With 400 dirhams you can eat well for for a month before you paid salary if you are the type that can be cooking, but if you eat most time outside you will spend more on feeding.
As for the salary aspect I will use myself as an example, where I work at the moment am currently paid 1700 dirhams monthly as a car cleaner at Abu hail but company don't provide transportation or accommodation. From the 1,700 salary I pay accommodation for 400 dirhams, feeding - 400 dirham, send money to my people at home monthly 400 and at the end of the day I am left with just 500 dirhams for instance. In this instance I have not bought clothes, perfume or even shoes or cash for small flexing once in a while because am saving about 400 dirhams monthly to process my personal permit after my contract with the company expires.
So from this little analysis you will be able to deduce that Dubai is not really easy for the first two years of your contract, but after two years if you are focused and know what brought you here you will be able to do something good for yourself .
But if you are the extravagant type that love spending and buying nice things with this type of my salary monthly you can be in Dubai for your first two years without saving nothing.

Thanks man.... May the good Lord continue to bless you

Thanks alot. It is good to be honest when it comes to issues about life, it doesn't mean I was deceived about the prospects in UAE before my coming here means that I will start deceiving my fellow Nigerians that are about coming here. The problems lots of Nigerians encounter in this country is mostly from our fellow Nigerians in the UAE. They dupe and mislead their brothers in all aspects from visa procurement, charge you money to pick you at the airport, collect money for jobs irrespective of how demeaning the job is , inflate money for accommodation all in the guise of helping you .
I met a man of about the age range of 45 to 48 years last week in a friend place who a Nigerian Agent procured a three months visa for at the rate of 950,000 naira, after a lot of threat from some Nigerians here, the agent finally enrolled the man on a Sira course, but the man is already on a two week overstay due to issues I don't really know.
When you are in UAE avoid most of your brothers called Nigerians, you can get job yourself here just that it might be below your expectations but you need to start from somewhere.
Actually if I knew or got this information I had now before embarking on this trip I would have invested this money into something viable or apply to a UK University for my master's .
The reason lot of people are stuck here is the fact that they don't have anything to go back to at home, only those that weigh their options and go back are those that still have one or two things to go back to .

Thanks bro for the update
Pls how is the living expenses in terms of "house rent, transportation and feeding" and how much do u think one can save from the salary ( let say salary of 800) after deducting the total expenses?

Pls I will be glad if you can explain in details
