However in terms of urbanization, infrastructural developments, roads and railways development, poverty alleviation, China is way ahead of the united States. The US is currently reeling from infrastructural decays from its archaic trains to metros, housing decay to roads. Isn't it a shame that the United States does not have bullet trains? The roads in China are beautiful to drive on especially the ones in Xinjiang- wide and bump-less. The United States seriously has to upgrade her decaying infrastructures in order to compete with China in that area.
I also see people extolling the cleanliness of Chengdu. Well, who wouldn't? China is a beautiful and clean country because her citizens have been taught to respect and protect their environments. It is no gainsaying that the neatness of a country, city, town or village is a reflection of the inhabitants of it. In Nigeria, people litter with reckless abandon. Nigerians are largely dirty and recalcitrant when it comes to following hygiene rules. Nigerians would choose to drop litter on the floor / road than use the rubbish bins provided for them by the state. Generally speaking, Chinese people are not the most hygienic not with the public spitting and all that. But they are a stickler for rules, so, when the government say 'Don't Litter' people will try not to litter unlike in Nigeria where littering, open defecation and urination is the norm in most places.
Chengdu is truly a beautiful, neat and green city.

For a Ryan Reynolds action-comedy, Free Guy had no right to be this well-written. Like I'm literally turning my brain off to enjoy Ryan's shenanigans and then halfway through the movie, I realize the plot is coherent, the dialogue is fluid and engaging with only the slightest bit of cringe, the story has soul and the actors are delivering the assignment.

Ready Player One would never have crossed my mind while watching this movie if folks hadn't been bringing it up on the thread. But where RP1 creates it own game world with only a few homages to gaming culture, Free Guy is like a freaking love letter to hardcore gamers. From getting popular streamers like Ninja, Jacksepticeye, Pokimane,etc on board to references like in-game trolling, teabagging, the fortnite dance and looting and of course, the general pop culture references like Cap's shield. If Ready Player One was for the players, Free Guy was for the NPCs.

This isn't a movie I have to laugh about how you're not supposed to take it seriously. Or deflect bitching ... ahem... criticism about it with light trolling. Nah! Free Guy is a Ryan Reynold's movie I can be proud of with my chest. Most definitely one of the best movies of 2021.
