I dunno if i'm the only one seeing this trend, but if you encounter it, it's sure to ruin your day. Dele paid more than his tuition fees@ an extra of 800naira. During the reg process, he became aware and asked how he could recover it. Then he heard what confused him, however official it sounded. Dele was told to write his HOD, the dean and the bursar who will in turn inform the V.C and onto more protocols, process, all before 800 can be refunded to him.Have you had a similar experience? Pls share |
Explorers:this is classic. Girls would stil love this if redesigned. |
Judging from what Im seeing, a higher concentration of the power is on the seacoast of most countries. This attest to the fact that the white man came to extract our raw and beautiful resources and use them without building anything for us. That was then, but now, africans themselves have taken over this sea-business and puppeteer for the white man, thinkin they are in control. What a sham. The hypnosis continues!! |

For guys out there that are sidelined. Have hope. Laughing last is the oldest adage |
Look/the topic below this topic on Fp: Guy ask ladies, girls on here to answer a perturbing question. That thread is still on page 0 Now this- A lady asks guys a perturbing question, guys are happy to give answers, probably laugh it off and continue with life. Already on page 3. @Op do the needful 1st. But guys dont hide this like and ladies themselves now use it to advantage. Ask ButtomPower |
Sounds like a scene from Nollywood's Gidi Up. Girls this is a show of shame and indecision, not decision. |
Dyt:is that all? This thing exist. Okay |
Vi*ly |
He has gone down in history as the Closest Governor To The Masses. Something the masses want and no those bodyguarded, siren-blaring, rarely seen Governors. He listens and interacts with the people to. Turn a blind eye and keep denying the fact. |
Dramatist, leaving your audience spellbound, wondering is one of the things a director tells a stage actress to do. Nollywood learn. On a more serious note, RIp. |
Hmm. Banky im watching you o. |
Psquare gap much now. Wizkid has 1/10th of their youtube followers. |
Remembering this situation like 3 years back and this is it: This guy finished University, did his masters. In between these years, something happened. He would bring a lady to his parents for intro. After all the talk and all, he'd ask if his mum and dad love what they see, like her. He did it for 3 ladies before his parents settled for the 4th one. By then he was in his early 30s. Is this proper at all? Were his Parents fed up of the process, and just agreed this time? Was he also wanting to prove a point by his silence, playing along? Let's hear mature talk. The guy is doing good, nice job, no hassle for those wanting to know his current situo. Cc: Lalasticlala |
With Post-Utme exercise across several tertiary institutions in the country, Many students are up and doing, to get the much coveted admission and start the next stage of their life. While some are already familiarizing with the environs of their preferred university/polytechnic, etc, others are still just working to make sure all things are equal. What they fail to register, which happens late, is that there is a goal that each institution pursues for each newly admitted set of students. My scope is down to institutions still at infancy! The aim to get recognition, through crook or through the rules is so sickening. While many put such info on their respective websites, few students actually bother less about how they wish to implement it. In their greedy bid to get this 'national recognition' , students' welfare both in academics and other activities bear the grunt. 1) Lecturers acquired from already existing, mature university see this opportunity to prove who has it most: English dept mostly guilty of this; imagine 4lecturers teaching four year 2 classes and differ on one pattern of approach. 2) The Older the merrier: With our University system, opposite seems the case. You'l see baba 70 smiling and students are weeping over a test, exam. Some are better at saying stories of why students fail. They've easily forgotten that the dullest of a class of 205 may come years later, wealthier and come honor his school or open a library, etc. They fall mostly under the sadist group. The emphasis on graduating with a first class has taken another turn in the last decade, not because of a good reason, other than the labour market, big companies require it. Thus after carefully looking at it, the students pay the price and leave double-faced like a Janus statue. Is this worth it at all? The ratio of those that leave sad and those that leave with that 2.1 in terms of achievement in life is tilting more towards a negative side. Our System needs review: for existing Universities and new ones also. ASUU has failed to unite!!
