larryjonze: Are there really Good people, do you think if there are no effective laws and system in place people would be good. All we need to see the other sides of americans, chinese or british is the suspension of law for just 24hrs. Looking for good people pre-governance is an outright waste of time, what we need is an independent working system, cos system keeps people good We have all the good laws and systems but only humans make laws and systems work. It's humans that determine if laws and systems will work or not. Wether we have good people on earth or not, it's still the products of your country that will make a system active. (Everyone in a system) |

4:4 3 pointers 6:12 2 pointers 22:32 rebound (Many of ours are offensive 13)
We should be having at least 15 2 points (30 goals) if we took our chances. |

Criminal minded Nigerians think their leaders are their problem.
Change your leaders 100 times, it won't get better.
Your leaders are your products.
Good people can't have bad leaders. |

Danielnino00: Okogie and Nwora are 22.. Okpala and Achiuwa are 21 ... Metu and Oni, 24 ..
The age doesn't really matter...they still have time to develop into superstars... Nwora in my opinion is the most talented of the lot... Meaning they are all within the same age with Doncic who is already a superstar.... Nwora may likely become above average though, showing signs.. |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Basketball Thread! by somehow: 6:10pm On Jul 26, 2021 |
Danielnino00: Luka Doncic! Man!!!!
If only we had one superstar in the team like him..
Anyway, the core members of our team are still young..there's plenty of time for them to develop into superstar level.... Doncic is just 22. How young are our players? |

n3xt: I know this. I had discussion with our sleepy mod 10 years ago and I can tell nairaland is just an accidental success. Baba was just blabbing... Nothing like strategic planning, team depth, training, leadership, goals, etc was discussed because there was none. Everything is as the spirit led.
I got the rudest shock of my life when I heard that the biggest forum in Nigeria (abi west Africa or subsahara Africa) was only registered as a business enterprise. It tells a lot about us out there!
Abi oyinbo no go know?
We just like doing the comfortable things. Once it works, just leave it o! The up NEPA thingy!
It’s well!
_______
Let’s not be in a rush to blame only Seun though.
Blame his environment which believes once you gather money to open a shop, you’re automatically a professional in your field of endeavor. No need for trainings or support. Everyone here is a professional so long you have a thread, a phone number and Instagram page
Blame everyone of us who believe this is our best just like we believed 12 hours light a day is a great news
Blame those who think moderation is all about wielding the big stick and not stewarding people towards doing things right and not just doing right things (the wrong way) and using the platform to make them become better in their businesses. I felt bad hearing our own dominionng complained bitterly about the system that runs here and guess what we are all silent like it’s nothing.
Do I expect anything? No!
______
One thing I really love about nairaland is that I can use the platform to talk sense into us and no one can beat me!
Nairaland community is by extension our own Nigeria. What are you doing to make it better
Everyone can complain. Leaders make a difference. Nairaland is Nigeria online. |

n3xt: I think it’s kinda tough for the guy especially with the calibre of people he surround himself with, to move from the realm of accidental success to the realm of habitual achievement.
Emphasis on the bolded because it is often difficult for entrepreneurs (young or old) to self-analyze their growth and progress without a right mentor or coach - not just yes men!
I think Seun is surrounded by yes-men! He fires those who have different opinions. He surrounded himself with those that wouldn't question him. Again, this is me talking from experience. N. B = Not like he was paying anyone then to moderate. |

Emegano played less than 10 minutes, but he lead our scoring sheet with 11 points.... LOL or the carbon bed is not suitable for him lol. Maybe he needs to ease off a bit. Japan, abeg allow Achunwa release some stress na. Send CDs to him |
