It is the typical Nigerian way of not taking responsibility to do the right thing and hide behind God. To the average Nigerian, doing the right and proper thing is very difficult. The average Nigerian just can't be bordered. It is too much work to be proper, forthright and meticulous.

Just sit back and look at the quality of our government, governors, senators and civil service. What you see is mostly obtainable in their personal life. We hide our inefficiencies and personal ineffectiveness behind God. Our favourite mantra is 'God forbid'

Get life insurance; God forbid.

Fire insulate your home; God forbid bad thing. I cover this house with the blood of Jesus.

Write your will; Will ke? Holy Ghost....fire!!! God forbid.
When I told someone I was to write my will by 40, the gaze alone was killing: Like seems you want to die now...
PoliticsRe: Stop Offering Us Bribes, Police, FRSC Tell Nigerians by somehow: 10:43am On Jul 28, 2021
I have never given bribe to a police man before in Nigeria.

When they ask, I tell them I don't have the kind of cash I can give them and only few actually asked me directly.

I think they profile faces before asking.

Our guys are too soft

We can all see the Germans all on their teammates encouraging them from the bench but ours just sit there like they want to go home on time.

Second is how they charge at the ref when calls go against them unlike us.

The most hungry team winning so far.
SportsRe: Nigeria Basketball Thread! by somehow: 3:36am On Jul 28, 2021
We are surely getting whopped by the whole 3 teams.

If we can't beat Germany, we can't beat no one!

Exactly.. They are our best shooters...Gabe is inconsistent... Against Australia,he shoot 1/7 FG
He hasn't really made any impact since the game against this US.

We need all our shooters to be on point.

The Germans are turnover masters, lets use it to our advantage.

We seems to be stronger too than most of our opponents, let's bring that to the table.

Lastly, let's make use of all free throws, our ladies had a massive 86% free throw ratio, the guys should not fall my hands!

D’Tigers tip off in about 5 hours from now…
I have been having irregular sleep pattern since Tokyo 2020 started.

Another 2am to stay up after staying up to watch some of the basketball games and that of our girls.

D Tigers, please do not make me regret not sleeping tonight.

Danielnino00:
I'd like to see us lineup like this against Germany.

PG- Emegano

SG- Okogie

SF- Nwora

PF- Metu

C- Achiuwa
Not bad. Emegano is actually a confident shooter. Same with Nwora.
