We have not done badly at all, just that we are losing too many balls and also wasting our free throws.
Coach brown should work on the turnover and the guys should work on the free throws. |

He's not business savvy and can't stomach business risks. He has seen a working model and stuck with it.
Create controversy and let people drag it out to generate traffic. That's why tribalism and ethnic fracas reign supreme here You won't understand Check the kind of threads that make HP check what has remained the hallmark of the forum. That he has refused to upgrade the forum is another pointer to what I said. Once tribalism and other forms of abuse are checkmated, he stands a chance of losing money from the traffic tribalists generate for him which further proves my point of him being all about money. Didn't start today, been like this for years. Some of us left on our own accord. |

Profayo: That's more than the minimum wage paid by the Government. And the Government is surely richer than Oyedepo. And he also doesn't owe salaries But nonentities who are supporting various state governments owing salaries will still come and bash Oyedepo. No graduate is paid 30k by the government. Minimum wage is for the lowest government workers who are primary and secondary school certificate holders. |

mufutau55: My brother, if I knew or was told by Seun why I was removed as a Moderator, it would have been nice, but unfortunately nobody ever gave me a reason. But I concluded that my overworked and over-active moderatoship was too much and bad for business was the reason. I was not paid for Moderatorship duty or any other kind of benefits; I was doing it for the benefit of the Properties Forums. How much can they pay me? After I was removed, I told them to go "suck a lemon". I can NEVER see them coming back to me to be a Moderator again. It will be an insult. For those close to Seun, you can tell him what I just said above. Thank you Sir.

Danielnino00: Germany -82 vs Italy-82
I gotta say, all of Australia,Italy and Germany have better 3 point shooters than us.... Yes How many 2 teams score 15 3 pointers each? If we can defend 3 P, then we stand a chance of beating both. |

Danielnino00: No kidding.... They are the reigning Asia champions.. They have beaten teams like Australia and China before...Not to mention that they are ranked above us and have home advantage.... We have a lot of work on our hands... I am talking about their recent performances, we stand a chance of beating them, this I am sure of! |

The United states have about 613 athletes in this Olympics
The uk have about 376
Japan about 552 athletes...Nigeria about 19.
Your ignorance is first class.
All the players in the basketball team play in the United states where the coach lives, if it was by merit then players in Nigeria would have been considered. Nigeria has 52 athletes |

PDPGuy: Women’s Olympics Tournament Fun facts:
- D’Tigress have more players who stand 6ft or taller (Nine), than the US Women’s Team (Seven). In fact, D’Tigress and Canada are the joint tallest teams at the Olympics as Canada also have 9 players who stand at 6ft or taller.
- Pallas Kunaiyi Akpannah, Aisha Mohammed, and Elizabeth Balogun are the only D’Tigress players born in Nigeria
- The three tallest D’Tigress players - Aisha Mohammed, Oderah Chidom, and Victoria Macaulay- all stand at 6’4”
- At 6’9”, Brittney Griner (USA) and Han Xu (China PR) are the tallest players in the tournament Sound very unbelievable having watched the friendly match between the US and Nigerian women teams. Maybe those tall girls on our team aren't starters. |

n3xt: Thank you sir.
As a matter of fact, I had a member of my team remotely managing the guy working on your project. I was receiving up-to-minute update about the project from both guys.
I had to send the submersible pump used on the project when I realized it was taking too long than expected.
I don’t have to wait for you to complain to know that.
______
I really don’t have to do this but doing it to ensure your project is delivered satisfactorily will give more credibility to this platform and many other platforms out there. The consequence of sitting on the fence and not taking responsibility/ownership is what we are all witnessing right now. The job is not moving. The client is unhappy. The referrer/recommender is not at ease. The subcontractor is on the run. Price of building materials keeps skyrocketing.
And the pastors keep preaching ‘hope’
_______
I think we can save ourselves from all these dramas by taking ownership on every little things committed into our hand. Still waiting... .... |

n3xt: Taking ownership is how we started our journey. I’m glad I had a PASS in my first test.
Till date, I’ve not recovered the fund from the guy who was meant to supply you the cement.
Thank God I didn’t tell you to sort it out with him as I’ve played my part by recommending him to handle the supply
Thank God I didn’t tell you I’ve reported to the association of cement supplier, the police, NIA, EFCC, ICPC and nairaland warriors and we should await their final verdict.
I took responsibility for the delay and make alternative arrangement for the supply because I brought the guy upon you. I won’t be liable if I didn’t recommend him.
_______ I wouldn’t know if that singular act earn me your sweet project
Thank you for choosing not to wear the black label. Sir, if you observe me well since we started business, you'd see that I always talk about owing up to responsibility. I also try not to be found wanting, meaning I take care of what I should take care of without pushing my responsibilities to others. When I know I won't be able to carry out the responsibility, I delegate and pay the delegate what is worth his or her time. Our lack of taking responsibility is killing us as Nigerians. No one wants to take responsibility, we love to blame others for things we should be in charge of. Remember the cement issue? I told you I don't know the cement guy and its you that I know and I made sure you played your part even though it took time. (I paid to you and negotiated everything with you). I pray the current business end well with you. Not to boast, the materials I asked of you was to do a road leading to my office just 1 year into moving there. I met people on that street with big big cars, they all kept waiting for useless LG to come fix the covet leading into their homes and offices. They didn't protest, they didn't go there daily to disturb the LG chairman, they only wrote letters (2) in 5 years to the LG. The LG is just 2 minutes drive from the street and 5 mins walk. Veyy sick mindset we have in this part of the world. BTW, I own no property in the said area! |

diordaves: True to God, I no understand this your statement. You 'found' yourself and broke out from that black label ? How? You come turn oyinbo? or how you take 'broke out'? Black label The word black was coined for a reason to address a particular race. I hope you know you are not black? Do a thorough research on the history of that label to understand me proper. I also don't call Causasians, Hispanians, Asians "Oyinbo" or "Whites". Again, do a research to understand how white label came about. Yoruba adage says "Oruko longbo eniyan". People who answer that black label behave in certain ways all over the world, just do your research sir. Heard of Ying Yang theory before? |

What an interesting read.
This goes back to us as Nigerians
It's an indictment that as Nigerians, we're terrible people if I am to interpret what has been said so far by different people on this thread.
What now happens to the "not so bad" ones that are in the minority?
What should they do since virtually everyone is a potential criminal?
How then do we grow with the mindset that the next man standing beside you is about ripping you off?
Nigeria is what it is today because of everyone of us! |
