Truth is I was into a christian home,Attended lots of churches,pentecostals and catholics,Did all what is required of me as a christian but curiousity got me thus far,I started off by reading anything I could lay my hands on when curiously searching for the truth,Started off with philosophy,the to the sciences(physics,chemistry and biology),then psychology,then Astronomy and geography,then proceeded to studying sociology and anthropology and I'm still studying because study is everyday process.

During the course of study,I discovered foolish men corrupted the world,It started in the pre-enlightenment ere down to the early medieval era but in the late medieval era,the great revolution came by which has placed the first world in their top spot of civilized people,The revolution came with man using his head to think and solve his own problems which actually kick start the industrial revolution and other advancement by the white people who embraced this revolution and now we in the enlightenment/post modernism era,Yet Africa is still stuck in the early medieval era which holds the belief in a god for their existence. Well,there's a lot to be told about religion,race and human existence but people wouldn't keep an open mind instead,they bash you for not believing in what they believe forgetting the fact that universal truth is not measured in mass appeal.

your story isn't strange. as a matter of fact, your story is typical of atheists. always thinking they have acquired some kind of knowledge that doesn't need God anymore. you guys keep fulfilling scriptures that said, "knowledge shall increase...." and also, " the love of many shall wax cold". apparently, you have self-esteem issues being an African because Africans are "still stuck in the medieval era"......

I have read all these issues you cited and I see the plan and program of God in all of it. this historical facts even help in authenticating scripture....you may not understand. you tend to read the scriptures by its shallow and seeming contradictory letters, unknown to you it is the spirit that enlighten ones understanding , not cognitive intelligence.

ANTONY FLEW , a former notable atheist have seen it all, and eventually acknowledged God. many other atheists have discovered God and changed their stance. they know all this stories and balderdash you are giving, and have come to know even better.

Yes of course the earth is intelligently designed but dont forget the birth defects, droughts, tornados, floods, hurricanes, wisdom teeth,a peendix, sickle cell anemia, bone cancer in children, harmful UV rays.

The problem scientists are having with the belief in a creator/creationism is that in the case that a God does exist, why is he so wasteful? Why do we have vestigial organs? What was the purpose of the other planets out there? What makes planet earth so special? Oh wait, us right? Lol.

my knowledge about God is through a personal encounter I had with him, an unforgetable experience, but you wouldn't believe me would you?

secondly, God will use former well known atheist scientist by name ANTHONY FLEW, to judge you and your atheistic scientists. his testimony about the evidence of an intelligent design is something I can relate to. the multi complexity accuracy and precision of the human DNA alone with all its functions and capabilities shows our existence was not mere coincidence, it was an intelligent design.

thirdly, matter can not be made from nothing, that would be even against science and logic. even if the big bang theory was true, something brought about the existence of matter that gave rise to gases which explodes and gives a ripple effect, bringing about our milky way galaxy and solar system.

organized religion may have corrupted our knowledge about the true living God, it still does not mean that spirituality is real. God is meant to be worshipped in truth and in spirit, not by creeds and man made dogmas.

our existence on earth has a purpose, we are not products of a cosmic accident. our purpose is to dominate the earth. THIS EARTH is for us to dominate. by dominating, it is our duty to discover, maintain and protect our earth, no other specie can take it from us.

you think God is wasteful, because you don't understand who God is. his ways are not our ways......having a leftover or untouched meal for instance is not a waste, it only indicates abundance or deliberate neglect on our own part... and I know with time, more discoveries about how our system works will clarify these areas. for now, our perceptions about these are still deficient.

A thing about creationists is that some of them completely reject science They bcome so uninformed. They dont even understand what a scientific theory or evolution is. Their idea of evolution is something turning directly into another like a metamorphosis. Evolution happens over a period of time and it's all around you.

I have both christian and Moslem close friends and business associates.
The difference is very clear.

1. A Moslem has never preached to me. They are more concerned with how well they live their lives as true Moslems than being concerned about what I believe.
2. A Moslem is 100 times more knowledgeable about his religion than an average christian is about christainity.
3. There are hardly any ambiguities in islamic scriptures. Christians don't even know who wrote their scriptures, talkless of understanding them.
4. Christian faith is mainly anchored on money and fraud. Islam is more charitable.
5. There are less claims of miracles and supernatural nonsense in Islam than in christianity.
6. Every Moslem that I deal with is more honest than the christians I deal with.

Moslems convert to Christianity on a regular basis, and they share their experiences and reasons on why they left Christianity. My pastor is a northerner. he was a military Muslim before converting to Christ.
