The issues I raised were never in doubt. You claimed 4 different writers wrote the pentateuch which I disputed. Only the small ending part which relates to the entry into Canaan was written by another person and I said that all bible scholars are in agreement on this. This small portion is not enough to deny Moses the authorship of all 5 books especially since only a little portion of the 5th book is affected. I also cited the examples of Psalms and Proverbs but your selective amnesia wouldn't allow you to reason properly. You are just a stubborn ignoramus with shallow knowledge and have refused to break the shackles of ignorance by seeking knowledge to understand the depths and details of contrary positions. You will always be right in your own thinking because you only read materials that support your own mistaken beliefs. Your confusion is further confirmed when you call yourself a Christian. All bible scholars are in agreement that the ending of the last book of Moses could not have been written by him. That is why I said you are ignorant and refuse to research. Obviously someone else like Joshua would've completed the end part of the last book to account for the entrance into Canaan. That portion is so small and not enough to deny Moses the authorship of the book. It is just like saying that King David didn't write the book of Psalms because a few chapters in Psalms were written by other people e.g. psalm 73 which is referred to as "A psalm of Asaph" or that King Solomon didn't write the book of Proverbs because the last 2 chapters: chapter 30 and 31 were written by Agur (clearly stated there) and King Lemuel (also stated).
You know nothing about the Bible except what you have ignorantly and stubbornly chosen to believe. You would do yourself a world of good to at least study the arguments and position of bible scholars before propounding your theories and hypotheses

Absolutely no contradiction. Adam was created last on the 6th day.. Who told you Eve wasn't created that same 6th day? The important point to note is that all other creatures had been created before Adam and there was no help meet for Adam amongst them which made God create Eve for him. There was simply a summary of the 1st to 7th day after which details were given about the creation of Eve.

There you go again misquoting me.. there are both Hebrew manuscripts as well as Aramaic ones.. the Hebrew ones contained the tetragrammaton "YHWH" which was the name of God without the vowels.. this was because the Jews wanted to reduce the frequency with which the name of God was mentioned and so took out the vowels to discourage/ prevent the mentioning / taking the name of the Lord in vain..

Different languages translates to contradictions You clearly have a reasoning deficiency! What determines contradiction is the content and not using more than one language.. Aramaic was a generally spoken language in those days which cut across national borders.. A simple research would cure your ignorance but you seem to enjoy your pitiful state of unlearnedness. And regarding your argument that Moses alone used several languages, that is again a product of your ignorance. Most of the modern versions of the Bible use Jehovah which is Aramaic. They didn't choose the Jewish rendering which is Yahweh. Moses himself wrote only in Hebrew but there were of course translations into Aramaic by ancient copiers/translations of the pentateuch (the 5 books of Moses).

El is a general term for God and not a name... Just like Elohim.. Yahweh is the name of God in Hebrew language. Aramaic was also a popular language in the middle East and Jehovah is the Aramaic rendering of the name of God. Adonai simply means lord and not a name.. instead of just arguing and arguing you need to educate yourself adequately on the topic

I didn't say all stories in the old testament are myths, I used the word "most".....and I gave examples and mentioned that the Babylon incident happened but it's just among the few that actually happened......it is said that the writers of the Bible actually existed in that time and mixed reality with myths to drive home their thoughts and views, Israelites were never slaves in Egypt, I will say that anywhere any time and will defend it too, David was never the king of the whole isreal, he ruled a small hilltop community which was even far from Jerusalem, his palace is located on that hilltop with proofs, the wall of Jericho never fell, the Israelites never travelled through the wilderness and desert on their way to canan.....these are some of the many bible stories that's just plain myth, every religion have their own myths written in their own books and Judaism is not an exception(they are the owners of the Torah), the aim of these stories is not about whether it happened or not, the main thing is u learning something meaningful from the story, the Bible is not a book of history, it's a book of morals.....
also note this, that the Bible mentioned an actual place and an actual event, then adding a story to it does not in anyway mean that story it's true, I could write my own account and stories with the aim of teaching good morals and mention buhari's leadership in the article, that doesn't in anyway justify my article or show that my story is real......many nairaland fiction authors mentions present happenings in their stories, that doesn't make the story non-fiction.

you still don't get it. they dont always happen by themselves and therefore they don't have to follow your projected time frame for their occurrence. furthermore war and development of biological nuclear chemical weapons of mass destruction are human related and humans and well as nature are susceptible to control by spirit forces.
p.s. fire and sulphur that destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah were not from a volcanic eruption.. the Bible says Jehovah rained fire and sulphur "out of heaven".

you seem not to understand that these so called natural occurrences of yours can be controlled by spirit forces. even heathen religions believe in sango the god of thunder and even Thor for the Europeans. God sent fire and sulphur to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. God sent the 10 plagues to Egypt through Moses.. they didn't just happen. God sent an angel who caused pestilence as punishment and approximately 80,000 Israelites died. the cause of the cause is the cause of the effect (causa causae est causa causati). you must always look to the original cause. both good and bad spirits control elemental forces. if also there is a nuclear war that annihilates the world, it will be due to the human factor as influenced by malevolent forces.. you need to broaden your knowledge. even if you won't agree with a contrary position at least understand it. go learn about eschatology and the human factor in the course of the world's history
