They really came prepared. What really could have been their motives? Kidnap? Political foes in disguise?

The police needs to quiz them seriously and get to the root of this matter.

Babalawos:
Spiritual signs are subtle messages to humans about a future event that will take place.

Humans are scared of death. We all know it's coming for us at some point but we're still terrified of it. Because of the finality of death, people look for signs and omens of its inevitable arrival so they can either escape it or embrace it.

These 10 death signs are based on real experiences. If you're looking to dodge death, then maybe you should take a look below and keep an eye out for these signs:

10 SIGNS YOU ARE ABOUT TO DIE

(1) Ambulance: If an ambulance is parked outside of your building accidentally, death is nearby.

(2) Funerals: If you accidentally come across a funeral procession, you have to turn and follow it for at least four steps to avoid sudden death.

(3) Owl: Owl hooting in your neighborhood is a sign of death and bad luck ahead. Also if owl hoots right above your head or home, death is sure to come for you or your household.

(4) Black Cats: If a black cat meowing in your house at midnight is a sure sign of death and if a black cat crosses a funeral procession, someone in that funeral gathering will die within three days. Also if anyone sees a black cat cross the road at night, the person will die few days later.

(5) Cemetery: Be careful when walking in cemetery. If you fall while walking in a cemetery, death is almost certainly coming for you.

(6) Birds Flew Inside Your house: If a bird enters your home unexpectedly, it's a sign of death coming.

(7) Black Crows: Spotting six or more black crows means death is nearby.

8. Black Snakes: Spotting two black snakes together means that a death in the family is coming.

(9) Bees: If bees begin swarming on a rotting tree on your property, death is coming for you or someone close to you.

(9) Mirrors: If an undisturbed mirror suddenly falls and shatters, death is nearly.

(10) Death Speech: If you start talking about death often or if you are interested in death discussion, death is nearly.

This book really brings back memories of life in the village... It is very surprising that most Urhobos do not seem to care about their origin. Every writer's roots are very important in understanding his or her work. Scionofurhobo, you have made us proud. The Urhobos share similar linguistic and cultural features with the people of Edo hence they are regarded as being part of the Pan-Edo or Edoid group.

It's petty. Don't play politics of folly with a worse situation we are in already. We need people who can proffer solutions to the shit we are already in. Not some court jesters trying to prove what is not relevant to the situation or even necessary. What are we fighting exactly?

Religion / Re: Theism And The Pettiness Of God by sonoforogun(m): 4:13pm On Apr 01, 2017
Wao! This is really interesting... I have always wondered, "Why did God create such a vast universe and other planets if there is only life on Earth?". I mean, why would God create this huge universe, if He was primarily interested in His relationship with one species occupying a tiny planet? It's absurd! However, we are learning still as there are many things we don't know yet.

Health / Re: Doctors Declare State Of Emergency At The University Of Benin Teaching Hospital by sonoforogun(m): 2:31pm On Mar 31, 2017
Shame! Mighty UBTH and indeed the general health system in Nigeria is in shambles. This place is a mess. We appreciate the efforts of these medical practitioners to sanitize UBTH which is within their sphere of influence. I wish other teaching hospitals in Nigeria and the government in general will declare a state of emergency in the health sector. So many shady and commercial Shylocks operating in the system with thousands dying daily in our hospitals as result of general inefficiency in our country.

The OP is right. From the his points, it is clear that the bill when passed into law will not favour anybody in the long run.
The honourable lawmakers should be tabling bills that will alleviate the poor masses. Enough of these religious hypocrisies.

Education / Re: JAMB Important Information To All Newly Admitted Candidates For 2016/2017 by sonoforogun(m): 7:17pm On Dec 01, 2016
Why is it that JAMB are so dull? I assisted a friend's daughter to print her result slip and they requested we register with their portal. After registration, we were directed to make payment, which I did conveniently. Just yesterday, I tried to print Admission letter for a neighbour and following past experience, we registered a new account in her name, but despite all efforts, the payment was rejected.

Now, if everyone is required to have ATM card that is enabled for online payments in order to do any business with JAMB, then many people, especially those in rural areas will be disenfranchised by this new policy from JAMB, where once an ATM card is registered in their system, you cannot use to make payment for any other person. Even the bank payment option is worse as the banks visited: Access Bank, First Bank, Ecobank, all claimed ignorance of the service. I tire.
Business / Re: Have You Ever Been Scammed Before? by sonoforogun(m): 6:11pm On Dec 01, 2016
Yes. And very recently too. You can find my experience below:

I wish to bring to the notice of the general public the fraudulent activity of an online based company -
Aspireplus Global Resources, that sells "used" Exams Checker Cards online via http://cardstore.com.ng/.

I bought a NECO card from Aspireplus Global Resources, only to discover to my utmost surprise that the
card was USED already. Immediately I contacted VoguePay Support, who processed the payment, to inform
them of the development. I also attached screenshots of the payment made and also the message from NECO
stating that the card has already been used by another candidate!

VoguePay replied and told me that though my payment was facilitated by VoguePay, there is a need for me
to contact the merchant (i.e. Aspireplus Global Resources - managers of cardstore.com.ng) from whom the
purchase was made. And for the past three days, I have been trying to call their support line (08165602301),
and it is either unanswered or switched off. Only God knows what their problem is. Why sell a used card that
is completely useless to the buyer?

After a follow-up mail from me intimating VoguePay of my efforts and inability to reach the merchant
(i.e. Aspireplus Global Resources), VoguePay later contacted me and advised that I approach my bank to
request reversal of the funds. But is it possible for my bank to retrieve money already paid out and
receipt issued with transaction ID?

Though, I feel helpless in this fight, I wonder how many others feel helpless and just give up because
there was nothing they could do? Just imagine how many people may have lost money to this criminal act
from Aspireplus Global Resources aka cardstore.com.ng simply because there was nothing they could do?.

For me, it is not about the money, but for the fact that any binding contract must be followed up
and adhered to, unless there is a breach of trust, which is an indictment on Aspireplus Global Resources
aka cardstore.com.ng.
