Sandy is just laying the groundwork for a proper negotiation settlement with whoever takes office in 2027, and simply holding down the PDP presidential mechanism for Wike ahead of 2031.

That party now realistically belongs to Wike. Even if he doesn't contest on the 2031 presidential ballot, he'll simply project a northern candidate and most probably deputize him while prepping himself for 2039 when power rotates back to the South.

Wike is borrowing Tinubu's template to chart his own long term political course, but he'll lose control even before the 2031 elections because of his habitual recklessness.

⚡Belarusian state media says Belarus and the U.S. have reached an interim agreement following negotiations with Trump envoy John Coale.

The U.S. will lift sanctions on two Belarusian companies in exchange for the release of 25 people.

Coale said the two sides had made significant progress in their talks.

These people still don't want to understand that Donald Trump's America is not capable of keeping agreements.

If Wike is truly more powerful than 33 govs of the ruling party while he's not president then that makes him almost equal to the president if not more. Because even the president cannot claim to be more powerful than 33 govs. Believe it or not, if the 33 govs mean it, they can engineer the impeachment of the president.
So it's either the 33 gov is a facade and the govs are not all in same tune which is obviously the case or the President is sabotaging his own party for his personal benefit which will be unheard of in Nigeria

I lucidly said he has "more electoral value and pull" than the rest of the governors. I didn't say he's more powerful.

Do I need to spell everything in black and white before you understand what that statement means?

In a hypothetical Nigeria where elections are free and fair, Wike is useless to Tinubu. But in the sordid reality that is our today's Nigeria, Tinubu will effortlessly throw away any of those 33 governors just to have Wike right where he is.

Despite all of Wike's controversies in the three-plus years that this administration has held sway, have you ever heard or seen the Iragbiji man caution, rebuke or even breathe a word of disapproval to the Obio-akpor terminator😹?

Realistically, I have no love lost for Wike. His kind of toxic politics doesn't resonate with my concept of what democracy should look like, so there's no need calling my knowledge of politics to question.

However, it is worth stating that he currently has more electoral value and pull than the 33 governors you just referenced. Apart from Rivers, he is the only politician who's corrupt and insensitive enough to do Tinubu's all-round dirty work in Abuja and as far as the entire collation process terminates at the Inec HQ.

Tinubu himself knows this, very reason he handpicked the man for that ministerial role and has had to turn a blind eye to all his overbearing excesses, until after the elections. That's only when Wike will become surplus to requirements, irrespective of the administration that occupies aso rock next.

People like Wike feed fat from controversy. He consciously creates drama to maintain scenic relevance, regardless of who's on the receiving end.

When he was antagonizing politicians of other parties, the APC beneficiaries were clapping in glee. But as is always the case for his kind of humans, they'll definitely turn their attention in-house by the time they run out of external enemies.

Now that Fubara has quietly succumbed and he realizes Obi and his crowd are not engaging his theatrics, he'll descend on his fellow APC goons.

It is now our turn to sit back and enjoy the reality tee-vee show from the production stables of Aso rock😹🔥.
