Let us even be charitable and assume that only 30% of its population is poor, a figure far below reality. What is 30% of an estimated 1.2 billion Indians? A very elementary calculation yields roughly 400 million. How, in any universe, can 130 be greater than 400?

And that is without even factoring in China, where it is laughable to assume that everyone is wealthy. So what exactly is he trying to accomplish with this compulsive habit of flinging obviously baseless statistics around? Truly, one can only sigh. Nawao.
