felixtare:He hasn't exactly said anything inappropriate that warrants abuses. He simply stated the unpalatable facts of the matter. Most of the cows roaming the roads and streets of Nigeria are not owned by the nomads. They're just the paid hands catering to the cattle, which belong to highly placed elites in the society. And with Nigeria being a lawless country where the rich get away with everything, it's difficult to expect government officials to act decisively in curbing the menace, seeing how their actions will amount to hurting the interests of their comrades in lawlessness. 1 Like |
