40 is too old sef. Just hit 29 and see the pressure. You people need to face the reality, when you log off NL you know what’s good in your hood. You can marry at 60 but is that ideal? When your children are 12 you’ll be on your death bed. Commot jare.
my dear am in my late 20s and I don't remember anyone telling me to go marry. Got a good paying job and I have lots of girls I can woo if I wish. Lots but no pressure.

some of my colleagues who are 5 years younger and many who are older and much much older are already in panick mode and am just using them to play always grin grin grin

Believe me, apart from my mum, I don't think there are any good women in Nigeria.
If perhaps I get a chance! I will marry a non Nigerian woman. kai! even Small Juliet is visiting Uncles and friends in Abakaliki, Owerri, Ebonyi, Abj, Lag etc. The worst is 9ja women lie a lot and form nonsense.
keep quiet.

Do you know your mom before she married? except she is over 45 or 50 then I can classify her as old school moms and even at that they still had hoes during their time.

My brother, our older mother's didn't have the opportunity like this generation, if they had they probably will be like our generation. Nothing special. Its human thing. undecided

Safiaa:
you are not exempt from pressure, final. Being 48 and single is not an advantage to you. Accept it and move on.
the pressure on a 40years old man is equivalent to that on a 28years old girl and when a girl gets to 40 she is literally expired. As a man I can marry even at 60. Don't deceive yourself.
RomanceRe: Why Are Men Scared Of Getting Married? by SonsOfLiverpool(m): 11:36pm On Apr 17, 2018
Not worth the stress honestly, life alone is stressful enough.

Too selfish, they never think of the stress someone goes through, only about themselves every time.

I wish I don't get married because am already seeing divorce case and I would be so happy but family pressure.

Ok the plan is, Get married, have some kids find a way to divorce and live my life single in peace. She can find her way to wherever she likes. when we are older, she can come back cos I'll need someone to cook at such old age.

Live happily every after.

It won't go well with dstv.... They've used this sham of a show to rake in well over 2.5 billion naira from light brain Nigerians

Do the maths.... About 8million votes per voting session and each vote costs #30. Remember they've had more than ten voting sessions.

You guys should wise up... why can't they just allow you vote once at the end of the show for your preferred candidate or whatever you want to call it? What's the point of voting same person over and over again?

Most Nigerians are fools
I tire.

Funny part is, if it's for a just course these same youths will be very relecutant to spending a dime. But voting away 30 naira sevrally is OK.

Think of the social benefits this billions of naira can do to help disabled or less privileged people.
We copy things that are usually not beneficial to our society thereby moving faster than our shadow.

Thank you.

Many Ladies say am stingy I just laugh it off anytime they make such statement. It is only someone they can't manipulate they call stingy.

Why will I with all my responsibilities give free money to a lady who adds no value to my life, who thinks I should give her only because she is a Lady with an asz full of sh!t.

Beats my imagination. cool

I quite agree. Like in Port Harcourt were I reside there are no clearly marked out housing/tenancy laws that are enforced.

The government has hardly done anything to alleviate the plight of the masses with regards to housing despite the exponential population growth.

The last government backed low-cost housing project executed in Rivers State was done almost 20 years ago while the ongoing public/private partnership housing project (Rainbow City) is going to be too elitist when completed, for a town with massive low income earners.

Aside that effective mortgage laws also need to be reviewed to stop this accommodation issue
I guess we are on the same page sir.

It's really nice talking with you. Would love to say much but am quite busy though.

Do follow back. Friends?
CareerRe: What % Of Your Salary Pays Your Rent? by SonsOfLiverpool(m): 3:06pm On Apr 11, 2018

Personally I think it's the Nigerian greed factor.

You sure sound like a Landlord now (no offense). Let's be honest, judging by the amenities and infrastructure available around most residential areas we can agree that most of these accommodations are overpriced beyond reason.

It's only in Nigeria a Realtor wants to recoup his investment almost at a go. Yet he will be unwilling to carryout his own obligations in maintaining the property.
am not a landlord lmao.

However, you are right about the greed factor but remember greed is not a crime under law.

The fact that government has neglected their supervisory obligation in the housing sector cannot be under estimated, this has made many people capatilize on the excess demand for these houses to exploiting prospective buyers.

Remember when the last hurricane took place in America, goods were sold 5 times their prices due to demand and supply relationship. The government stepped in and I really can't re call how it went about.

Greed is in every human, Potentially to a larger extent. But, you can agree, if there were enough housing to cater for the large number of people in Lagos, no amount of greed or government neglegience will hold the price up.

I just weak bro.....Lagos Landlords are heartless
Don't blame them. It is the high cost of living in lagos, demand for these houses and limited supply that drive these things up.

Trust me, if you were a landlord you might do same or worse.

It's business.

"Air conditioned taxi"

Is that the problem of Abuja residents? Smh.

Nigeria is a basket of shame with our stupid policy makers.
Abuja is the FCT which automatically attracts people from all corners of Nigeria.

They must try everything possible to keep as much people out of the city and the most effective way is to make live expensive.

It's a good move. A lesson leant from the Lagos scenario.

I will not let my enemy travel on jebbar road let alone my family...at least not with public transport...that road is notorious...I am certain this accident was caused by recklessness on the part of the driver...

I tell you, that road is really bad. Crazy how drivers speed up in such condition.
Bad govt. Bad road.
