During my time, u have to be 18years and above before you can be admitted into the university unlike today where some children will not even finish their SS3 and instead write GCE straight just to get admission. If the Nigerian male is not a hypocrite, then that means they must be telling the truth when they say marriage favors women more right? That means when they say men shouldn’t marry but have babymama’s instead, it makes sense seeing as marriage is disadvantageous to them (men).

Why then do they attack the women who speak against marriage. These women are preaching for the same ultimate goal that they have. Still waiting for my answer. Probably won’t be getting it because you’re trapped now.

The male are speaking against it because they need it. Everyone needs a partner. Bitter people like the lady are those that claim don't need a partner even when this person has a husband.

You should know comment sections filled with emotional rants both from males and females so I still stand by my point, the males are not hypothetical in "this aspect" as earlier pointed.

This thread proves that men need women but the question is, how many women will accept such even when we all know the lives or well being of an average Naija girl depends on Marriage. That is my point.

When the male says marriage favours women, you should understand that the major issue in Nigeria is financial one, that is the major issue affecting everyone, the female have it easier in that regard.

Poverty has affected the mental capacity of both parties we don't think straight again. Nevertheless, the female are still more hypocritical to their environment which includes accepting like threads as such, the importance of marriage.

It’s a pervasive norm that I’ve come to observe. Any woman whether single or married who has even the slightest negative thing to say about marriage is quickly and harshly shouted down by guess who? Guys. Yep. The same guys that supposedly have everything to lose by getting married. Let them keep fooling themselves.

When the truth is that women have to give up a lot more than random sexual encounters. many times what they give up include their life goals and plans in order to get and stay married.

Girls don't marry for love, everyone wants money so why complain when the relationship goes south? Are you saying we men have better lives because we don't grow older quickly?

Why do we have men die earlier than women if their lives are more miserable? When we talk about what we face pre and after marriage you ladies say its normal. You can't eat your cake and have it.

How can I be told to man up, do things for her, make her feel good, buy gifts, propose so what does she do during the dating? and you expect me not to feel like a god?

99% of the women in the aforementioned marriages contribut at least 60% of the financial burden in the home...I have heard an earful with complaints from them on how their husbands are not bringing in much financially...

They do all the house chores,cook,take care of the kids,work and bring in more money than their husbands.Most married women will not open up to you about the stress they are going through in other to 'cover their husbands unclothedness'..but the mega stress is Real!!!!...And the men very ungrateful and difficult.

Insurance should be made compulsory for every one and everything has to be insured that is what is done in developed countries. In Nigeria, u will tell a man to insure his cargoes against uncertainty, he will tell u that his pastor has backed his business in prayer.

When my car was stolen in 2014 at the airport, it was replaced by cornerstone insurance within a month, since that day, I have insured all my properties under different covers, I even have Health Insurance for my kids. I don't want any story .... Insurance should be encouraged, it really helps.
