you should really run away from any processor with U at the back. Though the specs are mad, but that ultra power saving (U) killed it. The laptop will have a long battery life, even reaching 9hrs, but it will sacrifice processing power for that. It won't be able to handle high graphic games because it will priotize saving battery power above using lots of processing power to render what your game requires.

I intended buying a low budget laptop with this specs : Intel Core i7 (3rd Gen) 3540M
3 GHz
Intel HD Graphics 4000

my question is can this laptop run some low end games and if yes please what type do you recommend from adventure, sport and combat fighting genre






please note that I'm a light gamer who loves to play video games with my spare time

The laptop specs are not bad. I will recommend almost all pre 2014 games should work fine. Except for exceptional cases where the game graphics are too high spec, pair that laptop with at least 8gb of ram and you are good to go. For adventure games i have got far cry 2,3. Prince of persia forgotten sands, rage,borderlands 2 and 3, assassins creed 1,2 and 3. For action games call of duty 2,3 and 4, battlefield 2 and 3, max payne 3, dmc and prototype 1 and 2. That should do for those genres.

I just finished Rage,Wolverine Origin,Bionic Commando,Battlefield Bad Company,Saints Row 3 and Sniper Elite V2 on pc.

Gombe, as far as this idea of yours is applicable on pc, its a welcome one. I would really like it for one, 9000 naira is no joke.

Bros Good day, its like God sent you to me. I beg, can you send the execution file (.exe) of that your borderlands 2 to me. The execution file is the icon you double click to begin the game on your pc. I had a virus on my laptop that wiped most of my exe files. Please if you have Just cause 2, Trine 3 and Assassins creed 3, can you send their exe files as well. My email is supersonyc20@gmail.com. I also saw you playing blur, twale sir, that game frustrated me in the later stages and my anger couldnt take it anymore. So i just park the thing for one side. Please anyone else with the exe files of those games could please help out.
