Forget club form, Moses Simon and Senior man Kelz will always be an integral part of this current super eagles team

Nigerians don't give a damn about your country but you guys are obsessed with Nigeria. You know everything going on in our dear nation.
There are many foreigners, especially your citizen all over Nigeria but you know what, Nigerians have high self-esteem we see foreigners as visitors meant to be cared for, unlike other Africans.
The more reason most are now speaking, dressing and behaving like us.
In Ghana, we have banks, churches, and industries. Your upcoming musician can't blow up unless they sing or speak like us. Our music and movies are topping charts in your country and there's of Africa.
Without our gas which your government is taking on credit (Too poor to pay for it), you won't even have that electricity in your country that can't even power all the companies at Agbara, Ogun State.
Still, most of your cities don't have adequate electricity (dumsor) and water.
Is that not a shame for a country with a population of Lagos?

What can be associated with a Ghanaian if not inferiority complex and loudmouth?
Your cedis is 8400 to a dollar. Are you not ashamed of your country and yourself?

Yes, Nigeria is not where it suppose to be but don't ever compare us to your shithole country.
The number of people working in Nigeria civil service alone is twice your total population.

You don't even have one standard stadium, you are here shitting on our page.

Almost all the good things in your country are owned by Nigerians and you are here ranting.
The energy you are using to hate on people who don't give a f.. about you, use it to save your country's falling economy.
We are using ours to save our own, we won't help you as we did 40 years ago and still doing!

Comrade, be calming down abeg grin

IDENNAA:

This is not a matter of passion , because you cant be more Nigeria than a Nigerian. We have a culture and a style and that must be upheld. Your white man almost ruined our football culture and passion. I was so frustrated with your white coach I nearly gave up on watching SE play. Thats what a foreigner will do to your legacies , though , not all.

If Rohr was in charge Onyekuru , Nwakali , Olayinka will never be invited but these are the people who are flying Nigeria's flag and will marry a Nigerian woman to continue our culture. There are issues tied into these than you could see.

I am not saying don't invite foreign born but why must it be the leftovers and not the best. Are we INFERIOR to England ? I am very confident England doesn't have more talents than us, they are just better organized.

And , you are wrong about foreign born dominating the Nigerian team , because we all our big guns are Naija born and these foreign borns are just spectators that will never displace the main players. Secondly , no top flying English player will ever agree to lace booth for Nigeria.

Iwobi is struggling to stamp his presence in a mid table club.

Aribo's plays in lowly rated Scottish

Ajayi Championship.

Maduka a disaster waiting to happen.

Ekong is benefiting more from Nigeria; very easily replaceable.

Aside Ebuehi and Aina both who could be easily replaced Nigeria has the full potential to groom a pool of talent that could rule the world....England can only dream of these. So , I am proud of the talent that exist in our system and I don't think we need any foreigners to help us play better, unless if you want to help some rejected English players of Nigerian descent.

Bros, foreign born, local born ...are Nigerians not Nigerians? Do you mean to say a Nigerian born in Lagos is more Nigerian than a Nigerian born in Oslo? If that's what you mean then I'm sorry to say I'm disappointed in you.

An European lady once said to me in in our pure pidgin English "Na black man wey dey always claim victim to racism dey practice racism pass"

We need to start seeing ourselves as one, one people, one human, irrespective of races and colour

And "our charity", I believe, should begin from home

Cameroon are playing nonsense today from what I've seen so far. The Tunisia I saw against Mauritania will comfortably dispatch this Cameroon side, let alone us.
The game just started na
Remembered how we played nonsense in the early minutes against Sudan? Besides, cameroun already won the group, so you can't judge them with this match
When I said they would be a hard nut to crack, I didn't mean they were better than us, I was talking about the host and home factors.
Tunisia is good but we would easily outplay and defeat them(remember last AFCON)

I jus checked the standings now, as it stands B/E/F is fully represented by the following teams respectively
Malawi/S-leone/Tunisia, with Tunisia leading the chart on top 3placed team....if Tunisia wins their last match they will move to second position leaving Malawi/S-leone as teams we may likely meet
That's right but don't forget Algeria can be in the mix too if they manage to defeat Ivory coast by a goal margin

I don't know why I'm even bringing up this permutation convo tbh, the eagles I saw against Egypt will outplay and defeat any team in this AFCON. it's only Cameron that may be a bit hard nut to crack but I still don't think they stand a chance against us

All things being equal, Nigeria na confirmed favourite for the trophy

Yes, head-to-head is applicable in this AFCON.
That's what I thought too ...that means we've topped the group but may likely meet Algeria or Tunisia and if we are lucky, Malawi in the next round

The job has just begun

Your first question is a no, we not confirmed as table toppers now because if super eagles loose by a goal margin we will be on +2, while Egypt winning by 3 goal margin they will top us and be on +3

These are the rules though

Going by Rule 1, if Nigeria and Egypt are level on points, Nigeria edges them by virtue of their win against Egypt.

If Nigeria and Egypt had escaped with one point each, that is when Goal difference would have come into play.

Cc @sophtcopy

Ok ...thanks

Quick question pls,
Has Nigeria topped the group to qualified for the quater final with 6 points in hand? Even if Nigeria lose to E. Guinea(not possible tho) and Egypt beat Sudan with a wide goal margin

Simply put, is the head to head rule still applicable in AFCON?
Sports / Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by sophtcopy: 11:01am On Nov 15, 2021
Though I've lost interest in Nigeria games since we threw away a 4 goals lead against lowly rated Sierra Leone but I just can't stop worrying about tomorrow's game. Something in me feels Nigeria may not qualify but I rebuke it IJN.
Normally, we should be topping these kind of groups with maximum point but everything is wrong with this Nigeria team and I feel the coach is the biggest culprit. Imagine inviting Shehu and Musa at the expense of players like Ebuehi and Dennis, recalling Ighalo and leaving out Awoniyi and Sadiq. Even his tactical prowess is below par, substition awareness too na zero. Making substitutions at late minutes when the rest of the players are tired and then you see the newly substituted players doing most of the playing alone. Another factor is we don't have a definite pattern of play, teams respect us in early minutes and defend against us but when they see that we only have teeth but can't bite, they come out in full force against us and when team attack us, we lose focus and start to play rubbish.
Another fearful factor is our home record is bad! SA beat us at home, Sierra Leone drew us at home, CAR of all countries defeated us at home.
That tommorrow match ehn, if the boys looseguard, we no go qualify o but I pray they make us happy in the end

I hate it. I’m 41, never married, no kids.

I’ve been close…twice. But ended both relationships when they were caught cheating.

I’ve dated several men since then, most older than me, and they seemed to be in no hurry to even be in a committed relationship. Which is crazy to me that these men are mid-40s and still trying to hangout with the guys and party. I met a whole guy group of friends in Houston 2 years ago…all single, all 36–45 years old. They were throwing house parties during the quarantine…parties!!

When I was in grade school, I was told to get a degree, don’t get pregnant, just enjoy being single, make friends, keep dating, and the right man will find you.

Now that I have two degrees, traveled the world, developed hobbies, and avoided pregnancy…my doctors are telling me to just be a single mom because I’m running out of eggs as I type this message.

I beat teenage pregnancy to be considering single motherhood at 41.

Damn you, parents, counselors, pastors, and everyone who gave me that advice. I can’t get that time (or my eggs) back. I hate being single at this age!!
It is not over yet and you don't have to become too desperate cuz there are wolves out there ...just a little patience dear and all will be well

let's stop being sentimental and biased about ighalo. Musa has been without a club for nearly two years and still captains the team, ighalo isn't the problem at all. btw whatever the coach thinks is right, let him do it.

small scratch everybody go dey call giroud name, the dude is dedicated and can kill himself for anything. no be favour, no be grace. he's built like that, moreover there are strikers all over ligue 1 and even gignac has been on form for years too
Musa's case is different
- Musa is the team's captain,
- Musa didn't retire

Ighalo retired from national football on reasons best known to him, he should enjoy his retirement in peace and let's the young ones continue from where he has stopped.

Ighalo is a very good player but we've got other good players too that can fully fit into his shoes, so I see no reason why we should be arguing over this matter tbh

Give this team to a good coach and watch Nigeria flog other African countries 5:0, 4:0, 6:0...
