Very reasonable. If only our leaders won't divert the money elsewhere.. before subsidy needs to be removed, so many things needs to be put in place. Salaries need to be raised, even minimum wage should go up. I can't be collecting 50k as salary, den subsidy will now be removed, what 50 will do, won't be enough anymore..

Gas price is a reflection of world's oil price. Nigeria can't be any different.

Even if we had a refinery in Nigeria that will not change significantly the price u pay at the pump as it will be stupid for a refinery owner to refine gas and sell it for cheap when he can sell at a higher price in the world market.

If u want gas price today to reflect what holds in 1960 then that is wishful thinking.


Also Nigeria has been able to sustain a stable price due to subsidy when oil price goes down money used by federal government to subsidies gas price is less. When it is high got has to budget more for subsidy.

Removing subsidy is the right step for govt to do. That removes an inefficient allocation of resources. We may have had an efficient transportation network of rail and buses if govt removes subsidy and use the money for public infrastructure.

A developed country is considered successfully if it has higher amount of its citizens using public transit to handle their daily business than use of private cars

Fuel price contribute a huge part, to the micro and macro economic stability of a nation..

From your own narative, I can tell you no one wanted to kidnap you. That man most likely needed your help for real. Unfortunately, our barins have been warped up in Nigeria due to lack of trust among people.

Let me tell you; I was robbed on the expressway in 2008 early in the morning around 4.30am, and before the thieves got at me I ran across the other side of the road and there was this man with a peugeot car driving past. The man took a glance and saw what was happening and he knew I was being pursued by people. But when I waved him to stop and signaled help he wanted to carry me, stretched his hand to open the door for me but midway he hesitated and sped off. He wasn't just sure whether I genuinely needed help.
Alone, on the other side of the road the thieves ran over to get at me but I ran across the other side again. We did this for like 3 times until the thieves spread themselves on both sides of the road and blew me down and robbed me.

The point I want to make here is the driver that hesitated to carry me probably think I was one of the thieves. He will probably go home and start telling people how thieves wanted to trick him to stop on the expressway.

This is very related.. mine was at nicon junction. They will stop you to ask for an unknown direction.. my colleague was robbed at Sherston junction some days back..

bros, go for z30. It has 4G, unlike s4. Z30 run most android apps. S4, u keep updating one useless app or the other. I have a z30, and I was using s4, along side it (before I changed it to an iphone). Talking from experience, my s4 gets hot when playing games. And I want to bliv it reacts to d weather. Wen it's sunny, it's gets so hot. My z30 is still intact, despite all the Fallings. This is where durability counts..only that android has more apps Dan bb 10. My colleague's s4, wen he takes a pix, his fone shuts down.

I personally suggest u go for the z30. If u will go for an android phone, go for xperia z2, or HTC one. Those are the phones that could match z30, in terms of durability. Unlike the s4.

I suggest z10. Far better than z3.
