The film was entertaining. Not bad at all.

By Nigerian movie standard easily a 7/10.

if you believe that story then you’ll believe anything. He said she was in school when she got preg. But he expected her to be working while she was nursing.
He states that she was upstairs when the police came, but he locked up the bungalow when they left.
Poster has cooked up a story.

Agreed that the story has a couple of holes. Is this not plausible in Nigeria?

Or are you people saying that a rich man cant remove anybody (including wife, children or family members) from their premises in that manner?

In fact one can get this done with100k Naira or less.

You can easily verify that from the number plates, fyi most of the cars I post are less than a year not all.

Okay. Forgive the skepticism, I have found that most car dealers are silly liars.

If I may ask, why are people selling a less than 1 year registered car?

If you really intend to sell this car then you need to state why it cost way more than the market average.
Like post its comprehensive VIN report so it speaks for itself. Else you're on a long thing.

Politics / The Revolt Against Nigeria And The Biafra Without A Plan! by SouthernTaliban(m): 5:58pm On May 30, 2021
Things are not the same as before.
Almost every region of Nigeria is in crisis today the most pressing being the all-out fatal confrontation between the Nigerian forces and IPOB.
With the redeployment of military formations and artillery from the conflict-ridden North-East zone to the South-Eastern part of Nigeria, there is no doubt that the federal government has prioritized tackling the resistance in the South East over the plenty of security challenges in other parts of the country.

The rationale for this decision seems obvious; the uprising in the South-East borders on secession. Many agree that the overt use of force to resolve this problem is not well thought out and is unlikely to yield the desired result.
The clamour for secession is not new but has become deafening recently due to years of misgovernance, injustice and the state loss of legitimacy. Many Nigerians have grievances against the state and therefore sympathize with non-state actors attacking government agents and facilities.

The attack of government property and agents is rising very fast nationwide. The activities of the ''Unknown Gunmen'' is a good example.
But are these gunmen genuinely unknown? do they operate in a void, don't they live with people, have family and friends and known in their communities?
Your guess is as good as mine.

However, a conflict on the decision to take arises for the people; do they look on while the militias fight their common enemy or rat them out to protect their region?

Most people are seriously suffering all over Nigeria already anyway, so the incentive to take the last line of action is missing. A less expensive suggestion for getting out of this quandary is possible, however. The following paragraphs lay it bare.

As of today, not every person in the East supports IPOB's secession goal; some sceptics fear the uncertainty and chaos that may arise if it materializes; others are indifferent. These groups common enemy is the present system of government and their agents by extension. Herein lies a strong incentive for the sustainable resolution of this challenge.

Like others in developed societies, Nigerians don't care about the system of government in place or who rules over the country; people just want the system to function correctly; evident by the security of lives and property, just and timely dispensation of justice, improved welfare and inclusion. These critical factors are missing in the present Nigerian state. The structures, policy and laws that guide our conduct and actions(the constitution) must be redesigned to foster these essential factors critical for development.

The executive arm of government and legislature at all steps must carry out this redesigning exercise with transparency and utmost urgency. Trust is deficient in Nigerian society today, so the president and governors also need to start giving regular press conferences personally, updating people on the steps being taken to improve the status quo.

People connect better with press conferences issued by the officer in charge; it is easier to tell when a person is being sincere this way. The press releases by the presidency and co should take a back seat for now.

They also need to sensitize the people with deliberate campaigns outlining logical plans in motion with timelines, designed to address their challenges in the shortest possible time.

If their intentions are perceived as genuine, the post-secession weary and the indifferent easterners will have an incentive to support them.

This is the only sustainable way out of this round box.

Anything short of this approach will further exacerbate the situation.

Investment / Re: Suggestions Needed On Where To Invest N11million For 17months by SouthernTaliban(m): 11:35pm On Apr 21, 2021
The Nigerian market is really a jungle. Apart from the very many dubious characters looking to clean one out, the Naira is also too volatile.

I currently hold my savings in FX, but won't mind taking some calculated risk.

I will send you a PM request if you don't mind.

Nitric:

Quite a number of people contacted me here and through PM so I received a wide rage of business proposals from ones that were very good to some that were foolish or just downright scams.

The major issue is that they all claim not to have collateral; based on my previous experience there is absolutely nothing that will make me provide funding without unless I get a collateral or have some way to implement tight controls to secure my funds.

I did go into a partnership with an upcoming rice distributor of Nigerian rice.

To secure my funds we opened a business account to which I am the sole signatory but she receives credit alerts on the phone while I receive the email alerts so we can both keep track of payments and deposit of sales to the account.

Investment / Re: Suggestions Needed On Where To Invest N11million For 17months by SouthernTaliban(m): 4:51pm On Apr 19, 2021
Hi, did you find any viable idea?

Kindly share if you don't mind as I am also looking to invest.

Kind regards.

Nitric:
I need suggestions or proposals for investment of the sum of N14 million for a period of 23 months starting from January 2021.

All sectors of the economy are welcome excluding forex trading and other online businesses with vague processes, just make sure you can defend your proposal with evidence of past performance.

I would also consider investing in a viable business venture but would need to exit by November 2022

Modified
Please no start-ups, only businesses that are currently running and have done so continuously for at least 24 months (Agro businesses 36 months)

You must have evidence that the business is commercially viable

Also note, I am not interested in a business which you have never done before but which you think is viable because you have seen others doing it

For export businesses, your overseas client must be ready to issue confirmed Letter of Credit

For those outside Lagos you must be ready to provide a collateral that is movable or is located in Lagos. You must also be ready for at least one physical meeting where you will present your proposal and supporting documents

Additional modification
If you are contacting me for a loan please make sure you have adequate collateral for the amount you want to borrow.
I wonder how someone will expect me to give him a loan of N7 million to invest in an online business without providing collateral.

If you do not have collateral do not waste your time contacting me, I will not give you an unsecured loan even if the investment will pay ROI of 1,000%!
Politics / Re: BREAKING: Unknown Gunmen Sack Police From Uzuakoli Station, Set Facility Ablaze by SouthernTaliban(m): 10:41am On Apr 19, 2021
Perhaps the strategy of the gunmen is to wear out the already battered, moral low and over-stretched capacity of the Nigerian armed forces.
The outcome will be ugly as even the desired end of the agitators is not best achieved with this strategy. The current gloomy state of the economy compounds the situation and makes state collapse inevitable.

You guys on nairaland are really confused bunch of people .. Wetin una want sef?
Women dey financial independent, una go run away & call them feminist ,una go sey they are too independent minded . Then una see student or unemployed ladies with no money ,una go still complain sey they are olosho or leeches .Wetin una want ? One thing has to give .. Its either you have a liberal mind to date an independent woman where there is no master and slave relationship or go for the one that has no money that will be totally submissive to you ; where you can be the man of the house .
Most men prefer when they are in charge of all affairs in the home, especially in the areas of finance. They don't like it when thier women earn more than them...It makes them highly insecured and less relevant..so they rather date a woman they earn better than ..So guys what do you people want?

Most men of nowadays prefer a lady that's earns and contribute to the home bills. Nobody want carry anybody cross again.

This is a very honest opinion!

Pay online, print the necessary documents and go to their office. Everything will be done, i was there today and someone doing passport renewal did everything today including capture. No 32 page booklet available only 64page so keep that in mind when paying online. After everything you’ll get a date to come back.

When you get to the passport office, just tell them at the gate that you are meeting someone and you will call the person (if not they will harass you and try to get you to pay extra). Enter and go straight to servicom, the rest of the proCess will be explained to you from servicom desk.

Great, thank you for the insight. I'll go for the 64 pages 10years, please how long will it take in your experience. I appreciate your input. Thank you.

I went for the enrolment and data capture last week Thursday. The collection date on the enrolment slip is 15th(yesterday). After the data capture, the SERVICOM officer told me 32 pages booklet won't be available. He told me to send my enrolment ID and name after 3 weeks to any of the numbers below to confirm if my passport is available.

Hi please do you have any plug for fast capture and collection?
