Good morning, My application was transferred to VAC since yesterday afternoon and I didn't get a mail from them till now. Who has experience such.

Putting this out for those interested in cheap flight tickets. Tickets don't have to be expensive if you know where to look unless it is compulsory to use BA. I booked for someone for 10th October (Turkish airlines) and there was more than 200k difference between the price and BA.

For those trying to cut down on flight tickets, use skyscanner.net and you can save close to $700 than using BA. They might not be direct flights though and may usually have one stopover.

Did her biometric on the 9th of september. She's not happy she was not called for interview because she took days off to prepare for it. She was "very prepared" according to her. (person wey dey ment) Imagine? SMH

Don’t worry about it, I think people that submitted from September 7th are not being called for phone interview especially if your decision was made in Pretoria , I am talking from the chats I’ve been reading on here from people that got decisions from U.K. Pretoria.

So let’s hope and pray it’s positive , me I am going to stand at vi from 1pm sha waiting for collection email lol

And the insurance premium would be significantly more expensive. Best to apply for a provisional licence once you collect your BRP, do a few lessons, the theory test and then the practical test. Since you can already drive, 5-10 lessons should be adequate. The lessons aren’t essential but would be helpful.

You can download the theory test app and start studying for that now if you have some free time.

Decision made on my visa 17th September 2020 (morning)
Passport ready for collection 18th September 2020 (afternoon)

Visa stamped and approved to the glory of God. Collected same day 18th September

*During my interview I was only asked of my name and date of birth
No second interview / call as I was already prepared hearing from some people here that there would be a second interview.

It can only be God indeed He is a God that answers prayers in less than 11days of biometric I received my visa OMG
