OK,how? They used to split house of reps and even senate with the opposition. From the days of ANPP of Jang of which 2 of the 6 reps where in ANPP(including late senator Dangtong,then in house of reps), to the days of ACN Of which late Senator SATI Gogwin defeated the then,deputy Senate president, Late Senator Nasiru Mantu(plateau central senatorial district). PDP rule plateau state for 16years and APC is now in its 7th years.
How is PLATEAU STATE ALWAYS A PDP state?
Now as things stand; senate APC 2(central/southern sen. district), PDP 1(Northern). House of reps, wase(APC),Pankshin,kanke,kanam(APC),Mikang,shendam,quanpan(APC),Lantang north/south(PDP),Mangu/Bokkos(PDP),JOS SOUTH/JOS EAST(PDP)Barkin Ladi/Riyom(PDP),JOS NORTH/BASSA( formally APC PENDING THE OUTCOME of rerun election, on a later date to fill in the vacant position left by the Late Maitala).
House of assembly APC=16 of 24 members and APC Have been the majority for almost 7yrs now.

Plateau state is a PDP state
