Absolutely spot on EXCEPT APC also goes the way of PDP. sisimmi: My dear, elections are not conducted on social media. You need money (plenty of it), strategy, boots on the ground, good ground game, brain work and clarity of vision to win elections. It is a game of numbers. It is foolhardy for anyone to think that APC would be thrown away from Aso Rock just 3 years after! Those who think in that way, are politically short-sighted and fatally myopic. I will explain.
APC grew from Lagos. It then expanded and captured most of the southwest states except Ondo. Then it captured Edo and lost Ekiti. Then it captured Imo. Then, Aso Rock. With Aso Rock, it also captured 17 out of 36 States. Recently, it got back Ondo and has added Ekiti today. That means APC is in control of the finances and power of the Federal Government of Nigeria, controls 19 state government and finances! It also controls the Police, EFCC, ICPC, DSS, Army, Navy, Air Force, Civil Defence, NIA, DMI, etc. On the other hand, PDP which used to control the Federal Government and more than 24 States at a time, only has 10 States and nothing more. To make matters worse, the 10 states are being held and run by extremely unpopular gluttonous crooks with itchy fingers.
Add to that brew, is a President who has loyal followers and cult-like dedicated supporters - stuff no other politician in our common history has ever got. The outcome is a party that would rule for a pretty long time. By my extrapolation, APC would run this country for at least 20 years unbroken. If the infrastructure revival currently going on across the country gets the necessary continued attention, APC might rule for up to 5 unbroken decades.
PDP would die a natural death after 2019, just as a lot of the regular politicians would be permanently retired either back home, or to Kuje Prison. Mark these words. |

HAHAHA!
FAYOSE IS PENNY WISE AND POUND FOOLISH.
EKITI PEOPLE ARE BECOMING WISER AS THE GUBERNATORIAL ELECTION APPROACHES.
FAYOSE IN HIS EXECUTIVE RASCALITY REMOVED TAXI AND COMMERCIAL BUSES FROM THE ROADS AND STREETS OF EKITI TO PREVENT LOVERS OF DEMOCRACY FROM WELCOMING PRESIDENT BUHARI TO THE APC MEGA RALLY AND TO CREATE A FALSE IMPRESSION THAT THE PEOPLE OF EKITI PREFERS STOMACH INFRASTRUCTURE TO FAYEMI'S EMPOWERMENT AGENDA.
ALAS! APC EQUALLY OUTSMARTED HIM BY IMPORTING MORE THAN ONE THOUSAND EMPTY EIGHTEEN PASSENGER BUSES FROM NEIGHBORING OSUN AND ONDO STATES.

@ Op, I had similar experience but my wife's mother is just older than me by 10years. She was trying to influence her daughter on certain decisions, and when the issues became unbearable for me. I actually summon my mother in-law and I told her that failure for her to show up for discussion will bring her child back to her house. She couldn't come become of the fear of what I might say but she sent emissary to mediate on the matter. Can you first have the courage to summon your in-laws? If you can do that, you have conquered all fear related to their influence on your marital home.
Secondly, during the crisis, my wife attempted to attend a family party and I insisted she must not go. She dared me and left our daughter at home and saying she will attend against my will, I dropped a caveat that once she attend the party, she should forget about coming back to my house and her parent's house should be sufficient for her. Though, her mother called me on phone about the party and bla bla bla but I maintained my position, after some minutes my wife came back and she cried her heart out. That is how to be a man. |

You have some point here sha life2017: Senate President Saraki Is a Tyrant. Senate Deserve The Hoodlum Attack
Senate President Bukola Saraki has been operating like a tyrant and a dictator. Senators are given mandated by their constituencies and not by the senate president or senate committee on ethics. Senators are suppose to be opinion shapers.
Under Saraki, most of the senators have been intimidated by the senate president. The freedom of speech, freedom to agree and disagree of the senators are under attack.
Any senator who disagree with Bukola Saraki is either suspended or removed from his committee position. He is running the senate like a thug or an emperor.
I follow united state senate and congress, US senators openly attack, disagree and question the senate and house leadership . The write articles against senate and congress leaders. They grant interview criticising the senate and house leaders. I have never see a case where they are suspended because of that. Even in the UK where the Prime minister is the head of parliament is still the head of govt, member of parliaments openly oppose, criticise and attack the prime ministers. member dont get suspended for that.
Saraki need to be cut to serve. You cannot just suspend a senator who was voted in by thousand /millions of it's constituent. What the senate president is found is a coup against Nigeria democracy.
Civil organisations need to protest and demand the sack of Saraki as senate president. He is too power drunk. He is bringing disgrace to the Nigerian senate.
A senate president is like a Class prefect. He is the head among equals. He should stop acting like one emperor.
The youth, men and woman of delta state should storm the senate and ensure no plenary can hold until Senator Omo Agege is allowed to seat. The senate has no power to deny any part of delta state fair representation.
Saraki has become a monster because Buhari dont believe in bribing senators with money. Because Buhari is not sharing money and Ghana must go, the senators have become a slave to saraki because he controls the payment of thier excessive running cost. |

I did my National youth corp service in this state in 2005 and i never regretted doing so. i have visited the state at least twice after my youth service, however, my last visit in 2017 really made me fell in love once again with this hospitable and homely nature state called Akwa-ibom. The moment i touched down from the airport and my client's driver picked me and we drove down to Eket town , i felt an aura of serenity instantly and my old nexus with the environment immediately reignited. I have traveled almost every parts of Nigeria except for few states in the North-east and i must confess Akwa-ibom gave me that tourist experience. Their environment is always clean, their food usually appetizing, their weather is very friendly, their girls are the most courteous and hardworking i have ever seen on planet earth. Even though, the airport is still under construction, it has resemblance of any busy airport with planes touching down almost every 30mins. However, the level of infrastructural development does not really translate to the general standard of living of majority of the indigenes, the politicians, oil contractors/workers, militants and civil servants controls the resources of the state. By and large, the state is a darling tourist and investment destination safe for skirmishes of militancy and kidnap crisis due to the presence of oil companies around. Akwa-Ibom ayaya, ayaya anando! |

You took the guy to the cleaners with your apt explanation......kudos! princejenks: you're getting things muddled up here cos I've not read anywhere where it was said that rice exports increased forex inflow rather what happened was that we got more revenue from crude sales due to stabilized crude oil prices and supply, also,we had increased inflows of forex from investors into our stock market especially portfolio investors who took away their dollars at the peak of the recession but are now returning their investments cos Nigeria is now the toast of investors. As regards rice, probably what you meant is that we have reduced our food import bill on rice importation which has freed up foreign exchange that could have been drafted into it. Also on the stability of the naira, the cbn has always been doing this from times past,we use our foreign reserves to stabilize the naira by making sure it doesn't fall below a certain level hampering the practice of free market system but this became extremely difficult when recession set in cos we weren't getting enough dollars from oil revenues to grow a depleting reserves to be able to defend naira as we have been doing since we don't have thriving sectors like manufacturing that can bring in the dollars, besides,it was further complicated when portfolio investors took away their dollars at the slightest hint we were in a recession necessitating cbn carrying out some policies to restrict access to forex but they later relaxed it after opec and russia cut a deal to stabilize crude price by cutting supply, this led to cbn making interventions in forex market from February 2017 till date to stabilize the naira which was falling scandalously due to the activities of black marketers who sold dollars at exorbitant rates when buyers couldn't get it to buy in banks |

To show how foolish they are, the hate-filled disgruntled organisms are seriously making effort to prove how shites are not muslims, really wonder which religion is associated with "Allahu Akbar".
If Bubu had allowed them to grow wings the way gej did to bh, it is those same animals that will keep inundating the cyberspace with foolish talk about how Buhari supports them because they are Muslims, but now, in their warped logic, shites are not muslims.
They have suddenly become symphatic with their sworn enemies because of Buhari, lol.
