Phones / Re: How I Get 7gb+ For N600 On Airtel Rather Than Using Glo 6gb For N1500. by sped1oro(m): 6:53pm On Feb 08, 2016
Hello fellow nairalanders, i want to bring to your attention the presence of unscrupulous elements on nairaland who derives joy in scamming people with offers to sell cheap data share bundle. I actually fell for one last week when i was trying to buy a share data package of 4gb for N1,500. Though, i was curious about the low price of the data bundle but i verified from a guy who is an I.T guy and he said there are some cheap data package i could get for such a low price.

The scammer data guy asked that i send 1,500 MTN recharge card which i did, thereafter he became something else when i told him i couldn't get an activation for my data which he promised after sending the recharge card, he asked that i obtain an etisalat card of 500 and dial *229*my number*recharge card number# for activation, i tried this endlessly and it proved abortive.

I called him repeatedly to look into the issue and he promised to sort it out but nothing happened, the last straw that broke the camel's back was the point he asked that i send the 500 recharge card to him so he could help me to do the activation on his system, initially, i was skeptical about the move to forward the 500 recharge card but because i had bought shared-data bundle from genuine sources on nairaland gave me the courage to give him a second chance.

Having sent the card to him, i awaited for the activation of my 4gb but it didnt come, there and then, i knew i had entered 'ONE CHANCE'. I called the guy and he said i couldnt get my refund until Monday 8th Feb 2016, and when i called him he said i should instead direct my complaint to his Customer service which of course never existed. I tried reaching him thereafter and his line was acting funny.

This is high time we become extremely careful about this DATA SCAMMERS on NAIRALAND, they are on every thread making comments and advertising their offers, maybe moderators should create a section for DATA BUNDLE OFFERS where sellers could be verified before unsuspecting buyer falls prey again.

This is the guy's telephone number 08130388174 and i want whoever will deal with such scammer to be careful and exercise due diligence.

Metuh should accept this as the reward for corruptly enriching your purse with public funds. He should be kept with murder convicts because metuh has committed more than murder to this nation

NYSC / Re: How Much Did You Make During Your Nysc Service Year? by sped1oro(m): 11:14pm On Jan 10, 2016
I served in Akwa-Ibom in 2005, I made some cool cash as a corper because I had been an entrepreneur before my youth service. When I was a student, I had a popcorn business in the school and it fetches me between 1500-2000 naira daily. As a result, when I got to Akwa-Ibom the first thing I did was to identify a product or resources they have in abundance. I discovered they have Oil(both Crude and palm-oil), they also have human resources (domestic servants/maids), they have the largest crayfish market in Africa, they equally have plenty of beautiful girls/ladies ready for marriage.
I opted for the Oil and Crayfish business because it could be exported without me accompanying the goods to Lagos. Whenever I collect my allowance I saved part of it to buy crayfish at Ibaka market while the indigenes in my village supplies me 25 liters keg of palm-oil. I made so much from this business. The second business I will continue here www.hollalaycan.com. I made money in about 6 ways in my service year

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: I got two Job Offers, which should I choose? I'm Confused..... Advice Please!!!! by sped1oro(m): 11:04am On Jan 01, 2016
Any of the job will be ideal but look at the prospect of growing a business such as the start-up company. The fulfillment is long term compared to banking job which is monotonous in nature. However, you can start with the banking job to gain managerial experience.

And just about few weeks ago i was advising the late Taiwo to get married on time because it is important as a young man with potentials to have a good woman by his side. He explained to me the reasons why he couldnt marry a girl he had dated for more than 5 years and i advised him to move on and find another woman. He is such a gentle and easy going person, we attended the same higher institution and before this ugly event he was working with a friend of mine who is an Auto-engineer. May the Almighty God forgive him of all his sins and grant him eternal bliss.
This is unbearable for a dependent mother whose care is in the hands of God and his children. I hope Government would do something about the wanton destruction of precious lives by trigger happy cops. Some of these policemen needs to be subjected to psychiatric evaluations periodically, i have seen a policeman very early in the morning drunk to stupor and he was carrying a gun, I was shocked seeing him staggering on the road with the rifle loaded with ammunitions. For how long are we going to continue losing talents and human souls to unprofessional security personnels?

Business / Should You Stick To Your Present Job Or Quit? by sped1oro(m): 9:28am On Nov 02, 2015

In the month of September 2009, I decided I was not going to work as a banker again, I took the bold step to stop being an employee and becoming an entrepreneur by resigning my appointment with Guaranty Trust Bank plc even when I had the opportunity to cross carpet to other banks looking for high performers in marketing field like me. Going down memory lane, it’s been six years of sojourn in the entrepreneurial landscape, the terrain is rough, volatile, highly competitive and sometimes life threatening.

There is a common saying about winners never quit and quitters never win, this notion can most oftentimes be just wrong! Sometimes winner do quit, and sometimes quitters really do win. It’s about knowing when to hold on and when to move on, and in the labour industry, this is a lesson we all must have mastery. Related article...http://hollalaycan..com.ng/2015/09/11-genuine-reasons-why-you-need-to.html

Whenever you start a new Job, it’s usually very exciting. Its fun, it’s new, and it’s a lot easier to stick to. After awhile, the Job sometimes starts to lose your interest. It starts to get boring when you keep doing the same thing over and over again, and then it gets a lot harder to stick to.

You shouldn’t always keep working at something because if it’s going nowhere, it could be preventing you from realizing success. So many people will tell you to keep pushing no matter what – that it’s the only way to be successful. That’s not always true. Smart people know when to escape those dead ends and walk away.

Yes, winners do quit. They quit while they quitting’s good. They quit when it makes sense to quit. People who fail a lot generally fail to keep going when times get a little rough. Sometimes they’ll even keep going when they know deep down they’re fighting a losing battle. See also...http://hollalaycan..com.ng/2015/08/5-questions-to-ask-before-starting-your.html

If you train yourself, you can eventually learn to tell when you should quit and when you should keep pushing. It becomes second nature. Until then, there are a few tips you can use to decide whether or not you should maintain momentum with a specific job.

Firstly, you should ask how long you’ve been going on the present job or projects. If you’ve been going quite awhile, giving up might be a waste of the work you’ve already put in. Then again, if you’ve stuck to something for a very, very long time and you’re not seeing any germane results; would it not be ridiculous to keep going?

Secondly, you should also ask yourself if the potential rewards are worth it. If you’re over-working yourself for a job and the reward is just a tiny fraction of your efforts, do you think it’s really worth it. Will that little compensation ever be worth the mammoth amount of work you’re putting in?

However, if you’re already making some headway into becoming a decision maker in a very promising company, giving up might be a bit premature. Why give up on a major milestone when you’re already halfway to the top? See..http://hollalaycan..com.ng/2015/06/are-you-still-in-paid-employment-11.html
https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSfxclkuDKEa8Wa0cl-CAl0Spq5-2kdBScJe4SRKixKUY3ZElqz

Also, ask yourself if it’s REALLY worth it. Don’t think in terms of money - think in terms of your LIFE. You’re the one putting the time, efforts, and heart into this endeavors. If the potential reward doesn’t seem worth the hassle anymore, maybe it really is time to give up.

Finally, most of us wouldn’t be willing to sell our soul to the Devil for fame and fortune. So why would you commit your most active life to a job that does not really guarantee your future and the retirement age? If your heart just isn’t in it, consider getting out while you can.

Politics / Re: Uwazuruike Disowns Nnamdi Kanu, Radio Biafra Boss by sped1oro(m): 5:29pm On Oct 19, 2015
i have so many igbo friends but am afraid this Nnamdi Kanu will change my perception about them. Now i know Igbos can do anything because of money, all these Biafra melody we have been hearing from the past is not all about INDEPENDENCE but about MONEY. I thought this Kanu is Igbos JACK BAUER not knowing that OMOYELE SOWORE of Sahara reporters even has better African magic to dodge security personnels at the airport unlike the messiah called Kanu deceiving the Igbos. I hope he knows how Nigerian underground cells look like, someone should tell Kanu that cell in Nigeria is worse than GUANTANAMO, hen hen!. And can anyone confirm if RADIO BEER-FRAT is still transmitting. I would like to place advert there because so many people would want to listen to radio biafra now that Kanu is captured in the zoo.

I visited a friend of mine before my wedding to give him the invitation card, his daughter of 3+ was all over me and asking about the card. Funny enough, the daughter was present on my wedding day and she came over to me at the high table and said 'I HAVE COME TO YOUR BIRTHDAY TODAY'. Because of the wedding cake beside me she thought it was my birthday. Funny innocent kids.
