databoy247: I dont think its supposed to be in your proposal.Proposals basically reflects a breakdown of what you intend to do and how you intend to do it. I think it should be sent as a separate document after the nod has been given to your proposal. Its usually what you take with you to the "second" meeting.

Personally, i dont submit proposals as i get most jobs through referrals, so the person who refers me usually does all the talking on my behalf (i find it so always) and when am called, its always "how much do we pay you and can you come over and collect an advance?"
And when i go, i dont really go with "contract sheets" for signing. At the end, i keep battling for my balance payment

And most annoying is that i dont work alone. I have a team i work with (programmers and graphics experts) so i keep explaining to them when am supposed to be paying them. We truly need a restructuring of the web development industry (in this country) so both clients and developers will see it as a notable profession. I think then, clients would request for the "contract sheets" for signing even if you forget.

The bolded is your answer, it is the reason u dont get paid fully. You don't take your business seriously, why would you expect someone to take you serious. Even if someone referred you, you should be able to prove yourself worthy of the job.

We don't need a restructuring in the country, you need a restucturing of your business partern. You still treat web designing as a hobby, you need to start having a business mindset towards it.

If am a client, and you forget a contract signing sheet, i'll look for another developer.

Now, u should structure your proposal in such a way that provides the most important info first. Look at a bank account creation form, it does have a terms of service portion, but i bet you have never noticed. Pls don't ask me to send mine
