Lai has done well in delivering his LGA to his party which is the first time.But if we have to be honest, with about 3k votes, it will be very difficult to seize power from Saraki. However we must commend him for this.I am aware the candidate for 2019 is Dare Bankole, so i will advise APC to buckle up.But from my view, i doubt if you have the strength to seize power from SARAKI.

That constituency has never been Saraki stronghold..And with Lia as a minister been his Zone he did well in delivering it to APC.But with 3k winning margin, I must say that APC will.need to put in much work to defeat Saraki in Kwara which I doubt they can achieve. If you review elections in this constituency it has never been a big victory for Saraki.So let's wait till.2019 to see who triumphs .

As for gidi, BOS will win, but PDP might snatch some federal constituencies like they in 2015.

Una was chew me for here.Like i said i don't live in Kwara neither a Saraki loyalist or apologist. My observation in everything is that, this constituency has never been Sarakis stronghold.Another reason i said you APC members should more cautious is because PDP is not fielding Alatise (he lost pd primaries for irepolodun constituency) for 2019. The man on INEC Register is Dare Bankole for PDP, He is from Arandun. Though the winner has been on the ballot papers (ACN) since 2011, So Ajulo has become a household name already.

Oga I know .the results for Apc no be saraki do am...we are not talking about the party here..We are talking about the Individual strenght of Saraki ...Where was Lai in 2015...

Saying Saraki dynasty is shaking is a blantant lie.If you look at 2015 election in Lagos State, PDP won 4 or 5 seats of Lagos federal constituency. But does that mean Tinubu's influence over Lagos is dying? The answer is No.PDP won those seats because they are Igbo Dominated environs. That scenario applies to this election today.( It's a Yoruba dominated Environs).

What these means is that No GodFather can win it all every election year.

I am.not a fan of Saraki or Tinubu but the truth remains that, they would both deliver their states Next year. Besides this election is just a bye one, the main one na Feb then we can determine each party's dominance

I applied/submitted my passport for renewal of B1/B2 visa via drop box at DHL on Dec 14. It's already 11 business days and I'm yet to receive info to pick up my passport. The status has changed from "being at the embassy/consulate" to "There is no status update available for the passport number submitted" What does this mean?

Secondly, I applied for a visa for my mum for a visit/holiday. According to the info on the website, she will need a Tourism visa which is B2 as against B1/B2 since she's retired. Is this correct? If it's not, will I have to re-book her for a B1/B2? Her interview is on Jan 25.

I intend taking her with me on my next trip.

Please how many days in total did it take for your visa to be reissued?

This whole drama will end in the thrash or perhaps result in a lengthy court process at the benefit of the academia. My reason is simple, from the 2015 results only ONLY 111,534 VOTED IN ELECTION BUT 188, 588 “SIGNED” PETITION FOR RECALL. Likewise Dino won the election by a very small margin; Melaye polled only 41,120 votes while his closest opponent, Smart Adeyemi, who ran on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) but is now a member of APC, had 38,148 votes.Adeyemi challenged the outcome of the exercise at the election petition tribunal which ordered a recount. The recount showed that INEC gave Melaye more than 2,000 invalid votes. But it upheld his victory on the grounds that the number of invalid votes did not substantially alter the final results.Now, the sum of votes both candidates and five other top candidates had is 111,534. But it is doubtful that the number of actual voters in the election is way less than the 188,588 which trooped out for the “recall balloting”. (thecable.ng, 2017)

Looking at this argument , i feel what the people of Kogi west should be agitating for, is how their governor will pay the backlog of 15 months salary that the state government owes. Kogi state university has been closed for over 5 months now...I heard the strike was suspended today ( unconfirmed).So what this primarily means is that, Dino is not their problem rather its their clueless and opportunist governor who rode to stardom by virtue of Audu Abubakar's death. APC is a league of desperate politicians with no plans for Nigeria. Honestly they have recked so many businesses and Etisalat is a very good example.

Even though i am not a supporter of corruption or corrupt practices, i knew FG's case against Saraki's will be dismissed. The main reason is not about the political solution but rather its about how the prosecution presented their case.I followed this case keenly right from the inception till today and i must say that FG messed up in their investigations.The witnesses gave contradictory statements and the prosecution team at some point, had to re-examine his witness to right the wrongs in their statement. A case like this one requires a thorough investigations if indeed you truly want to win it and not a rush job just because he became the Senate President against the wish of your party.
