KanwuliaJara:looks very serene, this one must be Pacific ocean... Atlantic no fit dey calm like dat o. Love the interior decor. BTW, lost my dad recently. Looking for money ![]() |
Mee234:OK. I succumb. ... and I'm surprised I didn't know about it despite my rigorous search. Thanks anyways. |
GEJ should tread cautiously cos he may be charged with treasonable offences. He should man up and face his corruption charges... it is no news that his admin was the most corrupt (Abacha secretly stole money) because of the brazen and 'korokoro' way he allowed people make money disappear. |
Mee234:you were a student, u might not know much then. I know what I am talking about. I had to close all my accounts w/ NBM, FBN, Union, National bank and put all in WEMA.. because that was the only bank that could offer the closest service I used to enjoy abroad. Other ones followed. But whatever happened to WEMA afterwards, others overtook them. |
woodmood:the op is right. The changes started early 2005 with 2 or 3 banks and took some banks another 5 years. I am very very sure of this. mykel4god, kindly revert topic to '2004' or 'about a decade ago'. thanks |
laserjet:As a matter of fact, as at 2005 it was only in WEMA bank that you could withdraw cash from your account at ANY of their branches nationwide; which attracted N100 charge. NO OTHER BANK had this as at 2005. Union bank was worse, from my experience - old aged staff struggling with the keyboard and asking a busy younger guy for help all the time, spending like 30 minutes on 1 customer and always running out of money and asking people to come back the next day. Till today I don't have any cause to go to Union bank... I have my way of dodging to go there. I don't even think they still exist. OR DO THEY? I have never seen their ATM before ![]() |
as at 2004, Europe, UK especially was already tired of ATM, online banking and were considering inserting chips under people's skin..... But I was surprised to have arrived in this country with so much backwardness as at that time. phones, SIM cards, call tarriffs were ridiculously high and people were thanking OBJ for bringing GSM to the country. gosh! every nook and cranny of Lagos was cramped with umbrellas with a starved teenager where phone calls were made. lol what a country. |
onomeglo:my bday mate |
in other words, do not corrupt the angels |

FriedPlantain:shoroniyen ![]() church work is the hardest. if you think you have inter-personal skill and customer care skill.... try church. Is it organisationaL/planning skill (admin)you think you have? Try there. What about stress management and handling pressure? Or is it minute and report writing? public speaking and some workplace politics? And many others. You dont know shi.t. If I'm employing and i see that you have worked in ADMINISTRATIVE CAPACITY (not Ministerial) in the church at least for 2 years, I will consider you more than the rest. |
Osekele:bros, na wa o. since last year? u just come dey answer now... I don buy 2 tablets after that time. wish u the best. |
KanwuliaJara:diarisss god o last time na weekend trip, now na vacation on ship... watching u in 4D. post d picture of d ship before I believe sef.... later u go say u don retire.. |
PTV phones are real. located in Ikeja. owner is an RCCG pastor |
Bros, take it but church work is different from secular ones o. it is more demanding and needs a lot patience exercising. It is a lot of sacrifice and you have to remove your eyes on money. if you think u are just passing by, it will affect your performance. I will advise to take n keep the job. it will help u. how many jobs are even there in utako? |
I listened to Boyzone and then Backstreet Boys... West life came right after. At that time, I was already referring Westlife listeners and fans as little children. ![]() |
