Splashme: ***Modified*** 1) Nigerians should know that Justice Okon Abang is deliberately engaging in acts of derailing the Country’s democracy given the fact that his Court is not an Appeal Court that can set aside any Judgment. He has penchant for abuse of court processes and actions of legal impunity.
2) This Judge Nigerians will recall, issued Judgment against the Governor of Abia State that led to INEC re-issuing another Certificate of Return to a man who did not contest election thereby causing unnecessary hardship on the people of that State.
3) He also issued an Order to INEC to recognize Senator Sheriff’s candidates in Edo and Ondo states before they could even plan their purported congress in Edo.
4) In today’s Case, this same Judge out rightly denied the PDP representation in Court which is unheard of by serving the Plaintiff (Sheriff & Co.) who instituted the Case also as PDP (defendants). His excesses are extremely absurd, strange and unbecoming of a Judge who enjoys putting the Judiciary on the spot.

id911: I am from Oron, the same place with the Hon. Justice Okon Abang. Mr Abang needs to know that these politicians using him now for their selfish interest wld later dump him and possibly rubbish his name when he is no longer willing to do their biddings.
Some of his rulings are controversial and questionable. I think the Edo State guber election is their target; they want to destroy the opposition camp and have easy ride on September 10 |

sunnyb0b0: What do you know? Naira has depreciated to about N294 from N199 in the official market meaning that every $ the FG earns is sold for N294 against N199 previously. So, for every N199 earned initially, they are now earning N294. So the naira earnings would increase even if actual earning in $ didn't.
For example, if the govt earned $2bn in the previous month, that would be N398bn while the same earning of $2bn today would be N588bn.
You gerrit? Bros, you are intelligent, in fact, very intelligent. Weldone!!!
Tomorrow when naira depreciates further to #500 thereby increasing FAAC earnings (Nominal Income), ignorant zombies will start telling us Buhari is working |

By Gabriel Enogholase A foremost traditional ruler in Edo Central Senatorial District, the Izuware of Ujiogba, has taken a swipe at the Ehidiamen of Opoji over what he described as the latter’s denial of last Saturday adoption of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, by traditional rulers in the Edo Central. The traditional ruler noted that there was no dissenting voice when the adoption of Ize-Iyamu was raised at the meeting that was attended by 32 traditional rulers in Esan Land including the Ehidiamen of Opoji. He said, “He was not even aware that our closed-door meeting was recorded. He said we will eat the Comrade Governor’s money and vote our choice. We have the recording. As he was saying it, we knew he will still deny it. “For him now to say we do not have the right to endorse anybody is an error. On that day, I spoke my mind because we only have two teachers in the primary school in my area and two teachers in the secondary school. That is the truth,” he said. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/07/asked-take-oshiomholes-money-vote-ize-iyamu-izuware/ |
