The bible story written over 1000 years ago said Abraham visited Abimelech, a king. A name was given, a story told, a description made. That's evidence. That's truth.

From inductive reasoning, why would anyone write about their patriarch Abraham and lie that a king wants his wife? Or that Abraham bowed to him? Would a Yoruba folklore say that Oduduwa was a weakling? That's because there's truth in it. This is false. The Philistines are the first people to bring iron into the area after they migrated from Greece. The writers of the bible are people writing in iron age, not knowing there was no iron in the bronze age of the Canaanites.

The stories of the scriptures may not be accurate but they are true and they are the most reliable.

The sense I mean is that, people tell stories they received orally. So there may be the possibility of some distortions here and there especially when they are spoken in a different language and require interpretation.

For example, the same word may be technically used for both bronze and iron or any metal in the original Aramaic.

It's also possible that the Israelites have Canaanite origins because even the Bible explains that they moved to Egypt from Canaan. The bible also mentioned Israelites having to go to Philistine countries to get iron weapons.

My point is we can find the accuracy without making it sound like the story is false. You used the word false.

4. Not paying tithe is not a sin and in fact God is not interested if you do. It's entirely your volition.
