I can see you are using curse as a criteria to know a man of God. Have you forgotten your parents can also curse you? Even an herbalist. Curse is not a criteria for a true man of God. Anybody praying for Nigeria is a fool and a bastard.

Prayers won't change a country, doing the right thing does. Learn from developed countries.

Sorry to break your heart. God is not a Christian or a Muslim. He has no religion. He is the God of Abraham the father of Jews, Christians and Muslims . We Christians actually believe we own God, so funny.

Anyone that tells you God is a Christian is deceiving you.

Religion / Re: How To Read Your Bible Without Getting Confused - Paul Ellis by sshyne(m): 9:02am On Jun 17, 2018
Jeymz:
Good morning

‘‘Jesus did not die and rise from the dead to end one age and shadows and symbols only to begin another age of shadows and symbols’’ ANONYMOUS

Contrary to the popular notion, Christ did not come to teach us how to fulfill the law by grace or make it easier for us to keep; He came to 'full-fill' the law and put an end to it. We need to understand that the Law is not an end in itself but a means to an end which ends in Christ; for if it was an end in itself, there would have been no need for the incarnation of Christ.

The Old covenant and its system of operation: the law, the tabernacle, priesthood, sacrifice, offerings are all nothing but shadows pointing to the real image Christ, the true high priest and His eternally perfect sacrifice. What is a shadow? Shadow by definition means a shade cast by the interception of light or an image cast by an object which represents the form of that object, but not the very object itself. Therefore, when the real object, the very image is revealed, the shadow fades away and is no longer valid; it becomes obsolete!

When the Bible talks about the Law being a shadow, it defines it in the same light as ''a form of good things to come'' in that, under the law, sacrifice for sins was continually carried out by the high priest year in, year out. As a result those who were purged of their wrongs, still carried the consciousness of their sins and were never truly free.

‘‘The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship. Otherwise, would they not have stopped being offered? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins.’’ Hebrews 10:1-2

The coming of Christ in the flesh was to put an end to the Old covenant system of operation; to free us from the yoke of bondage, having offered up Himself as a sacrifice for sin via His death on the cross, His resurrection which instituted the New covenant, and the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70AD which brought about the culmination of the Old Covenant.
It is however sad that many believers are still having a form of romance with the Old......

God bless you. Am always happy when I see people I understands the real gospel. If you listen to a lie for too long it it alters your reality but the truth can never be changed. We have being redeemed from the slavery of the law. Going back to the law is a curse and it means you do not acknowledge the death and resurrection of Christ. God bless you once again

Religious belief played a massive part in Nigeria being so poor and many facets of the economy failing so badly and it gets worse. religious belief is responsible for maintaining this freefall as they encourage the poor to concentrate more on afterlife

"don't build treasures on earth, its vanity upon vanities" says a pastor that lives in a mansion out of his many mansions, flies private jet, drives performance cars, eats best quality foods, wears best quality wears, hired the best accountants, attended to by the best quality physicians and doctors but that's not laying treasures on earth, is it?

They'll even say demons are responsible for their poor members not making headway and they should keep fighting their problems with prayers rather than get practical solutions to their problems. political leaders take advantage of this horrible mindset by embezzling funds then turn around and tell the populace to pray for the country, the mumus amongst them would go to church, fall on their knees and pray while the politicians plot how to impoverish them more

You are the only one with functioning brains here. God bless you. We can't all me dumb at the same time

I am not justifying what his wife did. its totally wrong.

But, we are all sinners. And to forgive is Divine.

Our Lords prayer said "Forgive us our sin as we forgive those who sin against us".

To me, when it comes to marriage, i believe there is no sin one cant forgive if you want an everlasting home.

His wife has realized her mistakes, she is begging for forgiveness. Dont you think she deserves a second chance?

When it comes to a wife cheating then the husband is not safe. Most people that takes back a cheating wife usually regret it. And its only guys with low self esteem that can take back a cheating wife. I will rather stay single than take her back

Read your comment and you are so on point bro. For those saying that I should forgive her yes I have forgiven her but to take her back is a no no. Most people don't even know what cheating means, a cheat will always be a cheat. And if I take her back do you think I can take my mind off the fact that she cheated? Some guys thinks it's easy to take a cheat back and that's total crap, you are digging your own grave. I even had a dream that she strangled me. Shortly after she came back from her boss meeting I contracted a PID disease from her which I used about 11k to treat myself. Yeah I can forgive but can't forget, I am a kind of guy that once the trust is lost its gone for good. There are many women in the world and why would I take her back. I am even glad that am free, I am focusing more on my life and my daughter. I only wrote this so that guys should learn from me, Never rush into marriage and make sure you read the signs before engaging. I didn't write all of this to ask guys on whether I should take her back or not. I have realised my mistakes and God help us all. Guys once again don't rush into marriage and read the signs like I said.

Good advice bro.. With all I have being seeing this days, am actually scared of getting married. Is it that court wedding is not advisable? I wouldn't want to be trapped in a marriage if things go soar. Someone as to expect the worse from this women

Am prepping my baby sister for either medicine or nursing in Nigeria. The goal is to pave easy way for her to leave Nigeria and practice somewhere else

Marriage is a little thing before God, it's is men that as turned it to a big deal and neglect the most important things to God.

Marriage is not a criteria to make heaven, if you wanna get married then do so and If you don't want to then remain single. It has nothing to do with your relationship with God.

Its only a fool that will wait for a pastor to show him/her the spouse and I have also heard Cases whereby pastors broke a relationship because he wanted the sister to marry a brother in his church then he uses the phrase "God says".

God gave us brain for a reason TO THINK.. But most of you decided to turn the brain to pap..may God help you

If you are a Nurse in Nigeria it's better you seek opportunities outside the country. Some people will say why not stay back and improve the Nigeria health sector, well I will never tell anyone to stay back because even the government doesn't care. The reason am saying this is 1) I know a male nurse working with Ogomosho teaching hospital ,he was sacked last year with so many others because the the state government cannot keep up with payments.
2) I know of a female nurse in Lagos that as being out of school for years and she still managing in a small private hospital hoping she would get something reasonable someday.

You give to the church too. I hope God's work require money, and full time pastors should be catered for by the church. So you should give to support God's work, and also to help others. You will be blessed for it. But the problem is a lot of pastors twist the whole thing and make it sound mandatory. It is necessary, but not mandatory.

There's nothing like full-time pastors..its all scam.. The apostles had a day job read 2Thessalonian 3:6-13(6And now, dear brothers and sisters, we give you this command in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ: Stay away from all believersc who live idle lives and don’t follow the tradition they receivedd from us. 7For you know that you ought to imitate us. We were not idle when we were with you. 8We never accepted food from anyone without paying for it. We worked hard day and night so we would not be a burden to any of you. 9We certainly had the right to ask you to feed us, but we wanted to give you an example to follow. 10Even while we were with you, we gave you this command: “Those unwilling to work will not get to eat.”
11Yet we hear that some of you are living idle lives, refusing to work and meddling in other people’s business. 12We command such people and urge them in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and work to earn their own living. 13As for the rest of you, dear brothers and sisters, never get tired of doing good.

14Take note of those who refuse to obey what we say in this letter. Stay away from them so they will be ashamed. 15Don’t think of them as enemies, but warn them as you would a brother or sister.)

They gave us an example to follow so why don't they follow it?

Following the law of Moses is what they do in Judaism. As Christians, we are expected to follow the commandments of Jesus Christ: love the Lord your God with all your heart; and love your neighbor as yourself. Every other thing is secondary.

Do you know part of the law of Moses is that you are not to combine different fabrics at once? Those things are difficult, and thanks to Jesus, no longer necessary.

As for pastors who twist things, I don't know what to say about them.

Can you see the problems I have with an average Christian? You contradict yourselves. I threw the question at him to hear what he will say. Jesus Christ is the end of the law as you rightly said..if thats the truth then why do churches still collect tithe and first fruit in Pentecostal churches..and do you know it is a curse to do part of the law and not all and it's also a curse to go back to the old law because Jesus Christ was the end of the law. This is what Daddy freeze, Sunday Adelaja as being saying but the whole world call them Antichrist whereas the Antichrist are on your pupilt.

I wrote topic about tithing check my profile and you will see it there. It's this pastors and GOs that allows other religions to think our Bible was written in error but it was not, the only problem is an average Christian won't read it. Majority of Christians has being blinded by there GOs and this things pains me. Jesus never collected tithe, he even rebuke the Pharisees in Mat 23:23 saying its not even the important aspect of the law of Moses. But it the core message in Christianity because of selfish gains.

I JUST PRAY GOD DELIVERS CHRISTIAN FROM THE HAND OF GOD OF MAMMON

This is what is happening in all churches today especially the Pentecostal churches. How come they pastors left the stoning of non virgins, not shaving of beards and choose to collect tithe and offering. The law of Moses is 613 and in today's Church they just pick the one that suites them and twist some other law. Can you explain why this is so?

Jesus didn't worship in Churches, he only went to the temple meant for Judaism, Christianity didn't start until after the death and resurrection of Christ
