Am not a Muslim scholar, if you wanna know more you can ask imams or Alfas around you. Tithe is nothing like Zakat. TITHE IS ALL ABOUT ROBBING THE POOR, WHILE ZAKAT IS GIVING TO THE POOR.

And tithing is not voluntary. The pastors tell you it's voluntary but they use reverse psychology or emotional blackmail to make sure you pay it. A pastor will say it's not by force to pay tithe but if you wanna make heaven or you wanna be rich then you can pay it. What does that mean?

He never died so that you would be wealthy, he died to save you from eternal damnation. Bros, the truth is that less than 20% of church goers give their tithes faithfully. When it comes to sowing seeds, only a very small percentage of church members do it. Majority do it (sow seeds) as a sacrifice to God, and I agree many also do it cos they have certain needs, and they believe they would get answers thru the sowing. Among Christians that give, only in very few cases people give everything they have. Why is it really a big deal?

If I earn 100k a month and I give 10% as tithe, I settle it in my mind that I earn 90k a month. I plan my life with the 90k. How then have I been defrauded?

The truth is that money is meant to be spent. We spend money on different things. Those who don't give tithes or sow seeds spend their money in other ways. Do you want to know the real truth about giving? When you get saved, all your money belongs to God. The early Church didn't have to give tithe because they gave their all. People sold off everything they had and gave to the church. How many of us can do that now? I know I may not be able to give EVERYTHING so I give the 10% to God and ask Him to mercifully accept the little I have returned to Him out of the abundance He has given me.

Verse 15( but I have used none of these things : neither have I written these things, that it should be so done unto me :for it were better for me to die, than that man should make my glorying VOID)... Paul referred to people of your kind, people of your mindset where in his period and time, that would say, "Apostle Paul is only taking you people's money in the name of God, Stone him, or leave him before your perish", so he took caution... But all the same, the people still kept on giving, because ,it wasn't commanded but was a duty, they felt responsible for the household of God to grow and prevail.
Verse 17: "for if I do this willingly( a heart to preach the gospel to the Saints), I have a reward: but if against my will a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me"... In this verse his talking about how he (Paul) and others are responsible to preach the gospel, if you have a willing heart you have a reward, but if you do not, it's bestowed on a believer.
2nd Corinthians 11:8 " for I robbed other churches, taking wages of them to do you service "... Please can you reason this, how would Paul rob the church his so faithful to preach about. If your read much of Paul, you'll notice Paul's character as a Christian, he was rhetoric. This is just a rhetoric talk, read the next verse, verse 9 "And when I was present with you and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for which was lacking to my brethren (the church), which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself".... In 17 he said if I were doing this by my own initiative then I deserve payment. This is to show you that your pastors were not called by God, it was just their initiative to become rich. Paul was setting examples for us to follow, whose examples are your GOs following. He was preaching the good news for free and thats what we are all meant to do. There's nothing like full-time pastors, it is fraud anybody that as no job is a thief. Why haven't you been collecting money from people you spread the gospel to? But your pastors can collect money. Last time I checked salvation was free but your pastors have commercialized it. Paul had a job to care for himself.

The only time Paul collected money from a church to preach to some people ,he called it robbery and in his statement you would know he felt bad about it.

If you read 12 you would see that he was talking about some people wanting to compare what they do to theirs but the difference is the don't collect money from them and never become a burden to them.

Giving to the house of God is an act of believe and faith and , people has had lots of testimonies in the house of God based on prosperity, wellness etc. Stephen in that verse, was giving a narration of Israel and how the word of God came through the Israelites. Acts 7:48, means the Israelites had thought in making a tabernacle ,and as Solomon did a house for God, they'll be more closer to God. But God had told them his greater than that ,than their temples or tabernacles, but the more higher way of God, is Him coming to live in you,coming to make his abode in you, he didn't want the Israelites to worship him outwardly, he wanted to be in them, their spirit. Now God prefers living in the spirit of man, and if he does live in the spirit of man, they all come together and worship in where?, the body of Christ, because Christ is God and He lives in you, by the Holy Spirit... So you see the church is where God lives, because every member that you see in a church have God inside him or her.
