Point of correction Prof,
It's not Biafra has not been defeated

But

Biafra can not be defeated.

This ideology is ingrained in the mind and souls of toddlers and babies unborn,
The cry for liberation echoes from the anthills of Nsugbe to the mountains of Ngwo,
The cry of injustice is heard from the lakes of Oguta to the beaches of Buguma.

Never again,
Never again shall we see the Hausa-Fulani and call him brother.
We are not genetically identical
We are not psychologically identical
We are not spiritually identical
Those are no brothers of ours,
At best, they are neighbors but not our brothers

Our brothers don't mate with animals
Our brothers don't marry underage girls
A neighbor is not a brother.

Our lands are ravaged,
Our resources are exploited,
Our tomorrow is raped,
Our hands are tied,
Our mouths are gagged
They've made us believe all we can do is mumur
We can't shout or fight because we are powerless.
But our resolve is unflinching.

One day,
The sun will rise again,
Power will return to the people

Viva Biafra.
Please stop this.
Stop.

Why spread and promote division? ??

You'll have children of you don't already.
If this country goes into war, what is your date?

Some people think Biafra started with APC administration, I laugh.

The wounds of Biafra are still existent in many Families up till today.
Personally, I wasn't born then, but I was told Nigerian Government dropped a bomb in our Village market, killing many civilians, my Dad's 2 sisters and their small children lost their lives.
The were in the Market, this happened when the war was still starting, it wasn't full scale yet.

My family was personally affected, Nigeria has never apologized for this, even the program to reconstruct, rehabilitate the places that were destroyed by the war, never saw the daylight.
I know some disabled people still alive today, who got their disability as a result of the Biafra war.

Biafrans were given just £20 to start life, all their previous money was useless, the were sacked from all Government work, the were declared resigned...

Their properties declared Abandoned by Nigerian Government.
And some deranged Lunatics will say Igbos are too hateful, why won't we undecided angry. Some things can't be forgiven, if the are forgiven, the can't be forgotten

I'm not an IPOB member or a full supporter of Nnamdi Kanu, but Biafra is far from Over.

Before you open your dirty mouth to shout 1 Nigeria, pray for your family members to be blown away by bomb

Buhari given his nepotism, undiplomatic, bigoted and fanatic nature just increased the fire, but the fire was always burning...
I still insist that Buhari is a curse from the gods, no doubt.
No country deserves Buhari as a president, it's pure wickedness, many people are suffering so much.
Everything you've said, you only heard.
Besides, you want to fight another war to avenge the previous war?

EVANS OH EVANS!!! - Biyatife

Our nights have grown so blue-black dark
Devoid of the tranquil inflicting priest-white moon
And the sweet soulful scents of sane silence
Now we hear the acrid aching anguish
Of unbaritone yet hurting, ugly human-like voices
Springing From the fence-Everest four yards away
Like the curious cat, we felinely climbed for Everest
But the barbwire-crowned summit’s ever impregnable
So we fall like tortoise with no ants to lay our bricks
Fence- Everest has become our street deity
Dreadfully enigmatic!

And even our days have grown so shiningly blur
Making the sun into a round aged fool
Incapable of revealing the heinous hardwork of human vultures
Who magnet off both old and young from the streets
And suck their loved ones of their hard-earned wealth
In devilry exchange of cash and corpse
Like the ancient tale of the serpent and woman
Leaving her victims cursed with claustrophobia and paranoia
And the never-fading scar of preyhood
The world wonders why we wail so much
Yet all we can say is Evans oh Evans!

Evans oh Evans!
The benevolently malevolent African Jack-Robinson
Who makes the world into a humorous hourglass
Dripping from the rich and feeding the rich-stung poor
Your seeds shall ever sing your praise chants
For you were to them the Jesus they could see
But hey!
Your vultured victims also shall see no sound sleep
Till you fall into the minefield of snares and the table turns
Like the times of Anini, and Oyenusi, and their cohorts
Who like you do, ruled their globes with vile and terror

Hello, Evans oh Evans
Your protégés have grown so cold in the heart
For they disregard your legacy and filch our kids
Our lovely little litluns, who fear even the dark
Yet they are thrown into the den of your Fence-Everest!
Help us, Evans!
For a child not grows deaf to his Yeye Abiamo’s call
And you are the hen, and they the chicks
But there you are, drinking and dancing with your preys
In Agbada, Danshiki, and Suits, and the National Maze for walking sticks
Did the cat and the rat suddenly become friends?
Or the Hawk and the chick now put arms on each other’s shoulders?
Indeed the maize’s predator lives just beneath its buttocks

The cock yawns with strength, and crows the sun out of its den
With great alacrity, the sun heeds the beckon call of the cock
And maybe this day the sun shall regain its youth
Paoo! Paoo! - Shrrrrr....
The gun’s nosy, noisy flames cough us up to wake
And reach for our window pane in rat-like fashion
And there we see the almighty fence-Everest on its knees
In humbled submission to fate and karma all in one
And our street’s Osama in cuffs and his eyes blooded
The den, now becomes cage for unroyal spiders and rodent
And the street now knows some peace
For no longer shall we wail
Evans oh Evans!

RomanceRe: My Maid Drives Me Nuts by ssuccess(m): 11:05am On Jun 17, 2017
Adviceneeded:
Hello everyone
I am a long time nairalander but I had to create a new account because of the nature of what I'm going through,I am a single, working man.due to my busy lifestyle my sister got me a maid that comes to clean the house and stock the freezer with food when I'm not home, now I'm mostly home on weekends and that's the only time I get to see the maid.mind you she doesn't stay in the house she only does her work twice in a week including Saturdays, last weekend she came around I observed how sexy her ass is and the way she walks,I'm thinking of getting sexual with her but I don't know how to initiate the move.please I'm Hot at work just thinking of seeing her tomorrow, guys I need your help.
Since you said you're single, no problem.

All women fall for care, I'd have said you should give her attention, but that might devalue you before her as you are her boss.
So I'll say show care to her, also after a little while initiate body contact, like a hand shake that lasts four seconds longer, a long stare into her eyes, later you move to holding her by the arms. Before you know it, start giving harmless hugs. Ensure that most times it's the both of you who are in the house together. Look at her in ways that she knows what you want.

After giving all these signals, the ball Is in her court, if she gives you positive response, please go ahead. If she doesn't, PLEASE DO NOT FORCE HER. You could ONLY try harder.

My opinion though.

The op is not totally correct, I just concluded my MSc in faculty of tech in OAU spending just 4 semesters. OAU pg program is research oriented, those that don't finish on time did not start their research on time. The time you spend for your program depends on how hardworking you are and your interaction as well as your relationship with your supervisor (very important). I started my research in my second semester combining it with my course work though very demanding, by third semester my field work was completed and my write up almost ready. I will advice aspiring pg student in OAU to start their research as soon as possible, that's what delay most people. My submission.
Thanks Bro. But you said, 4 semesters, is that 2 years? Or how many years exactly?

Also, how much does it cost?

Also, how does one apply?

Sorry my questions are too much o

PoliticsRe: Osinbajo Meets With Igbo Leaders (Photos) by ssuccess(m): 6:17pm On Jun 15, 2017
vicdom:
For those thinking of 2nd civil war and prospects of seizing Igbo properties;*

Biafra will come just like every other peaceful breakaway. Aside those peaceful protesters being killed presently, there'll be no gun shot fired over Biafras second and successful coming.

The fact is that majority Nigerians misconceive what secession entails and are thus paranoid about it, is their cup of tea.

The Igbos trooping up north on daily basis to live or trade doesn't stop Igbos from having their own country, United Kingdom created 4 separate home nations and yet, england is main home to Scottish, Welsh and Irish businesses.

The Igbos owning may be 70 % of homes, estates, plazas and hotels in lagos and abuja doesn't stop Igbos from owning their own country.

After all, Jews own America and come to Israel on visa and yet they're proudly Israelis.

The Igbos will still sell in Kano, lagos, abuja etc markets as foreigners with their Biafran embassy issuing them passports, better dignity & international standard protections just like Lebanese, Chinese etc that operate here.

The process of secession in international laws has advanced, and is no longer fight and acrimony like in 1967, so, my dear Fulani soldiers, stop spoiling for brutality and those waiting for abandoned property to seize, sorry to disappoint, but that ain't happening.
Igbos don't even need political leaders to guide them to Biafra. It is a movement and as such it is the masses that decide.

Check the process of the failed Scotland bid and the recent successful break up of nations across the world. They're masses driven.

Gordon Brown the former British PM, and all prominent Scottish politicians, celebrities and sportsmen all campaigned for Scotland not to secede, yet, they couldn't stop the plebiscite and Scotland nearly seceded, Britain conceded so much powers and autonomy to them, that Scotland has eaten it's cake and still has it. It is a country within a country.

Therefore Igbo prominent men and politicians will be no different and are not expected to fight for Biafra.
Modern secession is a vote thing, and the masses carry the vote in democracy, not wealthy individuals, so, those Aba protesting masses are the ones to decide, not coscharis & Rockview owners.

Biafra will eventually come, and it will bring with it, that illusive value and premium placed on the heads of poor Igbo traders in the north and other corners of nigeria.
This is because, they'll operate as expatriates with visas and a functional embassy of Biafra protecting them and taking up their grievances and forcing nigeria via international medium and laws to compensate adequately for their burnt goods or other infractions.

The Igbo federal civil servants, company and bank workers will transfer to the Biafran branches of same agencies, banks and firms and some logistics on pensions and savings will be worked out.

These things are orderly and the UN have perfected the art of dividing nations.

The Ijaw man fearing Igbo man taking his oil, should know that Igbos have oil & gas in four of their five states, plus coal etc. The Igbo will pay internationally determined prices to use wharfs that are close to them and buy oil & gas from their neighbors, so, fear not too much. Equally, under international maritime and aviation treaties, Biafrans must be allowed to use wharfs around them and pay the prices, unless the nation in question wants sanctions and pariah.
As most western nations have shown, it is not resources that make a country rich. As nigeria has also shown, abundance of resources don't make rich countries.

It is brain, grit, meritocracy, ingenuity and patriotism that advances a nation. The Niger deltans can yet join the movement rather than sit and doubt Noah while he builds the ark.
Anyways, the present arrangement the Niger delta has in nigeria is the worse arrangement for a resource rich area in any part of the world, and I authoritatively tell you this
Bros, have you heard of Xenophobia?
So you think Ghanaians can come to the Political and Industrial Capital of Nigeria and own 70%, yet we won't say nothing? You must be kidding, or you must be a kid!
You think if Biafra secedes, Niger Delta would follow you? The same Niger Delta that Ojukwu rejected?

Why not let us find a way to heal the land, rather than destroy it!

2.2 can do Masters if your cgpa is atleast 3.00. Some schools accept 2.75. If lower than that, you'd have to do a PGD first.

I've read all here and I can say that these things are unique with most Nigerian varsities, whether federal or state owned.

Uniuyo has a fairly strong research output and I would encourage it for a PG programme. The fees are moderate (less than 100k) and the duration really depends on the student. If a student wants to graduate in 18 months, s/he actually can. The major problem in this school is the lack of edifices and infrastructure.

Unical has bureaucratic problems that end up delaying students unnecessarily. However, the research output is fairly standard.

DELSU, Abraka, has good standards and the research output is strong. However, the students have to undergo proposal, seminar, departmental, faculty and external defences. These take time and have many bureaucracies surrounding them.

AAU, Ekpoma, is no different from DELSU. However, they lack infrastructure and edifices.
Thank you o

IslamRe: Etiquette Of A Righteous Husband by ssuccess(m): 4:00am On Aug 27, 2016
kennyosein:
Khutbah from Shaykh ‘Abdul Muhsin Al-Qasim,
Imaam of Masjid An-Nabawee

Whoever comes from a kind and compassionate
background will have a tender heart and so such
men must bear in mind that their wife is the one
who gave birth to his children, takes care of his
wealth and maintains his secrets. So be kind to
your wives and openly express your joy, for
smiling livens the heart and wipes away hatred,
and praising the wife for her appearance,
cooking and adornment wins her heart.

Moreover, Islam has allowed husbands to lie to their wives in order to increase the love between them.

Exchanging gifts is the key to winning a heart
and is a reflection of one’s love.

Being easy upon one’s wife, abandoning ambiguity and bad communication and arrogance are ways to achieve a lasting happy marital life.

‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said:
“A man should be like a child with his wife, happy and easy going, but when he sits with men, he should act as they do.”

Be an upright and straightforward man and your
wife will thereby also improve and become more
righteous, by the will of Allah.

Do not look at that which is unlawful for you to
do so, because the evil consequences of this sin
will impact upon your house. Watching women on satellite television causes one’s wife to appear ugly and unpleasant, and lowers one’s rank in her sight, which is a reason why hearts become distant and love diminishes, which in turn causes conflicts to emerge.

Deal with your wife as you would like her to deal with you in all areas, because it is natural that she would like you to be with her as you would like her to be with you.

Ibn ‘Abbaas, may Allah be pleased with him, said:
“I like to take care of my appearance for my wife just as I would like her to beautify herself for me.”

Listen to your wife’s criticism with an open mind and heart because the wives of the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would too discuss his opinions without him becoming angry.

Also a husband should not take from his wife’s wealth without her permission, because it belongs to her.

Treat her kindly and be generous with her and do not be stingy; remember that your wife likes to talk to you regarding all her affairs, so be attentive and listen to her; indeed this is a reflection of perfect manners.

Never go home with a gloomy face because your children need to clearly see your love and sympathy; be kind to your children and make them enjoy your presence, guidance and instructions and always listen to them. Whenever the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would see Faatimah, may Allah be pleased with her, he would say: “ Welcome, O my daughter!” Then he would seat her to his right or left. (Muslim)

Being kind to the members of one’s household reflects real manhood, as Al-Baraa’, may Allah be pleased with him, said: “I entered upon Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, in his house; he saw his daughter ‘Aa’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, lying down with a fever, so Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, kissed her on the cheek and asked: ‘How are you feeling my daughter?’” (Bukhari)

Helping at home is a sign of ones faithfulness; ‘Aa’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, was
asked what the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would do while at home, she replied, ‘ He was just like any other human being, he would sew his garment, milk the sheep and serve himself.’ (Ahmad)

Being generous with ones family is the best charity that one can give and time spent with ones friends should not be at the expense of that with ones family, for they are worthier to spend ones time with.

Never remind your wife with mistakes that she may have made, nor hint about her shortcomings.

Conceal your problems from the children because it has a negative affect on them and reduces the respect they have towards their parents.

Anger is the cause of all disputes, and the relation between a man and his wife is far too valuable to ruin in a moment of anger; remain silent whenever you become upset and remember that forgiveness is closer to piety and wisdom.

‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said: “Women should be kept at home and their anger dealt with by remaining quiet.”

The rights of the wife are great and only a noble man will fully honour his wife and respect her. ‘Aa’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, said: “The Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would always mention Khadeejah, and he would always slaughter sheep, divide them, and then distribute it among her friends, He did this so much that I once said to him: ‘You act as though there are no other women apart from Khadeejah’” (al-Bukhari)

This is absolute bullshit, so in the little archaic mind of yours and your fellow believers, women are objects? Commodities? Pets?

Any girl who's not comfortable with this advice needs to evaluate her home training.
Nicely said Sir.
However, relegating women to the 'cooks' in the home, and elevating Men to the 'Providers' is totally wrong. I have no problem with him of he says they should pray for one year. But he attempting to be misogynist is what I'll never appreciate.
Questions he should have asked himself before opening his mouth to say nonsense :
Do women get employed in our society?
Is there a gene in the woman's body that gives her cooking hormones?
Are there men who know how to cook?
Do men ever lose their jobs or not?
What evidences show that women cannot thrive in areas men thrive?

Hi. Piptoe
My girlfriend and I had this major issue last week and I feel It might help you. We're university students, but we're on break. Now her ex-boyfriend lives in close proximity with her, I leave In another state entirely, so he's been toying with her mind. She then told me she's begun to feel some things for him again and don't know who to choose to guard against immodesty. I expressed my disappointment and surprise but I stupidly felt I should stay with love. Until she chose him over me. I then told her I had no problem with it but I can't communicate with her at least for a while. she insisted on me talking with her often, I blocked her from all my social media accounts, then she was always calling.
she then texted me to tell me she has reversed her decisions and ended things with the Ex-boyfriend.
I formed small, but later we're back together. Of course I no longer going to be the faithful guy I once was because she has toyed with my trust.
But the point is please use the 'No contact rule' religiously. Try being with friends or going on dates with guys, carefully.
If he still feels something for you, he'll be back okay?
I hope I did a little good. good luck dear.
