This is not supposed to be a court case. A wife ain't a toy. That's why I'll forever be against dowry and change of names. |
It depends on the reaction to their deeds. If he is truly repentant which I would know due to the fact that he's my best friend which means we've been to together for more than 800 days. True repentance earns him my forgiveness. We could still be friends but definitely with a lower level of trust. However, for my girlfriend, forgiveness is possible but continuity is gonna be a bit difficult because usually my girlfriend is my best friend, or my second best friend, but the difference is that we share a lot of emotions that work hand in hand with Jealousy. It's gonna be so difficult to continue the relationship, we could still be friends. However, just like my best friend, it all depends on her reaction. REMEMBER: To err is human... Man no be god. |
oglalasioux:Next time learn to give reference to whom it's due. That was Brig.Gen Alabi-Isama speaking |
AccidentalGenius:have you ever been in love? |
Cutehector:oh... thanks a lot man. I'll make sure to keep being the guy she fell in love with, but it's not being too easy, the way I'm wired, I just do not like being second choice that's why I strive to be successful. Now I'll understand her and give her time. Thanks bro. Perhaps I'll visit this section more often, I'm a politician but love my bae. |
thanks bro, patiently awaiting your post |
I and my had a lady who we had intimate relationship together before I met 'Te mi', (meaning 'my own', that's what I call her). However, this lady started to piss me off when she started to bleach, I was warning her and protested against the surreal thing but she was adamant. Later on, she probably felt I was jealous and started to even attempt to make me more jealous by receiving and making weird phone calls, living like one who has arrived. Simultaneously, I began to withdraw from her, then I met Te Mi. TeMi was a fresher and I in my third year, however, grew to care for her so much that I would do anything to make her happy, when I asked her out, she claimed to have a boyfriend who was in another University. I then zeroed my mind on getting a relationship from TeMi, but that didn't deter me from caring for her, I just couldn't help that. As time went on we began to grow deep and intimate feelings for each other but we mutually agreed not to have sex as I know how terrible my post-sex relationship can be. Our intimacy grew till we became the dating models for the entire department. THIS IS MY PROBLEM: We're on break, and the guy who is supposed to be an Ex is back appealing to her to return, being too kind a lady she's in a fix and doesn't want to hurt him and myself also. she's religious and wouldn't want to lie. She loves me but shares a blissful history with him. He's a Muslim like her, but I do not have a religion. She says she feels I'm more mature and can bear her loss more, but if she hurts him he can do anything to himself. Guys honestly I know I sounded stupid, but can you please advise me on what to do. I appreciate you. |
NePro:even if ice is unleashed on you, you wouldn't wake from this slumber! He's working, you're not seeing it yet. Idiots like this are the ones who brought the retard into office in the first place. |
SWITANN:Please don't mention. Have you guys resumed school activities ? |
My advise is this: build your psychological CV for the post of President starting from your immediate course-mates, make them need you, then your Department's Student Association, if you could take your house, you can rule the clan. Please even dating mannerisms matter, how you handle your relationship, how often you breakup. Avoid unnecessary fracas with the security people. Bae, I wish you make it huh. |
Subtlelad:Hi Bro, sorry if I seem a bit intrusive. the lady in question pissed me off when she used the 'ignorant ' tag on you. However, you made a prophecy that sounds archaic, why would a female never be the President of this country? utterances like this is what pushes us to 5th world, not just Third World. Haba! Only if you could give logical reasons for this assertions, and not throw in the,'holy books'. As for Switann, if you intend to be SUG President, please pedal on. show the world what you've got that they need, and they'll come chasing after you. |
HAPPY NEW MONTH KWASU STUDENTS About 28 days ago, the family was familying in our own little red-bricked cosmos. However, as age and growth suffers no gravity so have we also defied the deified gravity by living till this month of July. However if one makes the best use of this July, December would smile and be our serfs. How? We all are venturing into the adventure of a novel level, a new clime, however to avoid friction you engage in what Emielu calls 'softening ground'. After a restfthustle-filled June, July should usher in a form of anagnorisis. Recognition. Recognition of the uncontended fact that Sometime in August, the gate of pressure would be unsheathed before us. Then, only the July a stored water would feed each of our camels. What's novel to me might not be to you, so is the age we find ourselves. Therefore, our way of softening ground would be by consulting the previous occupants of our new clime, that way acculturation is ensured, and smiling December, insured. Also, we all know that beginning from August, preparations for our Induction commences. This year's induction promises to set a new pace, and the committee to steer the ship would be announced in few days time. Also, the amount to be paid for the upholdment of the Association's financial sanity would be announced in few days time. KWASIUTES, welcome to the Anagnoristic Month of July.[b]HAPPY NEW MONTH KWASU STUDENTS About 28 days ago, the family was familying in our own little red-bricked cosmos. poleon4:Foolishness is little compared to what's wrong with your thinking system. |
sainty2k3:No Sir, this is Comrade Shally of Student Representative Assembly, Kwasu. |
In all forms of sincerity, there's a lot of problems with our Student Unionism in Tertiary Institutions. Truth be told, the school's ultimate aim of doing this is to try and deter other aspiring comrades from venturing into the art of activism. I wish these leaders had posted to Nairaland during the planning process of the protest, I swear to you I'd have tried my best to put them through as legally as I can. Nigeria has evolved and activism must not remain othordoxical. Well, the deed has been done, it's fruit reaped, but we must not open our eyes and let evil things enter. Greatest Nigerian Students!!!! Would you sit by your mobiles and watch your fellow students victimised over a common cause? Please employ the services of a lawyer (I know you must have done that), organise dialogues with the Vice-Chancellor. Explain your case to people who wield respect within the State. Book a meeting with your council members. Do not sleep until Success's your middle name. Aluta is all about solidarity, the students of OAU would be damned if they just keep quiet and let this slide. Whoever the next ranking officer of the Student Union is, let her not rest until these folks are vindicated. If after all legal means have been tried and the School just wouldn't yield, I'm so sorry OAU but 'where there's no law, there's no sin'. Terrorism becomes sane. |
luvinhubby:See this fool o |
oluseyiforjesus:1. Our leaders think of themselves alone. 2. The area might be too swampy (riverine) to accommodate such a structure. |
Lionpikin:it seems you're talking outta hunger, go bathe and chop, them come and retype on NL. |
I'm so uncomfortable with the idea of APC being the one to criticise this move. The question is; are they really the first (like, did they get to notice this before PDP?) notice the error? Or it this a move to try and curtail Buhari's errors, to try try and restrict the damages to him a lone. hereby shielding the Party? Did APC not know of the yeye man's mentality before they gave him their ticket? Hmm... even after four years this guy might still be president 'cause his stooge is the INEC chairperson. Even after Eight years, this man might still be in power 'cause unlike OBJ, this one has his kinsmen all around him. Nigeria was warned before hand but that love for being obstinate might just lead to our peril. Que Cera Cera.... What Will Be Will Be. |

JUST OR ADJUST?
Many are so familiar with the tale of the cat, the
rat and the bell. In this tale which many of us
learnt in our days of nonage, possibly even out
of compulsion, we would all agree that the Cat
was synonymous to a tyrannical figure . The Cat
commands fear, and tremble, which then results
in followership from the oppressed. Nigeria's renowned activist, who in 1986 won the prestigious Nobel Prize, once said : "the man Died in all who keep silent in the face of tyranny. In any people who submit willingly to the daily intimidation of fear, the man dies. " Welcome to KWASU, and for the staylites, welcome back. During the rulership of the cat, any form of protest spelt the death penalty. KWASU unarguably isn't close to being a perfectly ruled land. is it? Even to give answer to this question sends shiver and trembling to the heart. When things aren't going fine, laws are unbearable. Sanity automatically demands a protest. Now this is it. Why has there been no protests in resent times? Is it because the perfect gentleman is on the throne? Is it because the 'goddy'(you talk and die) man who is on the throne? Years ago, I received a text that directed me to report at KWASU for an interview. I followed the directive, I secured an admission into the University. The amazing moment was when I was asked to report back in three days time with my evidence of school fees payment. Though I knew that my parents would find a way, this was so dumbfounding. For an average Nigerian to come up with #200,000 within three days? A large score of KWASU students would admit that it was so difficult to gather that same amount of money within three months. Wow! I immediately asked one of the staylites around for the SUG building, the young man looked at me with so much awe that I almost felt I had thrown stone into his glass house. After putting himself back together, he told me he knows nothing about that and left hurriedly. Bewildered by his weird response, i decided not to inquire from a stranger about it again. I walked up to this man in a security - like uniform, and asked the same question. He then said to me; "KWASU too small make him get that kind thing". I pressed further, then I realised that he meant that until KWASU becomes at least five (5) years old , a Student Union can never come into existence. This got me so sad. On Friday which marked the deadline for the making of fee payment, my parents were finally able to squeeze it out after pulling several difficult strings. I made my payment, afterwards i was accused of 'late - payment '. I swore to them and even showed them all available evidences. Still I was made to pay #5000. While rushing out of the school to ensure that I meet the new 4 'o' clock deadline, the bike I boarded got hit from behind by a KWASU official vehicle, I sustained an injury who's pain I still feel till date. Upon suffering this accident, I expected the KWASU official in question to at least say sorry or anything close to it. To my greatest amazement, this woman got down from her car, walked up to us and started barking at us. I was so annoyed but my anger was subdued by the greater pain inflicted by the accident. After a series of rants, this woman who obviously lacks empathy got into her vehicle and dashed off. Some students around came helped us to our feet, and got us to the clinic, the driver and I. I asked to see the president of any powerful student gathering. The students gave the usual reply of 'prohibited in KWASU '. I told them I would press out a case against this woman who had the guts to do what she did, they then narrated tales of protests in KWASU. Had it been that It was just me who suffered this form of treatment in the hands of this KWASU administration, I would have remained quiescent. But then I discovered that it wasn't just me but everyone else. We are all cowed into cowardice. KWASU became 5 years old then I got the shocker of my life. 'The V.C says student unionism cannot be tolerated In his administration'. Wow! Last year the graduands were made to pay about #40000 naira to the school for failure to live in the school hostels. Guess what? No solid protests was made. Or at least none of their cry was heard. Last year about the time of election, the enormous sign post at the school round about was changed. It was changed from one bearing strictly the school's name, logo, and its address. It was changed to one which hosts a gubernatorial candidate of the APC. Guess what? No question was asked. People simply ignored. Same last year, the prices of transportation were fluctuating at will and they were almost never reducing. Guess what? We all grumbled, and murmured. No single question was asked. KWASU students are made to write all exams within a week, and despite persistent pleas being made to the boss on sit, nothing ever got changed. Now, we understand that the Vice Chancellor and his cohorts are scared and trembling at the prospect of putting up an institution that could consider violence as a last resort when trying to get things done. But we the students need this union, and we're no more pleading for it, we're asking for it. To you who think you can push this aside as 'one of those rants', do not worry, it's only a matter of time, as written in one of those poems, The Bitter Pill, (Poet's name is deliberately withdrawn, but with permission) "Then time expired The mass grew tired Rebellion is required Rebellion is acquired Lord is retired." Note: no one is advocating for an institution of violence, all that is being asked for is an institution that airs our voice. Just as the NLC is to the Nigerian masses. Now we're done begging for it. We're strongly asking for it, 'cause it's our constitutional right. We hope you make the right decision. Cheers! Author: C.S |

Wole Soyinka ' s Death and The King's Horseman easily comes to mind here. |
Onegai:Hi. I also am this advocate of Feminism, but when we look at the manner in which the male beings are wired, also considering the inevitable existence of the incubent African mentality in them. Sincerely, for a home to last longer I'd advise we keep away from things like this, not just to avoid female maids but even the male ones also. okay , we say men are visually triggered does that mean the women can't be triggered also? My point is ; nothing stops a developing family from handling their chores themselves. 'Cause believe me, you should on no condition underestimate the evil prospect a third party brings NO MATTER WHAT SEX it is. |
SAMBARRY:Sorry o, when you get married employ an Uche Jombo, or Mercy Johnson ad maid. Report back to NL in 9 months time . Yeye people, they'll be telling you the truth, you'll be forming blind and dumb. |
cococandy:Actually, I have no doubts in me about how unfair and heinous child labour is, but ma'am, hmm the op has a very important, and unignorable point. sincerely. If you weren't able to understand his idea via hos earlier arguments, I really don't know what I would do to help convince you. But, in all Sincerity, please follow a larger part of his advice. |
Horlawoomey:So after 18 months, the president would find that 'hard to come back' technocrat magically? Look, I understand that you love Bubu, I love my country, he presides over her, so so we both have something in common. The only help you're gonna the President is by being objective when discussing or arguing him. Give a more analytical explanation for this decision if if you if you have any, if not please STFU!!!!! |
xtrorse:Now this attemptsto tempt it's reader to try to imagine what tribe benefits most ,and which benefits least. The last time anyone thought in this line, we had a civil war. Except Nigeria is restructured, power decentralised, and ALL criminals and looters of the treasury brought to book every other attempt at forging ahead is more or less cosmetic.[/quote]So true |
sukkot:You know the problem with this your folly? it's that it not only sells you out ab being merely st*pid, it also puts to vain the efforts of all true indigenous humanitarians who fought and are still fighting for our unity. Comments like this DIVIDES. The Igbos start to feel what they felt 'back in the days' The nation then gets into a new Civil war, hopefully, you and your family gets killed in the War. Unfortunately, others could end up with you. so please, for whatever you believe in's sakes, LET US BE ONE! !! |
