Horlawoomey: Not bad at all, desperate situation calls for desperate action.
Ride on Mr President. Wailers should continue wailing. really? ?? so this is all you have to say?! Haba! Why not STFU! 'desperate situation calls for desperate action'. When next he does something 'desperate', you'll come here and give the same excuse. What warranted this type of move? Is it that credible sensible, and reliable Nigerians have gone into extinction? If that's true where then did he see his new NNPC chairman? Or is it that Obasanjo is the 'perfect gentleman'? Before he got elected, some feared that this man is liable to power drunkenness, to be kind of autocratic. Three months into office, I'm beginning to feel stupid if I disagree with them. |

PassingShot: Just as predicted!
On Tinubu Why couldn't Jona bring Tinubu to justice if he was as corrupt as you want us to believe? This is a man who has been out of governance since 2008 and we have had another eight years of PDP rule since then. Besides, Tinubu was tried by ICPC and was discharged and acquitted of all charges. And if anyone has additional evidence, let them write EFCC.
On Amaechi Let EFCC work on the petition submitted if truly any was indeed submitted. Or do you expect investigation of all allegations in that petition to have been concluded already? In addition, Wike said he was going to probe Amaechi, why not wait for the outcome of that exercise too?
On PMB anti corruption before and after the election The president may have said what he said then, that he was not going to probe past regimes. However many things may have informed his new position. E.g.
1. He may have discovered high level looting and corruption beyond his imagination upon assuming the mantle of leadership. This is very plausible given that no one can claim to know 20% of what goes on in running of government from outside.
2. He may have deliberately said what he said then in order to forestall any plan by GEJ military guys from thwarting the election process. A pledge by Awolowo to probe the military regime if he won the general election in 1979 was largely responsible for his "loss" to Shehu Shagari. So, it would have been suicidal for PMB not to reassure the then regime.
Finally, do not worry too much too soon about bringing corrupt people to justice . it will eventually happen. this is folly in black and white. I mean, how could someone possibly think like this? 'no one can possibly know what goes on in in a government from outside'? seriously? why them was ICPC established, or even EFCC Please don't hesitate to voice out the TRUTH just because of how many bowls of rice and t - shirt |

They both need to.be equally chastised...but due to the tradition on ground(which I wish would change.), the female gets more chastising. This tradition needs to be driven into extinction. I firmly believe that very soon with the aid of scholar's like Adichie's commitment to.Feminism, very soon this tradition would become...'once upon a time' |

handie: Brb. Make I plug ma phone. Ehen! In as far as I agree with Mr. Keyamo's view on d number of ministers, having ministers with the axe hanging over them won't be good for the polity. Why won't a minister loot funds when he knows for sure he won't last 4 years? And it will disrupt policies and leave d naton in a lurch. Best thing is d merging of ministries and appointing a junior and senior minister in each. With this, there'll be more efficiency and a cut in cost of governance I'm so sorry... If I really interprete you well. If you think they tend to loot 'cause of job insecurity...please remember that even the president is impeachable |

Politics › Re: APC Woman Leader In Lagos West Allegedly Caught With Election Materials by ssuccess(m): 10:08am On Mar 28, 2015 |
UTILITYMAY: Before being MILITARY Head of State, he had been Governor of one of the Northern States (under Obasanjo’s Military government) as well as Minister for Petroleum. He later served as Chairman of PTF under Abacha.
He is a no-nonsense man, hence you can never see anyone accuse him of corruption..
In his time as Head of State, he did not implement Sharia law; he reduced inflation from 23% to 4%, by fiscal discipline and a homegrown economic team (not achieved under any other era, even military).
He is the only former head of state that does not own property or land in Abuja .
Despite serving in senior capacity in the oil sector, first as Minister for Petroleum and then Petroleum Trust Fund, Buhari has no petrol station, much less a rig, refinery or an oil block like so many of our leaders. He could have retired into nauseating opulence like most of his counterparts (IBB or Danjuma or even OBJ) but didn't.
He refused to collect an allowance while serving as Chairman of the PTF because he said since he was already drawing a pension from government, his conscience would not allow him to draw another salary from the purse of the same government.
His personal driver of many years is a Christian from Plateau State!
JJ Rawlings of Ghana took over 2yrs before him, and killed all the corrupt leaders, while Buhari only sentenced the corrupt leaders here to prison.
I hope this makes sense to you or is it story for the gods?
#VoteWisely Story for the gods Big time... Haba!!! How much did we lost when he was at petroleum? Because he doesn't have a house in Abuja means he isn't corrupt? Finally, so it is this time that you're recognizing all these facts, and reminiscing all these records... This is big B.S!!! |

Why get her number form your mutual friend when you see her everyday at the cafeteria You've not started dating and you are already involving a third party when you can boldly approach her for her contact. Good luck sha.
emusmith advice na. Sorry about the 'love affair'...I meant to say 'love relationship' The reason why I collected her collected her number from the mutual friend was because I didn't see her around, and I was kinda tired of hiding how I feel...I know that sounds like cowardice but...I don't know, I just did. About the third party, don't worry he's kinda expendable. I just hope this works out! |

Please, I need an advice. There's this lady, she's in 100level, I'm in 200. We met at the cafeteria in school one afternoon, when she saw my friend and I eating she started to stare at us till we got uncomfortable and we joked, then it was over...later I started going that very cafeteria because of her. That was how I fell for her, I discovered that we had a mutual friend so I walked up to him and begged for her phone number (I know that was awkward). I want to start off a love affair with her, believe me I've had sleepless nights...I just do not want to get ot wrong this time... I'ld love it of you all help. Thank you! |
