Quite an unfortunate saga it was back then. In my belief, powers beyond the shores of Nigeria saw to it that Ministry of Health and medical field as far as their tentacles could reach frustrated this man and his efforts/research.
People kept asking 'why not give him the benefit of doubt and test it first' but for very flimsy reasons, the powers that be won't have any of that.

16years later? Ridiculous!

I remember when Dimeji Bankole's rivals were alleging that he did not do the mandatory 1year service and did not have NYSC certificate. The man simply went to the media and had his original certificates printed in colours in about three of nigerian dailies.
By the time they also saw his old pictures with his fellow NYSC colleagues at camp, all of them went instantly quiet. None of them could talk again. Same day, that matter laid to rest once and for all.

I suggest Buhari does same.

It saddens to know that people throw patriotism out of the window and speak ill of various institutions of my fatherland, all in the name of politics. Why won't sanctimonious foreign media help denigrate our country further?
