Austeenx:Lol. Yet none is as heavy as Yetunde ![]() NB: only those who have read the stories in my signature know her. |
Okikiola Aremu Mathew Olusegun Obasanjo remains Nigeria's best president ever. The only military man to return power to a democratically elected president and have power returned to him as a democratically elected president. For many years I wished I could just see you for one day. I have just one question to ask though. Just once before Almighty calls you home. But I guess this wish of mine may never come to pass. Still, God bless you Sir. |
Jonathan hasn't performed to expectations given the power he wields. But the way people throw cheap jabs at him makes me wonder. For example: How can someone be asking for Jonathan's PhD THESIS while he hasn't beckoned on his preferred candidate to produce ordinary WAEC certificate. You're not even asking for Jonathan's first degree certificate, not masters but PhD thesis yet you haven't asked your choice candidate for his O'levels. Ridiculous! David-West says Jonathan owes Nigerians explanation on whereabouts of his doctoral thesis but forgets Buhari owes the electorates, heck even his own supporters explanations on whereabouts of his basic WAEC certificate. Prof. Tam David-West do us a favor, ask Buhari to scribble a two line letter to Cambridge to vindicate him and forever put this matter to rest once and for all. That's all I ask. #Shun hypocrisy in your campaign |
The fan's mail is not half as shocking as the response. I expected a much more mature response. What a crude response! |
That thing endangered big tiger batteries ![]() |
Wow There was always a particular white guy who constantly appeared closely behind Buhari during his campaign tours. I think someone asked here on NL and it was just assumed as some PR. If this is true, then I guess it wasn't hidden, afterall. Uncle Sam will never let countries with oil be ![]() What's the common denominator in the positions Buhari held in '75? And '76? And during Abacha's regime? I'm just curious ![]() |
This same guy that lit up my mind when I saw him perform on stage? He lit everywhere up with his dance, captivating hearts across the world, men and women, young and old were thrilled in awe. Whoever would have thought how insecure he was? Surgery gone horribly bad. MJ is now a reference to aftermath/after effect of facial surgeries. Bad example. |
Oritsejafor reminds me of Bishop Aringarosa ![]() |
Wow ![]() I know APC will rig in their strongholds, while PDP will do same in their own strongholds. But with such bold allegations, I will refrain from believing this write-up in this entirety. If anybody believes the logic that Buhari once fought corruption and as such will fight it again then same person must believe that if Jonathan gave impetus to a free and fair 2011 election, then he'd also do so again this 2nd time. If you disagree, you must be one-sided. |

Alhaji Shehu Shagari, My respect sir. |
mcebisco:Are you sure about this? You might want to check what South Africa stocks I always wondered who owned hotelng.com, thumbs up Mark Essien. Anyways, I'm joining you guys by december ![]() |
Continue... But just make sure you're not cooking up another conspiracy theory ![]() |
$3.2tr? Does this man know what he is saying? I consider this over-bloated figure a blatant lie. All Nigeria needs to surpass South Africa is a passionate, compassionate enthusiastic 'LEADER' who can put together a cabinet of think-tank technocrats and lead them to profer practical solutions. Not appointing politicians everywhere every time. We can get a willing country to fund such project and we pay back with oil over an agreed period of time. But what country will give you $3.2tr? ![]() |
Except of course, his definition of anti-corruption is removing an anini and installing a yahoo-yahoo or a hacker. One is a rough, crude thief that steals at an arithmetic rate, the other a professional thief that steals at a geometric rate. Buhari should just stop that anti-corruption sermon ![]() |
Well, let's be rational and understand he needs one for his campaign tours. Even if it wasn't Tinubu's, his campaign group would have still had to charter one. But with so many allegedly corrupt people around him, I doubt his words to fight corruption. Except of course, he intends to remove a more careless thief who doesn't know how to cover his trails of loot and puts a more crafty thief who has perfected how to be discreet through stealing by proxy. Stealing the maradona style. Spare me your anti-corruption speeches and move on to other issues abeg ![]() |
A wise saying in ancient Roman courts is that a wise courtesan bows deeply to the king yet, gently farts. This, Jega could have applied wisely. I think that Jonathan's campaign group either forfeits pursuing the courts to disqualify Buhari and change Jega. Or leave Jega and continue to distract the opposition with court cases. Power politics isn't for the faint at heart. And I know that if the present opposition was the ruling party, they would have probably done worse to remain in power ![]() Its a game. Both sides play same game, both sides cheat. No need crying foul when one out-cheats the other to clench power/hold on to power. But pls, shun violence. |
Our democracy is evolving and the courts need to clarify many things that lessons can be drawn from. Setting precedence and properly interpreting the laws will help now and in future elections so we don't make same mistakes. Particularly, Buhari's case. I want to know if I apply for a job with FG and my certificate is requested, do I refer them to NYSC? Arguing that afterall, how did they clear me for the mandatory 1yr service if I didn't have a first degree? Can such claim/argument be valid and legitimate? Hmmm Over to the courts ![]() |
lookingforjob:I vehemently disagree with this. |
Inadequate orientation about the 'Permanent' Voter's Card. NOA needs to reach out to Nigerians more, continuing from where INEC stops. |
I care less if this is a made up story. Had the elections held as scheduled and Boko Haram begins to bomb, destroy valuable properties, kill innocent citizens and kidnap more children, these same people making noise against the postponement would be first to start tongue-lashing security agencies on twitter from the comfort of their bedrooms ![]() May the best candidate win. |
Missy89:By 'lethal' do you mean 'nuclear'?. The US will blunder with that move. US loves the chicken game. |
See dis kain b'itch with a maggot infested poucy sef dey talk.. Idiott! How do people's brains think up such twisted, perverted words? ![]() There are really mean souls out there o ![]() Sanusi talks a little too much. |
One of the weaknesses in fighting these terrorists is Intelligence. First, UN can do the world a favour by telling us who funds Boko Haram. Forget ground battle, just give us intel. When the US came, they refused us intel. Yet, they claimed to be helping us. They wanted to be in command and solely run the operation. We know US won't fight another person(s)'s wars except they have an interest. So uncle Sam, what is your interest? Cos we know you will never let countries with oil rest ![]() US, UN, NATO and any other mask they bear will not be welcomed into Nigeria cos they always make a simple 1+1 become x - (-y X z) + (x X y - z) + 1 ![]() One thing I am sure of is that Boko Haram is not funded locally. Who in Nigeria has that kind of resource? Atiku? Even Dangote would seriously feel the impact. If its GEJ, military and political moles would have leaked facts to APC and his enemies would have used the concrete fact(s) against him squarely in these ongoing heated campaigns and not just the mere speculation people hold. Buhari may have simply said unguarded words out of pure sentiment for his ethnicity, but I doubt he sponsors them. UN/US over to you ![]() |
Hahahahaha!!! When did France start romancing Nigeria? More eyes are expected to open after Nigeria ignored the US and went ahead to procure the much needed military hardware elsewhere. After US saw em heavy weaponry delivered safely to Nigeria, their evil media manipulated it and began headlines like "US ignores Nigeria, works closely with Chad and Cameroon' I laugh in siberian yoruba! Our media should take up the challenge and let them know "Nigeria snubs America, Procures military hardware from Russia" France is always wanting to arm-twist Nigeria into their usual slave-master partnerships in Africa. Still, their puppet colonies' economies will always be inferior to Nigeria's. I don't even want to recall the recent worthless treaty they tried to trick Nigeria into signing with back-door clauses in the agreement to milk our resources. This is 21st century Nigeria! France, we do not need your 240 bla bla bla Euros if you won't play by our rules. Your colleagues in EU like Poland would appreciate the gesture more cos they are over-feeding on rotting apples. Thank you. *drops mic* Ozin:See them? Unrepentant french psychos. Smh ![]() |
Anywhere I go and meet anyone referring to Africa as a country, I'd immediately liken such person to an illiterate in some remote village who thinks all light skinned folks are either english or americans Next time, report such person(s) to Robert Mugabe ![]() On the flip side, are you sure ur annoyance isn't the fact that 'Kannywood' (whatever that means) is not recognised much anywhere, even in Nigeria? ![]() |
King Abdullah of Jordan has always been a trained military man, having had his early training at Sandhurst. It inappropriate to compare him with Jonathan who has been a civilian all his life. And why has Obama not gallantly suited up, carried gun and led any offensive? The opportunistic paparazzi media stunt of King Abdullah (at a sensitive moment like this to become an untested hero) has suddenly become a yardstick to judge others? Pathetic at very least. |
Senator Ahmed Zanna can shove his mouth up his arsse! ![]() American military are bullies. Yes, let them go and work with those they can cheaply manipulate and out-maneuver like the stooges they are. Anywhere the Americans get involved, the small wound always grows into cancer. Before you know it, Nigeria becomes another disorganised state. John Kerry knows Nigerians can't be pushed around like Chad and Cameroon. For the records, America did not ignore Nigeria, Nigeria snubbed the US and just got the needed military hardware delivered. Its a big shame on Ol' Uncle Sam and his media propaganda! |
In a funny way, Ukraine reminds me of Kosovo @Appleyard, I don't think the dynamics playing out in Ukraine is enough to trigger WW III. |
Hahahaha! Robert Mugabe has been giving the west sleepless nights since the days of old! And you gotta love this man that they (the west) haven't been able to stop him for this long. He's a huge thorn in the throat of those supremacist rednecks! ![]() |
