I didn't graduate from UNIZIK.....Why I said a step already missed, to build this kind of relationship will required some sort of time preferably when someone is still an Undergraduate
MarketForces:
Which school did you finish from? If it is UNIZIK, I can help you. If not, begin to establish contact with any of your lecturers that you can work with. You don't have to tell them of your intentions expressly, just build relationships. I started by following professors around. That alone makes some people to see you as a brilliant student. Your first clientele will now be those under his or her supervision. The lecturer in question doesn't have to know and you need to be smart about it.

From there, you begin to enter other lecturers and working for students under their supervision. Other school runs like helping students with clearance, etc can also fetch you money. Attend project defense and ensure to be visible - either by offering to take the minutes of the event or operating the PowerPoint presentation for them. All of these helps to build confidence in your clients that you are on ground.

These secrets are tested and trusted. Since 2015, I have never gone broke even though I am outside of formal employment until January this year. It takes some sacrifices on your part too.
1: you will run errands for lecturers
2: invigilate exams or even attend lectures with them
3: you will spend on them by buying them little things on their birthdays etc.

With time, they will even refer students to you. That's for those that are coded. I even did other runs with marking of scripts banking on my relationship with the lecturer involved. Note: YOU MUST BE SMART ABOUT IT. I have since stopped that script and exam runs though, but they were part of my early survival strategies. At some point in one's life, you must begin to set standards.

Now I don't do school errands anymore, I don't do exam runs and I don't do assignment and projects for undergraduates.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Job Placement And Recruitment In Port Harcourt And Abuja by Stanbest7728: 12:48pm On Mar 22, 2022
Good Job guys, I have BSc political science....am ready to work in any organization in Abuja here
SoliBayNG:
Hello All,
We have a service, that might be of benefit to some jobs seekers here, especially, those in Port Harcourt.

SoliBay is a recruitment and consulting firm, and we represent a number of firms in PH.
When there are vacancies in these organisations, we are contacted to send in candidates we feel are suitable.

These organisations include schools, telecommunication firms, engineering coys, furniture coys, companies in the

hospitality industry, and also those in the food and beverage industry.

How it works
-When there is an open position, the company contacts us, and we go through our pool of suitable candidates, call them in for pre-screening, and they are then sent to the host company, where they might be employed.

-The company then gives us feedback, about those they found suitable (sometimes, they contact the candidates as well)

-When the candidates aren't contacted, we contact them, and finish up all paper work with them.

-If any verifications are supposed to be done, and documents signed, they are handled.

-Candidate resumes work, at the time agreed.

As a consulting firm, we do have our charges, and procedures, but NO MONEY is paid, until candidate has gotten the job, or is 100% sure of getting the job. No financial commitments extend past the first month, and candidate is free from all financial obligations to us after this period.

As stated, it is not for everyone. Everyone has their own way of getting jobs.

We also accept unsolicited CV's seeing we do not collect any upfront payments. We would contact you, once we receive a request, matching your profile.

Jobs vary from jobs for SSCE holders to BSc holders, and salary range varies as well of course. It all depends on the host company.

Note: Preference is usually given to candidates in Port Harcourt, because most of the time, the window between pre-screening, screening, and resumption is very short.

Also, paying so much from other places and not getting selected can be tough to deal with, though it all depends on you.

For unsolicited CV's, they can be sent to solibayng@gmail.com.

Subject should include position(s) of interest, and location. (Eg. receptionist, banking, administrative positions, Abuja.)

Once, we have a match, you will be contacted via our offical email (xxxxx@solibay.....) or by text.

We will also be posting all open positions from us, only in this thread.

Kindly post any questions below, if you do have.

I think I have missed a step already, I had a very good establishment in my school days but then where do I even start from if I want to go back to my school.....
MarketForces:
If you are intelligent, go back to the school where you graduated from, reestablish yourself and begin to write projects and assignments for students. I survived for seven years through it, bought a car and trained myself through Msc and PhD, supported my family and relatives and friends. I also raised other writers that I now refer jobs to. Currently, I have stopped writing for undergraduates and if the job is not up to 100k and above, I refer it to my boys. Now I am also gainfully employed but I still dey the game as a side hustle.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Are Nigerian Graduates Employable? by Stanbest7728: 5:54pm On Feb 11, 2022
Some Employers in Nigeria are heartless and ridiculous. After my NYSC in 2021 I worked in a hotel Where we makes about 5M in a month only to be paid 15k at the end of every Month, Just 12 of us including the two security guys..

2021 I moved to Abuja When someone called me to come and work for him as an Online publisher, I worked like 24hrs On Laptop, only to get the same 15K at the end on month.

Abeg still Looking for Job anyways
