The one I can't stand is 720p on 5.5 inch and above. 1080p on s7 edge is very good and u can't really differentiate it from 1440p unless when using VR. Moreover display quality is not just about screen resolution. Brightness level and viewing angles play a lot. Some Infinix and even Xioami mid range phones have 1080p but the quality, brightness, viewing angles is not on per with Samsung's or other big players 1080p. I will trade my Qhd display for a very good FHD if I can get tangible battery life improvement.

For your info,Sony Xperia xz2 has wireless charging ,2k display and water resistant and sells for 650usd on Amazon for the 6gb version

Well, If that is true ($650) then it's not a bad deal. But I think Sony lost the plot. I dont even see top reviewers touching their phones. Not recently anyways. Can't remember seeing Unbox Therapy nor MKBHD reviewing a Sony phone recently. I might be wrong, but i dont remember seeing any top reviewers review of the Sony phones.

OnePlus phones are 'cheaper' for a reason. They cut back on stuff. But they do it smart.
1080P Display - More Battery & More Speed as there are less pixels to be pushed. And the AMOLED Panel is Gorgeous to be fair.
Wireless Charging - Dash Charge. If you use Dash Charge, you will understand. I once went to take a leak and came back to 5% more battery. UNREAL.
Water resistant - Well, I guess this may be a big deal for many. And i think they tried to do it and failed. So they decided to just call it 'Splash resistant'. However, I have never believed in mixing Water and Electronics. Especially not in this part of the world where warranty is a joke or non existent. Plus, I no sabi swim. Not a deal breaker personally.

That said, would be nice to have all these features. Even if it costs more.

If you put all these and price it $100 higher, people will cry. No matter what you do, people will always cry. Until you start giving out FREE phones. Then nobody will complain even if the phone doesn't have a screen.

OnePlus 6 with 256gb storage and 8gb of RAM, Snapdragon 845 and premium build quality costs $630. Although no wireless charging and no IP rating, but if Samsung, HTC, SOny or even Huawei made a phone like this it is going to sell for $950 and above.

I actually think the base model at $529 is more bang for buck than the top model at $629. But yes. PLENTY of value here.

OnePlus performance can only be rivaled by the Pixel. But not even in multi-tasking. I can have 5 or 6 heavy games open and none of them gets ejected from the RAM. That's very very impressive. Even the Samsungs and HTCs and Sonys wont do that because their software isn't as refined as this.

I picked up the Midnight Black 8GB, 128GB Variant of the OP6. My 5T is also the exact same config. I never used the memory up to 50% so, there wasn't need for more.

As much as the 6GB, 64GB variant should be plenty enough for most people. I like to have FULL POWER and not have to delete anything to create space. Lol.
